Sadly Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka passed away today.
He was 73 and battling Stomach Cancer.

Sadly Snuka's best days where in the early 80's before I found the WWF. His run in the late 80's and early to mid 90's lacked, though he always wanted to give back to the fans. He's had a tough time especially near the end. Now he's with Piper and hopefully he'll see that coconut coming this time around.

I still remember watching him diving off the top of the steel cage. The very match that inspired Mick Foley to get into wrestling. I remember it well. Great memories.

A little late to the party but Snuka's splash was LEGENDARY. Dude completely flattened out in the air and looked like he glided to the mat. |
