A JWA camera crew has been sent into the field for an exclusive interview. In the distance a large, hulking figure can be seen, only illuminated by the light of the full moon. As they nervously approach they see it is the Slashmaster. He’s methodically digging a grave, each scoop of dirt falling with a hollow thud. The cameraman slowly moves closer as Slashmaster pauses, resting on his shovel and staring down into the freshly dug grave. He lets out a low, almost disappointed sigh before he begins to speak, his voice a deep, menacing growl. You know, when I came back… I expected more. But here we are… with little over a week to go. Not one soul in that locker room has had the guts to answer my challenge. Not one has the spine to step into my world, to face me on Friday the 13th.
Pathetic...
There was a time when the JWA had heroes… Men who would stand up, who would fight the darkness. But now? Now, they’re either too scared… or they’re just gone.
I remember one of those so-called heroes. A man who had the heart of a lion… and the ego to match. Arizona Chance. We were supposed to dance, you and I. Oh, yes… I remember that. We were supposed to clash, to tear each other apart. But that battle never happened, did it? No Arizona, I was taken from this plane of existence before it could happen. It took me a long time to return from that dark place, but when I did you were gone. Just like all the other 'heroes.' You rode off into the sunset, and I… I was left waiting. Waiting for the day when I’d finally get my hands on you.
Well, I’m done waiting.
Arizona Chance, wherever you are… it’s time. It’s time for you to step out of the shadows and face me. You can’t hide forever. You see, this Friday the 13th isn’t just about another victim. It’s about you, Arizona. It always was.
Because if you don’t show up… if you don’t face me like a man… there will be consequences. And I don’t just mean for you. No, no, no… there are others who will pay the price for your cowardice. Slashmaster stands up and steps aside, revealing a tombstone hidden behind him. He runs his hand over it, brushing away the dirt, and the camera zooms in on the name carved into the stone. “Veronica Chance.”

"Run The World" By Beyonce plays, and Lady Gallus makes her way to the ring to the cheers of fans, in the same business-y attire she had worn her first time on Mania.
Gallus: First thing's first, I'd like to apologize to the Glory audience. I had been debating for the last week where to have this talk with the fans, and it felt appropriate to have it here. Now, let's have a chat.
The fans quiet the cheers, focused on what was being said.
Gallus: It was just under 5 months ago when I first stepped foot into JWA. I had no idea if you all would embrace me or reject me. I played up the gimmick of me being Artemis's business advisor. I introduced myself as Lady Diana Gallus. At the time, I had hoped it would've been a temporary situation to help out a friend who was dealing with mental turmoil. But, a lot has changed these past 5 months. when She takes off the business casual attire, revealing the gear she wore at Super Glory.
Gallus: She proved to not want to deal with her mental turmoil, instead focusing it in on me. I took the name "Diana Gallus" as an attempt to honor a friend I was worried for, knowing that if she didn't play her cards right, she might have been fired from the last company she had a chance in. There's a reason why, unlike say Black Cat, Artemis never appeared in AOE while she held the Hardcore Title. While the rumor mills didn't touch on it, she was released by AOE and came to JWA after a second incident where she took liberties in a dark match. But she's made her bed, and while I want to believe Diana is somewhere in there, it's not my job to free her from her own mistakes. A lot has changed these past 5 months. I've changed these past 5 months. I came into this company after not having a proper match for 4 years. I'd like to thank Diablo for helping me get back into in ring shape, and I'd like to thank you all for standing by me as I built up to who I've become here. I've become stronger, more confident, and more independent. I hope Artemis can finally accept a loss, and I can move on from her. As I am now, Lady Gallus, I will look to continue the path I've started on. Whether that path leads to Openweight glory, a tag partner by my side, or perhaps J-1 success, you've all been here for me, and I look to be here for you.
She turns to leave, fans cheering her on, when she's struck by a kick from Artemis.
Artemis: You locked me up for months, you don't get to walk away from me like that. You and Thorin might've taken advantage of an unplanned tag and Thimbles being untrained as a wrestler, but you don't get to absorb that hollow victory and walk away. Not until I've made you shatter.

The ring is set up for a contract signing.
Chet Desmond: At this time JWA Mania is proud to host a face to face between this week’s competitors on Glory starting with Conor Caine!
(Caine enters with the rest of Domination Inc with Dr Zamboni ambling aimlessly behind them. The crew stands scowling at the entry way [save Zamboni wearing a goofy grin])
And his opponent Red Pirate Rogers!
(Rogers enters alone, smiling and high diving alongside a professional looking older woman in a white lab coat)
Chet: Gentlemen, you know what to do…
(Rogers steps up first)
RPR: gentlemen…ladies…(looking at D, Inc) scoundrels, you all know I’m not one for speeches. (Laughter from the crowd and eye rolling from D Inc) but I want to take a moment to introduce a fine woman with impeccable credentials: Dr Aubrey St. Clair, professor at University of Pittsburgh Center for Sports Medicine. Holder of degrees from John’s Hopkins, Harvard, and Michigan. Nationally board certified and regularly called upon to testify on CTE, and consult the IOC, the WBA, and LMNOP…(fans applaud)…and to prove she’s unbiased, could you tell the folks how we met.
Dr St Clair: you tried to commandeer my family’s boat.
RPR: and how did that turn out?
Dr St Clair: my wife hit you upside the head with a kayak paddle.
RPR: and so if you could describe me in a word please…
Dr St Clair: a bit of an idiot really.
RPR: perfect! (He signs and offers the pen to Conor)

Conor, decked on in a gaudy silk shirt and sunglasses, stares at the pen, then to Rogers, and back to the pen. He lifts a mic laid at the table beside him, leaving Rogers holding the pen.
CAINE: Rogers, before we go any further I want to say this so we’re clear: I hate absolutely everything about you. I hate your little red outfit; I hate that self-satisfied grin you have slapped across your punchable face; I hate that high horse you rode in on; and I hate how much you love to be in my business. I hate you so much that I’ll do anything to end you, and that includes agreeing to this trap you and Whistler have clearly set up to try and discredit me. So you can stand out here with, what’s your name lady? Doesn’t matter, don’t care. You walk out with Dr “My Daddy Has A Yacht” and rhyme off her credentials like I’m supposed to give a damn. Brother, you could walk out here with a canine stitched into medical scrubs and a stethoscope for a dog collar and not only would I laugh because that’s hilarious, I’d sign on for a medical examination by Dr Licks His Crotch because, like I said, I’d do anything for a chance to finally put an end to your career!
Conor snaps the pen off Red, who just chuckles, and signs on the dotted line.

A section of this weekend's Mania is dedicated to the airing of a sit-down interview with Conor Caine and Mick LeRay.
LERAY: Conor, you asked for this interview to clear up some confusion over the ruse you've been playing on the entire JWA these past few months...
CAINE: That's right Mick. When I was recovering from knee surgery I was watching JWA and felt we were missing a real despicable heel to bring a fresh dynamic to the roster. The longer I sat at home, the more I convinced myself that this was the right thing to do for business and if a bad enough guy wasn't going to show up, I'd thrown down with enough scumbags to be able to play the part well enough.
LERAY: But Conor, we have booking agents and talent scouts to make those decisions. If management felt like you did, they would have drafted in the talent that you described. What you did wasn't only insubordinate, it was frankly gorssly egotisitical.
CAINE (looking down):...I can't argue with you there Mick.
LERAY: And not only did you go into business for yourself, you dragged wrestlers like Omega Satyros and Mack Caliber into your scheme. They aren't choirboys by any stretch, but woukd they have behaved just as reprehensively if you weren't there to consolidate their efforts? Together you made the lives of your fellow wrestlers hell - for months!
CAINE: I did. I told myself at the time that they could take whatever we threw at them, that this was the nature of the business. But, looking back, none of them deserved what we did to them... what I had us do to them.
LERAY: You who didn't even truly believe in what you were doing. And in regards to what you say about them being able to take what you threw at them, it doesn't look like your own stablemate Mack Caliber is fairing too well after dealing with you, never mind all the others you antagonized.
Conor doesn't answer, he just bows his head.
LERAY: Just one thing we don't know is, if your whole steroid drama was just another sick prank, how did you fake your fast recovery and acts of strength?
CAINE: That was just slight of hand. I spread rumours before I returned that I was rushing my rehab when, in reality, I was far along in my recovery. My doctor gave me the okay to return to light duty, so I knew I'd need a tag partner to carry my slack, which is where Omega came in: I coud share the load in matches and, being heel, I could do less actual wrestling and rely on cheapshots to protect myself. When I was full recovered I pretended instead that I was hurt, making my "feats of strength" look all the more unbelieveable, when really they were just me working at 100%, which nobody has seen in over a year now.
LERAY: So your use of Omega Satyros is even more manipluative than we thought: you were using him to protect yourself while recovering. I'm almost sympathetic of him. I have to say Conor, your intentions for this whole scheme might have been noble, but everything you did to achieve it - everything - was grossly manipulative and conniving, to your partners as well as your victims. I'm frankly shocked that you could put this plan in motion at all, let alone pursue so long. If Red Pirate Rogers hadn't forced an end to things, I wonder how far you would have went. You've fallen greatly in my estimation, as well as with your colleagues and the fans.
CAINE: I know that Mick. I knew it all going in to this, and I thought I could be okay with it, but I admit I'm ashamed of things I did and I won't rest til I put it right. The first part of that is stomping out the dying embers of Domination Inc this week on Glory by beating Omega and Black Cat - and if I have to do that alone, I will.

In the parking lot the king of games is next to Marty Mimosa the king of games: Connor you will be my rival next week in glory but you know I don't want to give you a horrible humiliation when I beat you so I give you the opportunity to retire or you will suffer the consequences. The vignette ends and we pull out to see Conor Caine standing backstage with Toni Cruise, having just watched The King of Games on a monitor.CRUISE: Your thoughts, Conor? Conor faces the camera.CAINE: King of Games, I know you’ve been around here for a few weeks but since we haven’t met I wanna take this opportunity to tell you about myself: My name is Conor Caine, “The Relentless” Conor Caine, and what makes me relentless is how, when I lace up a fresh pair of size 13s, I don’t take them off until I’ve worn the leather out kicking somebody’s ass - and this week on Glory, it’s your ass in line for a kicking! You claim to be the King Of Games? Well you must be playing if you think you can even hang with me, let alone stand a chance of humiliating me, in the ring! And unfortunately for you, I don’t play games. You see, I come from New England where, historically, we haven’t been too welcoming to Monarchs, and that ain’t about to change any time soon: Despite what you might think “Your Majesty,” our match ain’t gonna be a cake walk for you… it’s gonna be a tea party! Get ready, or get gone. Caine exits frame and we fade out.

"Break My Soul" hits and Lady Gallus makes her way out. There's a somber look on her face and bandages around her midsection.
Ingrid: Well. I wish I could be out here, cutting a promo on Bayou Burl before next week's matches. But, instead, I'm out here to say goodbye. It's been a wild ride for the past six months. Had a match for the Women's title, got a crack in the Openweight Title tournament, had a stint as a secret admirer, and had to fight someone who was my best friend. This all has been a dream come true. I'd like to thank Kip Whistler for giving me the opportunity. I'd like to thank most of my opponents, such as Daisy Turner, DOOM, and Penguino. And I'd like to thank all of you for getting behind me, none of this could've happened without your support.
The crowd breaks out chanting "Thank You Ingrid!"
Ingrid: I appreciate the love. And while I'd love to keep this all positive, I have to give one last message to Artemis.
The crowd boos at Artemis's mention while Ingrid clears her throat.
Ingrid: Artemis. Congrats. You did it. And all it took was Queen Amana cheating for you. Just like that first title match against Stella Dove. The one that got eyes on you from the big leagues. In spite all these years and all the mud you've dragged her name in, Amana chose for you to bear her legacy when you can barely bear your own. I have no doubt that you break. The J-1 is grueling. We saw what it did to Omega last year, which you sat back and applauded. This year I can only imagine the same happens for you. But unlike Omega, you have nowhere to go, no place to break more. If your "Shattered" right now, I can only imagine this tournament will completely pulverize any semblance you have left. This business will crush you, and once JWA has cast you out for another outburst, you have no one left to go. And I hope Queen Amana will be willing to give you comfort, because I never want to see you again. I'm done with you Diana. I'm done with your games. I'm done with your paranoia. I'm done with your name. I'm walking out of JWA with my head held high. You didn't break me. That'll keep you up at night, knowing that the one goal you truly had will never be accomplished. JWA, I've had a great time, and I hope this isn't goodbye from the industry forever.
Break My Soul sounds and Ingrid walks back through the curtain, waving the fans goodbye.

Post by "Lord" Taylor Thorin on Nov 4, 2024 17:21:11 GMT -5
As Gallus pauses before the curtain to wave at the fans, Taylor Thorin appears behind her. He's looking in good shape, refreshed and clearly comfortable with his life currently.
She turns around to see Thorin, who grins at her. He beckons her forward and, after taking one last look at the JWA fans, she follows. The camera goes with them. Thorin leads her to the roof of the JWA arena where a helicopter is waiting.
Gallus turns to Thorin with a questioning look on her face.
THORIN: "I didn't let that traitorous son of a bitch control everything. I kept a lot in reserve, including a pad in Miami I think you'll like which overlooks the coast. It is now yours and this..." (Thorin gestures to the helicopter) "...will take you there. Just a small thanks for helping me out after everything. There's also a substantial fund for you to invest in your future. Thanks again D, best of luck."
With this, Diana grins and hugs Thorin and turns to board the helicopter. The last we see is Thorin turning to walk back into the arena and the helicopter flying off.

Desmond: Ladies and Gentlemen, we're getting ready here for our main event of the evening as Divine Hubris is set to take on the AOE Tag Champions.
Puttergill: I can't believe just how much The Lord's Court has done over in AOE. Henry Evermore currently the TV title holder, Rhiannon nabbing the Ladies' Title, Claymore snagging the Cruiserweight belt, and Sir Wallace continuing to hold onto the Hardcore belt since taking it from Black Cat, as well as picking up the tag belts alongside PaniK, dubbing themselves The Keepers of the Court.
Desmond: And while Black Cat has gotten his first take of gold in JWA proper, he may still be disappointed that the Hardcore title isn't on the line tonight.
The full Lord's Court is at ringside for the Keepers. "Back in Black" hits and Black Cat emerges alone onto the entrance ramp.
Puttergill: Where's Omega?
Desmond: I'm not sure, I know he was frustrated with how round 3 of the Pinnacle finished up, but I wouldn't expect him to leave his partner high and dry like this.
Black Cat takes the mic as the crowd hails boos at him.
Black Cat: Yeah, yeah. Keep showing exactly who you all are. With all of this disrespect, who could blame Omega for being at his limit with how ungrateful just about everything and everyone associated with JWA is for him. King of Games should've been disqualified twice over after round 3, not just using Jet Set Strutter's ring against Omega, but committing the most heinous act against a wrestler you can commit in stealing his mask. Jay Fairweather should be suspended for how shoddy his officiating was in that match.
Black Cat takes a moment to calm himself before he loses coherence in his own frustration.
Black Cat: As such, Omega is refusing to dignify the corruption of JWA by wasting more of his time with the Pinnacle. And he has asked me to take his place for the sake of not letting the record books go down with forfeits beside his name. I hope management won't try to force this issue and make things worse.
Black Cat drops the mic and heads up the ramp. The Lord's Court looks confused and annoyed. Diablo comes out to talk with Black Cat, pointing to the ring. Black Cat shoves him off and heads to the back. Diablo's left holding his head in frustration.
Desmond: Wait, we're supposed to have a match...
Puttergill: You wanna go help Diablo get Black Cat back down here, and eat a Lights Out DDT while you're at it? No? Thought so.

Omega Satyros... You used to be the Closer But now it seems you've chosen to slam the door shut on yourself. You came into this tournament with ambition with fire with something to prove. And yet, after one loss—one stumble—you collapse under the weight of your own ego. A man who can't endure defeat is no man at all, Satyros.
And now you send a substitute? Your little sidekick, Black Cat? The one whose greatest achievement is being in your shadow? Management might humor this stunt, but it doesn't matter. Black Cat, you're neither predator nor prey. You're nothing more than a black mark on this tournament.
If you step into the J1 in Omega's place, you will serve as a warning to all who try to flee from me. I don’t care about your story of clawing your way up the card. I don’t care about your heart, your grit, or your partnership with a quitter. All I care about is that when the bell rings, you’ll learn what real pain feels like.
As for you, Satyros... You ran. You quit. But know this—there is no escaping me. Whether you’re in this tournament or hiding behind your tag partner, you are marked. Your mask will be ripped away, your legacy burned, and your name forgotten. When I win the J1, when I claim the World Title, I’ll make sure your place in history is one of shame."
Run if you must. Send your little Cat. But in the end, Omega Satyros... I will close your story.

In pwn the king of games fights alone against paper chaser for the pwn couple titles.
Mr Guy: This is crazy, the king of games is alone fighting against Paper Chaser but the numerical difference has surpassed him.
John Cool: Well, it's bad luck that Jet Set Strutter was attacked before today's show, and Marty Mimosa isn't even here to support him today.
That's when Dude Brohan's music plays and he quickly goes to the king of games' corner and asks for the change while Marty Mimosa and a bandaged jet set strutter arrive and tell the king of games to trust him.
Mr Guy: Is it possible that the legendary Dude Brohan has returned from retirement to help the king of games and the king takes over from Dude Brohan and attacks Paper Chaser with a mastery?
john cool: dude brohan prepares the Big Bro Leg Drop and connects richi b and the count reaches 3
