The Store

It seems like a lot of people have been or get frustrated with the store and I was just wondering if anyone has any funny or annoying stories. 

For example I have been playing for 39 days now and have had the store refresh 77 times and I have never once seen the following cards: either Ace card, Freedom Fighter, He-Beast, Lazer, 80's Dude Brohan, Mighty Leo, Spazz, Vladimir the Cruel, The Valedictorian, Brute or Massacre, or Hammerhead. 

Anyone else have frustrations with this.

Also I'm aware that a change is supposed to come to the store in the future.

Ive been playing for yonks, 6 wrestlers left to collect, and not seen the jupiter card once. Some might say this this is a good thing, as apperntly he is pants, but im a completionist and want them all!!!

When I have tokens no main eventers or legendary's pop up but when I haven't got any than all of these cards get in the shop

Ace tends to hide if he’s scared. It’s like trying to catch a prairie dog— you just have to nab him on the rare occasion he gets the courage to stick his head out.

I’ve been playing close to three months now, and have yet to see Ace Arcadium, Flawless One, Jupiter (not that I’m in a big hurry), and many others. However think about it this way— each day you see a max of ten different cards unless you refresh the shop. In 39 days, that’s 390 cards. There are currently 232 wrestler cards in the game— not including foils. Add to that 21 match types, 17 mic spots, 20 skits, 30 managers, that’s quite a lot to go through, and with the game seemingly randomizing which cards it shows you, it would be impossible at your stage to see everything.

ehhhh here's the thing........when I was waiting for good stuff to pop up in the store I'd keep getting expensive managers, cards I wouldnt be able to use for a while like pretty much all 90s wrestlers and just generally stuff I didnt want. so eventually I just started buying everything I could after I'd built up the money. that at least eliminated those cards from popping up again. 

Was still content to wait out the store until one day I accidentally refreshed the store instead of cashing in a token to get Jet Set Strutter. so I went on a crazy spree of buying and refreshing over and over until he popped back up. what I noticed was I got better cards from refreshing the store. which kind of leads me to believe spending money to refresh the store increases the odds of getting better wrestlers. At least it did in my case. 

Impossible to say if they would have popped up in the same order if I'd just waited for the store to refresh Doesnt matter now since I unlocked all the wrestlers to this point. Now the problem is the store getting flooded with foil cards. I still need a couple of matches but keep getting 5 foils pretty much everytime. Every once in a while I'll get Boo +5 or one of the other expensive cards I dont want. One thing I'd love to see added in an update is the ability to disable or block foil cards.

Hacker and Mort Ishin have not left my shop for the last 4 refreshes. This has to be a record? I have one token and I refuse to waste it buying either of them as I’m playing in the 80’s

Probably coincidence? I'm a premium player and I always had the "meh" cards pop up after refreshing.

Even if you are not a foil collector, I recommend buying all the (up to 40kish) foil cards to get them out of the store so the better ones will pop up later.

Psht, at least tag me if you're going to mention me so I can respond to your "spewing of lies". I'm a premium card, so of course I won't show up for free at the start of the game. You gotta check the shop often, because one of my three premium cards may show up. Do you even have a second card?

I just yesterday saw buzzsaw (90s) and right when I had the money to get him he left that very second and I've also never seen dude brogan, valedictorian(face) ,Lyndi Harker, slashmaster (non slasher*), or Chicano

If you buy basically everything that you can from the store the better chance of getting legendary or main event cards.
If you play the 20 years you will end up with around 45 tokens ( well 20 tokens the rest cash from shows )
I have been playing for a long time but my 1st 20 years i did not buy tokens and i had all the legendaries 80's and 90's( never refreshed the shop ) and about 75% of all the main eventers.
The more you play the more cash you have to buy everything in the shop, the more matches managers ect you buy just means that they can not come up in your shop again.

That’s SIX refreshes now and both still there. Unreal.

That’s SIX refreshes now and both still there. Unreal.

They might be the last ones left of that rarity.

Lyndi Harker
Blockbuster Brohan
Madam Tiki
Troglo (90’s)
Juan Tijuana (80’s)
Pierre the Enormous
2 Zap
And Buzzsaw (90’s)

I’m in 1991. There were a few that took a long time to show up like Mr. Tycoon. I suppose that’s really good going actually. Although they are mostly wrestlers I do really want.
