I generally understand how the scoring system works. I just have one question...
Is it possible to get a 5* rating with a face v. face or heel v. heel match?
I mean I’ve able to get some 5* matches using a feud card, maybe an applicable match stip, and/or some managers. For example, Savage/Steamboat is an easy 5* match much of the time.
What about Buzzsaw/Brohan? I can’t seem to get over 3* when I have face/face or heel/heel. If you aren’t getting the +1* for the face/heel match does that imply that it’s impossible? I guess I kind of book it like WM6 anyway with just a random match and not a prolonged feud, but I didn’t know if there is some trick I’m missing.

It's only 1 point you'll actually lose by getting face v face or heel v heel.
The major thing to keep in mind is the total score based on Skill (along with match stipulations and all of that stuff).
Buzzsaw and Dude Brohan only have 10 skill each, so they can only reach 20 points max without the feud card in play. 20 points is barely enough for a 3 star encounter by itself (in regards to the scoring system), and the +1 star for the feud only makes it 4.
In order to get a 5 star with Face vs Face and Heel vs Heel is to have wrestlers with high enough skill and to reach that 40 point total barrier (or 30 in the event of a feud.)
(Of course, this is dealing with 1 on 1 matches, without taking into account 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3, or even Triple Threat matches.)
