80s MANIA WRESTLING: 90s EXTREME is coming in 2017!

Happy Holiday Season, 80s Maniacs! You might have heard some rumblings but we are here to officially announce that we are hard at work on the true sequel to 80s Mania Wrestling!

We also wanted to share some tidbits about what is on the way!

The working title of the new game is 80s MANIA WRESTLING: 90s EXTREME!

8MW:9E will include ALL the features and cards from the original 8MW game and add in many new game features and hundreds of brand new 90s themed concepts and cards!

8MW:9E will transfer over your collected tokens, cash and cards from your original 8MW game save file!

8MW:9E will store all user data on an external server and your data will be accessible from multiple user devices!

8MW:9E will allow us to grant gifts directly to a user's collection. Stuff like tokens, game cash and exclusive cards!

8MW:9E will feature a streamlined way to swipe and flip through your massive card collections!

8MW:9E will include an in-depth stat tracking system that features stuff like expanded Title Histories, Win-Loss records and Year End wrestler awards!

There are even MORE brand new features and improvements that we can't talk about just yet but rest assured that the 80s Mania universe is on it's way to being bigger and better than ever!

WHEN, you ask? SOON! Our goal is Spring 2017.

Here's a look at some new characters included in the upcoming 80s Mania Wrestling: 90s Extreme!

The manager on the right is brand new, but the wrestlers in the middle and on the left were featured in the original 8MW game. Safe to say their gimmicks have evolved in the new decade.

Can you name them?

There's LOTS MORE where this came from so get excited, 80s MANIACS! 90s EXTREME will bring plenty of totally awesome ATTITUDE!

I can't tell you how glad I am that this game made it and is getting such an awesome sequel already. I just recently found it and I am loving it. And since I am a 90s kid (well, technically I was born in 1994, but I live in Croatia and everything comes a few years later there so...) and my fondest memories of wrestling are from watching WCW Nitro. Can't wait for the sequel and for the next teaser!

I would love to see some special Pay Per View matches. Fatal Four Way matches. Six Man Tag Team. Endurance Matches (entier PPV is a winner of one match goes to fight the next opponent). Royal Rumble (10 men come in, only one can be left standing).

True. But for many, you have to make sure you have enough wrestlers available. So these matches should be optional.
