I’m still unsure who would pair up well with Mr. Bonsai? I’m thinking maybe Max Attack probably being the closest to resemble Daniel LaRusso. I like manager/wrestler combos that make some sort of sense.

That's the most obvious, for sure. Something you could make into a storyline is to put Mr. Bonsai with Magnus Muscle based on their shared heritage in the 80s. Then, at the end of the decade, Bonsai turns on Magnus for his increased American patriotism. Heel Bonsai goes with Sumo San and/or Destruction in the 90s.

Pairing him with Magnus Muscle is a great idea, I like that! I definitely cannot wait until I get into the 90’s, Many more possibilities using him as Mr. Fuji. I wish Destruction could be used earlier than 1990 though seeing as Demolition came around 1987.

I always presumed that was a bug and they overlap for some reason. I never understood why both Bonsai are active at once, and the Heel isn't available until later

They don't exactly look alike (unlike Big Boss Jr. and Most Isin, who does look simular.) |

Yeah.....there's not a lot to choose from when it comes to managers for babyfaces. I want to use a little logic when pairing them up. Obviously Mr Bonsai goes well with Ninja Star and Max Attack and even Magnus Muscle. Ideally Gigawatt works best with scientifically inclined wrestlers like Robolectro or Nerd Alert. But due to having a whopping 2 managers to choose from for faces I end up sticking him with everyone I can when putting them in Mic Spots or Skits otherwise it would be an automatic dud for guys like Haka Tonga.
Michael T Wolf's not bad but they really need to add a Marty McFly character. I put some thought into it........he can have his signature vest jacket but he wears a lucha mask. His gimmick is that he's a time travelling luchadore and his name is Luchadelorean. His finisher can be anything that plays on that riff........McFlying Bodypress or Out of Time or something like that.
