Honestly, looking at the wrestlers revealed so far, I'm thinking Modern Mania Wrestling is being done with original wrestlers that are not supposed to represent real wrestlers or pop culture the way the 80s and 90s of 8MWR is.

Honestly, looking at the wrestlers revealed so far, I'm thinking Modern Mania Wrestling is being done with original wrestlers that are not supposed to represent real wrestlers or pop culture the way the 80s and 90s of 8MWR is. I think references is kinda their thing. Like Monstro is obviously Thanos. |

Id say there an amalgamations of various characters, stereotypes and real world influences, pretty much like the 80's game, albiet Dude Brohan, Buzzsaw, and a few others are clearly certain former real life wrestlers, for the most part there a bit of this n that to make up the character, imo.
