CHANCE: I got beat fair and square. It happens to all of us, and tonight, Penguino was the better man… or bird.
TONI: Is it that simple?
CHANCE: Look, what do you want me to say? Sometimes breaks go somebody’s way. And to be honest, I’m happy for him. He’s been begging for a match with me since he got here. He earned that match and he took full advantage. My hat is off to him.
TONI: There’s talk that Penguino has been dreaming of a match with you since he hatched. Do you think he wanted it more tonight?
CHANCE: Not at all. My only consolation is that I managed to hit the Last Crusade on that giant buffoon. When I buy Penguino a drink tonight, we’ll toast to teaming up to teach him a lesson.

You'll never know when you'll need it." Stanley and Rebecca enter Killies with Penguino in toe, and then spotted a poster of banned people. It kinda surprised him that Penguino wasn't actually on the list, but Chief Buffalo was. (He also spotted what appeared to be some White Out brand correction fluid on the list of names under Chief Buffalo, so someone took the liberty of removing Penguino from the list...perhaps Arizona?) Stanley orders for himself and Rebecca a series of sushi and some sake, and orders for Penguino a tuna plate of sushi. "What's your favorite drink? Your first round is on me. I also need to tell you, you did well tonight. You got some good attention from Arizona, and myself at least. I have no idea about Tommy thoe." |

Arizona strolls into Killies.
“Tough luck, champ. You’ll get em next time.” Jackson, as always, was encouraging.
“Jax, I don’t even feel bad about this one. We put on a great show. We both had a chance to get some licks in on that big tub of lard that put you in the hospital. Though a victory would be nice, it’s the cherry on top, not the whole bowl of ice cream. I’ll take… what do you have from the Southern Hemisphere?”
After settling on a Starward 10-year, Arizona looks over his shoulder and sees Stan and Penguino talking. “Hey Jax, it looks like Stan already picked up his first drink. Next one is on me, and let him know it’s for trash disposal. I think he’ll pick up what I mean.”

Toni Cruise: Ladies and gentlemen, I’m here with the Dutch Destroyer, Tommy End. Tommy, tonight’s match didn’t go quite the way you wanted it to.
Tommy End: That’s a bit of an understatement. I definitely should have been more cautious in my approach to this match, but that was poor planning on my part.
Toni Cruise: Watching that match, it felt like you were more focused on hurting Duke than actually winning the match.
Tommy End: Yeah, I was, actually. I knew Arizona had faced Duke in the past, so I asked him for some pointers. He gave me those pointers, but he also told me that Duke’s a bit of a POS, both in and out of the ring. I don’t like guys who use their reputation to bully people, so I might or might not have been trying to injure him. And I’ll take being barred from competing for the title if it means doing enough damage to hurt that guy’s chances of winning it.
Toni Cruise: Sounds like you’re rooting for Mack, then.
Tommy End: I am.
Toni Cruise: One last question then. At Fortune and Glory, The Ronin face Big Waves with your tag titles on the line. How are you and Arizona preparing for Pierre and Chesterton?
Tommy End: Both myself and Arizona know Pierre pretty well. I’ve faced him quite a few times, and Zona used to tag with him. We know his strengths and his weaknesses, and we’ve planned for him accordingly. Chesterton is new to us, however. I’m going to be joining the commentary team next week to scout Chesterton, and we’ll form a strategy from there. Zona and I have also been brainstorming on some sort of tag team finishing move, which we’ll reveal at Fortune and Glory.
Toni Cruise: Well, Tommy, thank you for your time.
