We might also get absolutely nothing, since the announcement was made on April Fools' Day

“Massive” tends to evoke the idea of something that really changes how the game is played. So, if I had to put a bet on it, my thinking is something along the lines of having separate save files or something that creates a sense of a more competitive in-game universe.
The only thing suggested that I wouldn’t really want is a 2000s era expansion. Given how we have the monthly updates that introduce new characters in the game, I’d rather see them just keep building on 8MWR for the time being.

I think a new era would be cool but if it's more things that can enhance our Feds, that would be AWESOME!
I would love to see more freedom in setting up our shows in the order we want, some new PPV or weekly show venues, some 8 bit music added for certain wrestlers as they battle, tag teams for ladies, and really anything else lol
The devs haven't gave a bad update yet and every one of them has successfully made the game better so I'll be happy with anything!

If ever there was going to be a 00’s update, now would be the time for it. With the March Madness Tournament messing up our normal timeline of news for monthly updates, I could see them skipping a month to roll out this new surprise and the April 8th announcement being “Coming in May.”

2000s update seems likely, but I’m hoping it’s a fundamental change to the gameplay. Something to make it more of a booker-sim with more variables and strategy involved. It does get monotonous when you are on your 10th play through, though all the updates have kept things fresh!
I think signing wrestlers/cards to contracts would add a huge element of strategy and excitement to the game. Instead of buying Dude Brohan indefinitely, you sign him to a two year contract. Any wrestlers you don’t sign are fair game for the other promotions, and their ratings/attendance will reflect that. Now you’re competing with the other promotions in the game and maybe there’s a way you eventually can run them out of business and take over their territory, with the ultimate goal of taking over all the promotions by the time you finish the game. Conversely, if you don’t play your cards right, another promotion can run you out of business, game over.

I still have a small list of IRL guys I want to see released for the 80s and 90s which I’ve listed somewhere on the forums such as Tags, Fueds, Cruiserweights, and Midcarders (can drop some UpperMids to Mid) as there is still so much potential with our currents. With that being said if I recall correctly the release of 90s happened before the Average Guy and Flawless cards. Whatever happens I hope it’s more exciting then just an April Fools joke!

I really hope it's not a new era. I used to be a fan of the idea, but now that I thought about, it's just too much.
I hope it's a competitive gameplay against the other brands. Heck, throw in a draft if you want to.

If there was a 00s released I’m sure no one would be upset. I think we all just want to expand on the potential of the 80-90s first.
Edit: I could most definitely seeing a 00s version Announcement released for Summer!

I myself do not want a 00 edition. But if it happens, it is not a game ender to me.

What if it's a CAW app that will let you import into the game and share wrestlers with the community?
If not that my money's on a (purchasable) storyline system.
