I think flawless one should be demoted from Main Eventer to UpperMid.... I don’t recall Mr.Perfect in enough Main even programs that he should be given that status seeing as VTC, Big Rigg (tweener) and Flex Deltoid aren’t even considered as Main Eventers.

90s Great Ginzu should definitely be a Main Eventer. Due to The Great Muta’s run in new japan and his time in WCW. One of the biggest names in wrestling to come from Japan.

I'm accepting of weird pushes due to the ability to promote and demote now. Bottom line is that it could be argued everyone could be a Main Eventer, so I am OK with a balanced roster, maybe a few guys aren't where they are supposed to be to start.
Besides, these characters are fictional. :-) Seriously though IMHO they take a life of their own. So I am Ok with the 80WM Universe.
Love the discussion though. I am glad this game gets people thinking about the history of wrestling.

In the 90s, HHH wasn’t a main eventer. He was solidly upper-card and only became a main eventer like mid-way through 99, so upper mid makes sense to me. Big Rig was the lowest drawing WWF Champ in history, so upper mid for his tweener version makes sense Lex Luger.....you got me on that one. IDK, maybe his heel one should be main event? But as for Mr. Perfect, he 100% is deserving of that spot. I mean, you got quite a lot of top programs he was in: Hogan, Flair, Savage (as manager and wrestler IIRC) and that is just WWF. The guy deserves that main event push

Perfect also kind of falls into that same weird gap as Bret Hart around the same time, where even if he was not the world champion, his matches were often as anticipated (if not more so) as the main events. There are lots of IC champs who were basically main eventers with the belt in the fans eyes, even if their actual placement was lower on the card.
In other words, his status could be based on fan perception as much as actual accolades.

The guy deserves that main event push You are correct about Triple H he had only just entered the Main event scene for the later part of 1999. As for Big Rigg/Diesel you are right that he was the lowest drawing WWF champion but to be fair the wrestling business as a whole was in such a lull during 1995, ratings and interest was down across the board. But regardless of that he still ‘Main Evented’ about 10 PPVs in fact, during his world championship run so I feel like he definitely deserves that spot. I still only consider Mr Perfect as an upper mid. He was never WWF or WCW world champion. He was IC level and he was a great work horse but he never ‘Main evented’ any PPV’s aside from that tag match with Savage against Flair and Ramon at SS92 and even that didn’t go on last. If Mr. Perfect is going to be seen as Main Eventer then a LOT of other wrestlers 100% need to be bumped up as well e.g. Mr. Tycoon. Now finally Lex Luger, 2x WCW world heavyweight champion, part of the Four horsemen, legendary feuds with Flair and Sting. Had the huge Lex Express push for his feud over the world title with Yokozuna. Defeated nWo leader Hollywood Hogan to win his second World Heavyweight Championship... definitely deserves to be a Main Eventer

While you can promote wrestlers through money.... perhaps....they could implement certain auto-promtions once a wrestler achieves certain landmarks....like a certain number of wins or a being a grand slam champion or winning so many ppv matches, etc.
If not that then a fluid status system where the position on the card changes based on how they perform, how much they draw and how they are booked

Arizona chance should be main eventer... Arizona Chance IS a main eventer. Just look below my name, near the stars (which also symbolizes the lowest possible star rating for one of my dramatic promos). Jupiter. Where do I begin? I guess he’s been placed in the main event of most cards he’s appeared on, but good ol’ Tiny is quite possibly the worst well known wrestler of all time. Can we please give him a feud with Mad Arab and call it “Worst of All Time”? MINUS. FIVE. STARS.
