I like to use this event as a version of WCW’s Lethal Lottery. I pick the teams completely at random. Creating a wide variety of strange bedfellow tag teams. Sometimes enemy’s end up teaming together and real Tag partners end up facing off against each other. All vying to win the tournament because not only is it for bragging rights BUT the very next week the winners will face off against each other for the number one contender spot and receive a World title shot at the following P4V.
Anybody else do anything similar with this or othe P4V’s??

Normally I just let the winner face the champion and float around in the contender scene for a bit |

I tend to do almost the opposite with this PPV i see it as a chance for the lesser tag teams to shine.
Smooth criminals has to be my favorite tag team in the game so i try to give them a chance to win it.
My last 3 winners have been power heroes, Anti-Americans and Freak show (i am in the 90's atm)

I love that the screw job card will take whatever team you use it on in the first round takes them the whole way to a win.

I once used the screwjob card on the Mullet Cousins, thinking that it only applied for the first round.
Big mistake.
But what I do is, because it's an invitational, the tag champs choose what teams take part. The winner gets a shot at the title. So, if the current tag champs are heels, they choose really bad teams, or if they're honorable, they'll choose decent teams

Man this is tough, I've always used it to showcase my lesser tag teams but I really like the idea of doing a Lethal Lottery. What to do what to do...
