Foil Question

How do I know if a card is foil? Are they the ones without the character's name at the bottom and the green/pink 'lasers' behind them? Or does that mean it's another set? I'm curious because I'm trying to make the Cold War feud, and it's not working. My Max Attack! card fits that description.

Yep, those are the foils. They should look like close-up style art and have a bronze/foil look to the color.

Unlockables only work with regular (non-foil) cards.
