Enormous Pierre was champion form February 1983 to March 1986. He had 44 successful title defences. His record was:
1983: 26-1
1984: 30-1
1985: 22-1
1986: 14-2
Most of the losses were in tag team matches.
Dicky Thunderbird was tv champion July 1984 to May 1987 with only one month where he lost the title. There were 36 successful defences. His record was:
1984: 15-2
1985: 21-3
1986: 20-2

Lazer was 83-1 from 1981-83 for me with 59 consecutive title defenses. He had subsequent reigns of 24, 19, and 13 defenses through the 80’s.
