Wasn't sure if I should put this here or the writers room, but if anyone could update me on all the goings on that happened while I was off that would be swell. You've been gone since, what - late 2021? You'd think I'd be better at this. Obviously the title histories will give you a bit of insight into what's happened overall. Arizona Chance recently retired after dropping the World Heavyweight Title to Winter Hex. We had a women's division for a while, but since it comprised of mainly alts we scrapped it in favor of the Openweight Championship. Myself and Penguino broke the record for longest tag title reign previously set by Chesterton Shredsbury & Pierre The Enormous. Chesterton turned heel, became Chad Shredsbury, and went on a hell of a singles run before succumbing to an injury of some sort. He's still around, but under an alias. Anyone else want to jump in an add whatever else? It might be easier for people to tell their own stories than for me to poorly summarize. |

That’s a lot of history to recap. The best bet would be to check up on the sticky threads— character bios, title histories would be a good place to start.
But the biggest things not covered there would be who’s allied with who currently. A couple months ago, Winter Hex, Conor Caine, Mack Caliber and Omega Satyros formed Domination Inc, and since then they’ve captured the world title and tag titles. Penguino is the current Openweight champ, and he’s got his NPC Johnny Kobra. Red Pirate Rogers and The Greatest Wrestler of DOOM are allied, and Thumper Moore III is loosely allied with them. Duke Mongoose is heel-ish who I guess isn’t allied with anyone currently? Lord Taylor Thorin has his assistant Tembleberry, and may or may not be allied with Lady Diana Gallus. Pierre has Troglo and a talking teddy bear. We’ve still got Daisy Turner, Artemis, and a couple others I’m forgetting hanging around as well. Yuppie VP, Dyno, and Arizona Chance have all retired.
And then there’s the newcomer, Bayou Burl…

The guys have basically covered it all I think, but I just wanna formally introduce myself and say hey: I started in maybe quarter 2 of 2022, so I missed you by a couple of months but I'm looking forward to working together and seeing what you have planned for Bayou Burl!

I am greatly sorry for my absence as of recently (especially since I am the World Champion). I'm going to try my best to show up and remember Wednesday night is JWA night. Once again, I am sorry

I am so sorry I haven't been able to get anything done. I am VERY sick and today was the worst with a sinus infection. Thank you to Omega for getting us started, I'm not sure if I'm able to get anything done as this is very much clunking my brain & writing stuff abilities. So I do apologise, I hope to be back by next show and I'll try to push through this

Have gone through the old threads and caught up a little bit on the Chance Vs. Slashmaster lore. My skimming has told me that there was a match planned for January 2023 that got postponed, only for Arizona to retire before it could happen. Fast forward to now and Slash has finally come back and will (Presumably) torment 'Zona and his family to goad him into coming out of retirement.
I'm genuinely excited for the impending showdown. It's amazing what a good story can do to you even when its told through something as simple as a message board roleplay.
