Ooooh, that’s a bad one. I had a reign of terror from Lazer and Flex that only went about 6 months. It wasn’t Mega Dudes bad (just don’t, that’s all I’ll say) but I had intended them as transitional champs lol.
I beat them with my custom team “Heads of State”. King V and El Presidente (with a focused Queen of mean of course). But it did take them 2 tries.

In my first playthrough I had Average Guy and Samson as my Tag Champs for years, defending the titles for over 100 times. The only reason they were a team to begin with was that they both needed one more skill point.
I didn't have the Screwjob card at the time and none of my other guys were skilled enough to get the titles off them, so I was stuck with those champions untill the end of 1999. I bought the Screwjob card first chance I got afterwards.
