Is anyone else watching this show? It's on Viceland and it's about tragic stories in wrestling's past. There are five episodes so far and they are way better than I expected at first.
Episodes:
1. The Match Made In Heaven (About Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth) 2. The Montreal Screwjob 3. The Killing of Bruiser Brody 4. The Last of the Von Erichs 5. The Mysterious Death of Gorgeous Gino
Still to come:
6. The Fabulous Moolah
I already knew most of the things mentioned in the first two episodes, but they were still very interesting. The rest of the episodes are about events that I didn't know much about, but the way they tell these tales is incredibly compelling.

I’ve watched all but Gino Hernandez one. I think they are pretty well made. You don’t get many wrestling documentaries that are completely free of WWE involvement these days. The out-of-focus dramatizations can often feel cheesy, but that’s really my only complaint. I haven’t picked up a ton of new information, but I know almost next to nothing about Gino Hernandez, so I’ll pick up some new information for sure. Very interested in seeing the Moolah one since WWE would never touch that one with a 10-foot pole and I feel like this is the first time that her dubious legacy will be covered through a mainstream production. They’re all worth a watch if you care at all about the history of pro wrestling.

Watched them all over the last 2 days ...very impressed with how candidly they all spoke and who they got to talk on it.
The Gino Hernandez one was great and the Von Erichs one was still heartbreaking as the old WCCW documentary from way back was.

I didn't watch wrestling back in the 80s and 90s, but caught up on it later on. Things like the Macho Man's history and the Montreal Screwjob are mentioned often enough, but a lot of the darker behind the scenes things don't get a lot of coverage. I'm really glad they made this show and curious to find out what else will get covered down the line. I think the Chris Benoit story is an obvious candidate if they can get people to talk about it.
