I like to play the game as if I’m booking a real fed. I’ll usually introduce a new wrestler with a couple of weeks worth of vignettes followed up with a few weeks of squash matches against local talent. Then they’ll have a one on one interview with Honest Al or a brag etc. From there they will move up to a P4V match against an opener and then slowly have them rise up through the ranks until they start a feud with a contender of equal or greater level. How have you had new guys come in to your feds?

All the time.
I play realisitic, not to get the best star ratings.

I just make sure I have them appear once in a non-wrestling segment. If they are Upper Midcard or higher, I try to debut them at the P4V. If they don't fit or they are a midcarder/opener, I'll put them on the Week One card. I have a booking rule that anyone who wrestled on the P4V doesn't appear on that next show so it gives me room to do that if necessary.

It's something I've done since the first 80MW. I guess because that first card had no segments and just matches I viewed it as being something that wouldn't be televised. I liked it because it gave me the opportunity to use my top guys who weren't involved in angles/storylines. I mainly put them in matches they had a good chance of winning or putting two guys together that you would imagine would go 50/50 if they wrestled each other enough. So, I'm a little more restricted now because of the forced opener/midcarder only matches, but I've stuck to it regardless. The only people that ever have to pull double duty are champions.

Im exactly the same, more fun. Although I've had some turn up at a PPV as an extra in a feud or immediately after a big PPV (like the RAW after 'Mania)
