well I didnt go that crazy. I spent $10 and was going to sit on the tokens knowing I had a million dollars in game cash. After a couple of days of bad shop items (i'm in the 80s and they kept spamming 90's stuff....I got 90s Fireball in back to back shop updates) I decided to use a token to refresh. Ended up popping some cards I was looking for. Next thing I knew I was refreshing the shop, buying all the wrestler cards rinse and repeat.
ended up dropping $25 altogether but also ended up with several cards I'd been waiting for in the shop and bought the Screwjob! card. Of course the trick is the more you buy, the less that will pop up hopefully increasing your chances of getting good cards. Don't know how many times the NSync wannabe wrestlers or Valkyrie have showed up in my shop. But once you knock out those little cards in the 5 to 10 thousand dollar range that seem to keep popping up you wont have to worry about them anymore. Just the foils.
I don't know....I don't mind the way the shop works but it could be better. Maybe give you the opportunity to pick one card you want or take your chances in the shop. or both. or have a better algorithm for the ratio of wrestlers to skits/mic spots. or the ability to turn off foil card offers. just a thought

I did a bad thing........checked my shop when I woke up....saw Jet Set Strutter, Sumo San and another card I wanted. I was still mostly asleep and accidentally hit the refresh shop button. I kinda went crazy and bought a whole bunch of tokens. Long story short I only need 6 wrestlers and 1 manager now LOL. But now all the shop keeps throwing at me are foil cards.
