I spoke to support about my concerns of upgrading phones and having my 80's Mania files not transfer over. Here's their exact reply:

The 8MW is stored and saves locally to your device, meaning, there is no account info or personal player data saved to an external server (like a larger company/big budget game might provide).
This essentially means the game and it's data are stored ONLY on the device you've used to download/play/purchase.
However, there are ways to transfer saved data from one Android device to another. Here is some more information on it if you're interested:

I'm in the process of giving that a shot now, and I'll be willing to create a step by step write up for Android. First, if anyone has a quicker, easier, or more efficient way then please post in detail. Also we'll need someone with an iPhone go to through the process and post as well. I know we've all put a lot of money and work into the game and I'd hate to see it go corrupt or just flat out lose it. I believe this will be a very well received write up for the community.
