Does the game actually track/reflect the matches you make?

If you have two wrestlers face off a lot, does that in any way get reflected in the game?  Or are the storylines we imagine and “create” not reflected in any actual way by the game?

All just in the imagination of the mind but that’s the beauty of the game because you’re not restricted to anything. I see those feud cards as just an added extra to a match that I’d maybe use at a big time PPV if if was already part of my storyline. I prefer to use the sponsor cards for the money.
