At 11th and Milwaukee, in the "South Milwaukee" neighborhood, on June 8th, will be the Crusherfest, to celebrate the unveiling of the statue of our native wrestling son, Da Crusher. If your coming, come and polka all night.

The statue looks great, with Da Crusher in his wrestling shorts, carrying a keg over his right shoulder and room between his torso and his left arm for a headlock (just be careful not to get your head stuck).

So, no joke, I read this a few days ago and immediately thought of my youngest son when you mentioned getting your head stuck. Yesterday I get a picture from my father-in-law. It's both my boys hanging out with Da Crusher and where's my youngest? Yup, he's in a headlock. Luckily he did not get stuck. The statue looks fantastic. |
