I'm midway through 1988 in my current playthrough and despite giving them plenty of chances some of my favorites haven't held the world title yet. Since I now own almost every card (just need the Main Event/Legendary foils and some managers) I decided to use some of my tokens to push four people to make them proper Main Eventers. These four wrestlers are:
Arizona Chance (Foil) Great Ginzu 80s (Foil)
Hammerhead (Foil) Magnus Muscle 90s (Foil)
Are there any other wrestlers that I should bring up to the main event scene? Or elevate from a lowly opener to a midcarder? I was thinking about either Keith Blood or Chet Skye, so I can use their base version in the opener only matches and the foil for the midcard only.

One doesn’t have to be a Main Eventer to be a champion. When I was building up my roster in my first play through, the Upper Mid Carders (and some Midcarders) would unseat Dr. B or Slashmaster for the World Title.

I know, I've had a couple of (upper)midcarders hold the World Championship as well, but I just thought these four deserved a little push based on how much I use them.
Also, Slashmaster doesn't lose to midcarders.

I love that you're pushing Ginzu/Hammerhead. I love using HH as a world title contender.
Have you thought about building up a jobber to a big position? Honestly, I adore doing that with guys like The Schmuck and Jobber Joe.

With the large number of patriotic American babyfaces in the main event scene (Average Guy, Buzzsaw, Dr. B, Dude, etc.) some evil foreigner-type heels are a must.
Average Guy is currently trying to end Slashmaster's World Championship reign (based on dreams and nightmares feud suggestion by someone here). Depending on the outcome of that feud either Arizona Chance or Hammerhead will step up as the next challenger.
Jobber Joe is currently next in line for a shot at Keith Blood's Cruiserweight Championship after somehow going to a time limit draw in a random singles match against the champ. If he does well he might get more of a push in the future. I previously tried doing the same thing with Pop King, while Pelvis was Cruiserweight champ, but he wasn't able to beat his father in law.

My personal list, some I promoted/demoted so I'd have more feuds in the opener and mid carder only matches.
Main Event - Arizona, Mr Tycoon, Kannibal Keith, Exotic Rick.
Upper - Dizzy 90s(would main event with good enough feud), Mercenary 80s. Drool.
Big Thuggie. Secret Agent.
Mid - Dangerzone(for iron mask feud to use in mid card matches.) Dizzy 80s. Jesse Wild 90s (to balance Shattered Neon match)
Lower/Jobber - Kid Chameleon(for low card feud matches with Yuppie)

I would love if Legendary Mercenary’s draw power was high specifically in his pop rating, and comparing it through other cards and their pop, but I know my boy had the biggest pops in all over Canada, was his pop loud in the states lol?

The Kid bump was initially a failure because he drops to jobber status but after this last update it works fine. |

Wait. Hold up.. if I demote a uppermid, does he card status drop to mid carder? This would definitely help me get some more mid card feuds and possibly even openers if so.

It drops the push raring by 3 I believe or maybe 4. Some you have to double demote/promote. So if you demote Kid Chameleon, he will drop to jobber status and you can use his feud with Yuppie in Opener Only matches. The same goes for promoting Dangerzone to mid card with Iron Mask. |

Another one that I’ve recently discovered is that pushing the foil grunge brothers makes them all the way to upper midcard, which makes their feuds all the better as well as giving you access to stats for a budget-minded playet
