Arizona debarks his plane. What looks like Kanji script is adorning the walls of the airport. “Arizona-san?” A young man maybe 20 years of age clad in all white greets him with a handshake and a bow. Arizona bows respectfully, while the young man’s head seems to almost touch the ground. “My master wishes me to tell you that you have shown great wisdom in seeking his counsel. He has agreed to teach you what you need to know for a future favor.” “That is the agreement. Will you show me to the transportation to your dojo?” Arizona followed the young man through the busy airport. OOC: Long Square I presume?

OOC: You’re going to have to explain Long Square, Stan. No idea what that is.
After a seven hour drive through green mountains, across an idyllic stream, and to a remote forested valley, hidden from above by a mist rolling in off the mountains, Arizona’s driver came to a stop. “Thank you for using the drive to prepare yourself for the ordeal through silent meditation, Arizona-san. Perhaps my master’s faith in you is well placed. From here, we walk.”
Arizona climbed out of the back seat wearing a backpack and hiking gear. A steep path wound up the side of the mountain through the mist. Still in silence, Chance and his guide began the ascent. The only sounds to be heard were the chirping of small birds, and the soft crunch of footfalls on the newly fallen leaves. Though it was winter, the air felt crisp, not bitter, and the chill was slightly uncomfortable, not unbearable.
After an hour, the path became steeper, but not for long. After cresting a hill, Arizona saw his destination— a small pagoda, white with three red roofs on its three levels. “My master is inside. My journey ends here. I will wait here until you are finished.” The driver bowed deeply again, his head nearly touching the ground, and Arizona bowed as well before walking up to the pagoda’s entrance.
“Arizona-san, enter.” Chance complied with the voice, and walked through the opening into the first floor. Inside, yin/yang symbols, paintings of sakura in full bloom, and a full set of samurai armor in a display case greeted him.
Suddenly, a hand clasped Chance on the shoulder, and he instinctively grabbed it. Chance gained wrist control and twisted as he swung around, while the hooded figure attached to the hand flipped effortlessly along with the twist, and reversed the move on Chance. Chance rolled through the arm wrench and looked at his assailant.
“Star-san?” Arizona and the hooded man stopped their tussle and embraced. “Star-san, it is so good to see you again. I wish this were a social call, but you know why I am here.”
“Yes, Arizona-san.” The figure pulled back his hood and showed himself as Ninja Star, Great Ginzu’s greatest rival from the 1980’s. “I know why you are here. Ginzu’s student almost ended your life, and you seek to end him.”
“No, Star-san. I do not seek to end him. His student is a good man who lost control. I seek to understand his technique and defeat him, but not to defeat the nightmare within him. If I see that again, I fear I will not be so lucky the next time.”
A short chuckle came from the master. “You are indeed wiser than my student gave you credit for. Come, let us train. I will show you how to deal with the Raniken and the Mu state. I had to learn to do the same 40 years ago in Nagasaki.”

OOC: You’re going to have to explain Long Square, Stan. No idea what that is. I'm assuming that would be the legally distinct knock-off version of Short Round from Temple of Doom?

Arizona is dripping in sweat, near the point of exhaustion. Ninja Star simply and sternly says, “Again!”
Arizona goes through an extremely quick series of parries and blocks. “Not fast enough! Again!” Arizona hangs his head.
“Star-san, I may not be able to get this in time. Besides, I need some water.” Arizona leaves his fighting stance and walks to a fountain in the pagoda, cupping his hands to take a drink.
“Arizona-san— if you cannot master this, you may be forced to face the Nightmare.” Suddenly, the suit of samurai armor started glowing with a blue aura and sprang to life. It charged at Chance, who stared at it dumbfounded— he believed he was hallucinating. The armor was unnaturally fast, and it attacked brutally. Arizona parried and blocked all of the attacks of the empty armor using the techniques he had learned over the past few days. After a few seconds of panic, Arizona was able to focus his mind and the moment he landed a blow on the armor, it fell to pieces.
“Arizona-san— what have you done? This was a 17th century set of armor— and you’ve dented it!” Ninja Star smiled. “But it was happy to be useful again.”
“WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!?” Arizona’s scream echoed up all three stories of the pagoda.
“Maybe it was all in your mind. Maybe not. But the adrenaline of fearing for your life was the missing ingredient. And remember— if you cannot defeat Stanley in the Mu state, you may have to face him as Nightmare Ginzu, so you are right to fear for your life. I have taught you all I can, Arizona-san. May fortune smile upon you.”
Arizona bowed deeply. “And you as well, Star-san.”
“Nagai Seihōkei! Take Mr. Chance back to the airport. He has a championship to reclaim.”
Arizona pulled Ninja Star into an embrace. “My Japanese may not be perfect, but is his name really Long Square?”
“No. Inside joke.” Ninja Star smiled as he waved goodbye.

Stanley the Weeb makes an emergency phone call to the original Great Ginzu, his master.
"Master...I lost control again."
"Stan-San, your problem is a simple one. You are causing the Nightmare Ginzu personality out by trying to deny your own darkness. Next time, do not resist nor deny him. Instead, deal with the fealings about your parents who abandoned you."
"How master?"
"See a psychiatrist. Get your fealings out there. Once you do that...you can make a working relationship with your Nightmare persona. By the way, have you taken to Tommy-San lately?"
"No sensei. He has taken a medical leave."
"Keep an eye on him. The agents of The Red Oni have been asking about him. I fear he may turn to the Red Oni to heal his shoulder faster."
"Why is this a problem?"
"The Red Oni style makes what you are capable of as Nightmare Ginzu pale in comparison."
"I'll be on the lookout."
"And Stan-san?"
"Yes."
"You have a kawaii future bride. Keep her safe."
"Hai sensei." Click.

Tommy End watches Stanley from across the street as he hangs up the phone. Tommy End: I know who Stan just called. Time to make a call of my own. Tommy pulls his phone out of his pocket and dials a number. Mirai: Tommy? Why are you calling me? Tommy End: Listen, I don’t have much time to talk. I need your help. Mirai: What is it? Tommy End: Stanley just called Sensei Ginzu, and Ginzu knows I’m going to see the Red Oni. I think Ginzu might have told Stanley to try and stop me. Send some of your most trustworthy and loyal students to shake him off my trail. I’ll explain what’s happening when I get to Japan. Mirai: I will do what you ask. Tommy End: I have to go, I’ve got a flight to catch. See you when I touch down? Mirai: Of course. Sayonara, Tommy-San.

"Stanley"
"And Rebecca here."
"Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Again, our bosses have decided to present a clip show of our best matches for the Christmas season. This show may contain some matches we played on our Thanksgiving clip show. And on behalf of everyone at the JWA, both on camera and off, we wish you a Merry Christmas."
Rebecca rings a hand bell. "Another angel earns their wings."
"And next week is our award show. Enjoy."

"it's the new penguin coming out here and looking forward to making a debut match here in JWA." 5 second pause "I'm not gonna lie I think I'm going to have the time of my life here especially when I steal the title from the disgrace to the company Arizona chance. I think that he would be good if he just left and wrestled for some trash company that he might actually be useful for and I can't wait to take it from him and crush his soul in the process."

OOC How do you level up and get stars and all that OOC: If you're referring to the stars and the ranking next to our names on this board, that has nothing to do with what we're doing. That's the message board itself, with the stars and titles based on post count I believe.
