Growing up I loved certain wrestling factions (nWo, DX, The Ministry, Wolfpac, Raven's Flock, etc.), which inspired me to create some in my fed. I haven't unlocked all of the cards yet, so these may change in the future. Here are my rosters with the leaders coming first:
League of Heroes (Face): Arizona Chance RPR He Beast Mighty Leo Zen Aurora Mynx
Hellraisers (Heel): Slashmaster Dark Invader The Annihilator Skullgore Keith Blood Countess Succubus
Future Shock (F): Ace Arcadium Robolectro 2000 Starboy Moon Man Elara Nexus -M- Professor Gigawatt
The Pinnacle (F): Dude Brohan Dicky Thunderbird Magnus Muscle Chet Skye Jessie Wild Lyndi Harker
(Adding King V/Valedictorian when I get the card.)
Bermuda Triangle (F): Madam Tiki Haka Tonga Chameleon Kid
The Squad (F): Lazer Buzzsaw Fireball Warhawk Dangerzone Sgt Shipley
War Dogs (H): Mr. Tycoon Hammerhead Iron Mask Copper Commander Vladimir The Cruel Brit Buckingham Mother Russia
1st Class (H): Jet Set Strutter Flawless One Exotic Rick Pelvis Pressley Almighty Dolla Queen of Mean -M- The Thinker
Killer Klan (H): Ninja Shadow Great Ginzu Mercenary (Spazz didn't make the cut) Brute Massacre Johnny Kobra -M- Mr. Bonsai
Bad 2 The Bone (H): Dr. B Chicano Cesar Sleaze Dizzy Lix Soul Daddy Chaka Crass
Ok, so now let me explain a few things about how this works in my fed....
Faction members never wrestle each other.
Any combination of faction members will count as a tag team. (Freebird Rule)
Faction rosters will change over time.
Faction fueds dominate the overall storyline. For example:
Mr. Tycoon got tired of The War Dogs getting destroyed by The Squad in their fued from 1983-1984. In 1985, he decided to bribe Jet Set into bringing 1st Class on board to help win the war. Since the two richest wrestlers in the fed have teamed up, the referees receive a nice bonus for looking the other way during matches. This new super-faction, named The Masterminds, are hogging all of the titles in the fed.
I'm now trying to decide if I should have the League of Heroes (currently fueding with the Hellraisers) step in and save the day, or allow a power struggle to cause The Masterminds to split. -------
I said all of that to ask...are any of you doing something similar with your feds?

I once had a stable called 'The Bank', made up of Mr. Tycoon, Yuppie VP, Copper Commander, Iron Mask and The Annihilator. They were meant to win all the titles, but none of them were cruiserweights It's not really a faction though, but this is the closest thing I had to it. Factions are a cool idea though.

Sounds faction-like enough to me. It's your fed, so it can be whatever you want. But that's lead me to ask another question... What's the difference between a stable and faction?

What's the difference between a stable and faction? Short Answer: Stable = Manager, Faction = Members coming together without a Manager Longer Answer: Prior to the 1990's Managers would create a name for the group of Wrestlers they managed, and even though members would come and go, the Stable remained with the Manager. If the Manager left then the Stable just ceased to exist. Examples include Bobby Heenan's "Heenan Family", General Skandor Akbar's "Devastation Inc.", and Paul E. Dangerously's (Paul Heyman's) "Dangerous Alliance". I'm only aware of two Factions existing prior to the 1990's, "The Four Horsemen" and "The Fabulous Freebirds". There may be more and I just can't think of them. For a Faction, there usually isn't one central manager of all members, however there may be one or more managers that do manage one or more members of said Faction. Such as with "The N.W.O" where Ted Dibiasi or Dusty Rhodes would manage here and there, but not come out with every member. Any number of members of a Faction can leave and the Faction continue on with the same name, either by less members or recruiting new ones. Hope this helps

I love the idea of stables/factions, but have not used them yet. The game does not force you to play with them, and I am focusing on unlocking merchandise in this play through. Perhaps once I get the majority of cards, I'll do something like this.
