So, while I get that we are free to create our own storylines and feuds in our heads, I do wish that the game would actually reflect them in some way, so we wouldn't be limited by the creators vision for feuds.
So what I was thinking is that it would be great if they could have a new type of Feud card.
Basically it would be a card that would be auto-generated by the game itself after you fulfill some sort of conditions. The wrestlers involved would be determined by who you used in matches. The requirements would be varied... maybe if two wrestlers had a certain number of certain-star-rated matches together, the card would appear, or something like that.
I would think that there would be a few catches that would be important.
First, I think that the cards would have to have a "cooling off" period... like, they could be used for X number of matches before they need to be "rested" X number of shows. That would basically ensure that you cannot just use them infinitely, and better reflect that eventually feuds lose their luster and have to be dropped for a bit.
I think also there would have to be a limit to the number of player-generated feuds a wrestler could have at any given time... maybe every wrestler could only have a single "generated" feud at a time? You'd have to give the players the option to "discard" a feud card, so that if they were sick of a particular "generated" feud and wanted to work on generating a new one they could.
Personally I think something like this, while small, would go a LONG way towards "formalizing" the stories we have in our heads, and would actually really benefit the game in the long run.
Now, there would obviously have to be some coding done, and there might be issues... but feuds already exist, there is already the ability for cards to be available/unavailable for a set period of time (injuries) and the game already keeps track of records in some way. I guess the issues would be A) the code behind the creation of the feud card, B) the ability to "dismiss" the card, and C) the card management system.
Anyway... I don't know if the devs actually read the suggestions on the forum, but I think this would be a HUGE winner.
Anyone else like this idea?
