New to the game and I have a few questions.
1. If you start a new game does it reset all of the stat increases that you have acquired for a wrestler?
2. What are the benefits of promoting or demoting a wrestler's push? I can understand why you would want to promote push but it seems pricey. But I can't really understand why you would want to demote push.

1. No.
2. Demoting could improve a weak place on the card. Ex: You have too many upper midcard wrestlers and not enough midcarders so you demote an upper midcarder to midcarder. Now you get to use the card more and improve the mid card. Same goes for a promotion. The push change will increase likelihood of winning and losing depending on which direction you go.
Bonus: Both of these could have been answered by using the search tool. There’s a lot of good content here to help your gameplay. Otherwise keep posting and enjoy!!!

Thanks for the quick reply. Regarding your bonus tip, I apologize, I'm an old man in terms of internet skills and my phone kind of sucks. this is the first mobile game in a long time that I've been able to enjoy. Again thanks for the tips, brother.

I personally would not recommend promoting or demoting. They cost way too much for doing so. A token can be used to get a Main Eventer in the shop, and if you need Midcard and Opener wrestlers, they cost less than the $25,000 you pay for the demotion and are more common.

Absolutely should make the promotions slightly cheaper and especially cheaper to demote. Creative control HUGE fan of the game though. Brand new tot he forum, just got into 1991 first playthrough!

I was thinking though, having someone demoted or promoted to the same place on the card as their rival sounds brilliant.
Like being able to have your rivalry fights happen in the openers or midcard only slots sounds very advantageous.
