Hey everyone! First time poster here. I’ve been playing the game for about a month and a half and I love it.
When I started the 90s, I really wanted Chet Skye’s HFK card. Throughout the 80s he was the ultimate underdog, and despite Neon Express winning the tag titles more times than I can count, it was always an upset when Chet would win the TV or CW titles. The roof of Hammerstein Ballroom was blown off when he won the Cruiserweight Cup in ‘87. But he never won the big one, and I definitely planned on using him in the main event scene in the 90s...but his card would never show up!
It was 1995 in my game and I didn’t want to go any further without him. I even DM’d the devs on twitter to jokingly ask them to give him to me because I was having no luck finding him. They suggested I use the premium shop, which I did...and got Dude Brohan.
But the very next day after that silly twitter DM, HFK’s main event card popped up in the store! I immediately bought him and was more than happy. Was this a coincidence or were the devs looking out for me? I’ll never know, but this morning I checked the store and ... his legendary card was available! What?? After so many refreshes and him never showing up...BOTH his 90s cards appear in the span of a week? After I jokingly asked the devs to just give him to me?
Whatever it was, I’m obviously very happy to have both his cards now.
