What's the plan for maxing out wrestlers? Just keep using the same ones over and over with same manager card and throwing in different stat matches like Lumberjack?
I've gotten some 5* and 4* segsments, but highest match has been a few 4* matches. 3* star card has been my highest. I usually do a lot of highest rated vs highest rated. Should I utlize feuds cards more? Tough slot from using feud cards vs sponsors

I’ve noticed that if the wrestler wins and has a high match rating they will get the +1 skill. For pop and mic I notice it’s better to use different segments and add wrestlers that will help boost the segment like for mic spots I’ll do a mic spot that has maybe 2-3 people and the other two being bigmouths or showman with high mic skill. And for a skit I would use say someone like Dr. B and put him and the wrestler I’m trying to max out in the pumping iron skit and hope he gets the +1 pop.

Literally every 5* match ive had was while playing feud cards w/o using any match type cards if I remember correctly. I could very well be wrong though because I forget a lot.

As far as maxing out characters goes....it's gonna depend on where you're at in the game. I've never really seen much difference in catering a match to a wrestlers style as far as the odds of raising skill. If you're deck is pretty big for a given era and you have a lot of unused cards week in-week out that you'd like to max out, easiest thing to do is throw them in a Battle Royal...you can alternate between 10 and 20 man or a women's battle royal so you don't get the repeat penalty. It'll take some toll on your weekly revenue but you can usually get anywhere between 2-7 cards up in skill.
When you're down to your last...I dunno 10 cards you wanna raise skill for...then you wanna take the time to match them up with opponents of equal skill, preferably opposed alignment, and possibly cater the match type...definitely make sure you use the manager cards correctly to keep skill even on both sides.
Now as far as 5* cards...the biggest issue will always be the jobber/opener matches...you're really gonna want to go for "FnF" (Foil & Feud) too get anywhere close to 4* let alone 5*. Maybe with a high value flavor cards you could tip it. But even if you you manage that the amount of jobber opener feuds compared to other ranks is pretty low...so you'll have to book creatively in order to not repeat things.

I can't add a battle Royale match to any card can I? If so, how?

You need to buy an additional segment for that week...I bought one for weeks 2 and 3....that lets you add anything you want, any type of match or mic spot or skit.

No particular reason TBH...but from a storyline POV it makes more sense to have the extra freedom to book matches closer to the PPV if you play that way. I myself play for fun and to 100% it...which I'm still not close to as I'd like to be LOL.

I was thinking the 1st was 100k got show one 2nd is 200k for show two etc. Didn't realize we could buy 4 additional segments for each show. Such a bummer but it's my fault.

At least you're closer to the "Stacked Cards" achievement.
Every silver lining and all that!
