I have been a lurker on these boards for years, literally, since 80s Mania first came out. I never felt the need to post until now. I absolutely HAD to tell you how great this is. Through the years I’ve read tons of fantasy booking in dozens of different wrestling themed forums... TEW, EWR, COTG, Fan Aires, EFeds back when that was a thing ... etc This is up there with some of the best. The writing is clean. You’re doing a great job of ‘remixing’ the real world moments these characters are based on while still building new characters like 2 Zap and the Smooth Criminals. You’ve got slow building stories for the inevitable big turns by Dude and Chet. You’re using teal world events to add depth and realism. And now you’ve got dirt sheets being mentioned ... just terrific world building. A few of the characters and backstory made in the Grey Dog Software forums eventually trickled over and became in game cannon. I really hope this happens here. Kudos. This is awesome. That is high praise and I’m honored and humbled. This made my day. Thank you.

Sep 1990 Monday Night Live
Tycoon and Fantasy were poring over documents backstage with a team of people in suits, including Yuppie VP. VP grabbed Fantasy, pulled him over to a document he was looking at, and said “I know this is bad news, and this is tough to swallow at this point, but this paper clearly states that the company’s ownersh—“
“I CAN READ, DAMMIT!! FIND ME SOME GOOD NEWS!!” Fantasy stormed out of the room, and tore a poster of the old ABCW logo off the wall on his way out. Tycoon slowly walked over to VP. “Well old buddy, keep trying. I have to go make an announcement to the audience.”
Tycoon walked to the ring and addressed the crowd. “Welcome to Monday Night Live! This month will be a little bit different— instead of our normal PPV, we will be hosting our annual Cruiserweight Cup Tournament. We will be having qualifying matches over the next several weeks, and the winner of the tourney earns a Cruiserweight Title opportunity. Without further ado, here’s our first qualifying match.”
1. Chet Skye w/ Jessie Wild defeats Skelescreem to secure his place in the tournament. Wild was supportive and cheered on Skye, who did not need his help.
2. Dirk Dungeon over The Piranha in qualifier number 2.
3. Exotic Rick came out on the mic, and called out Dude Brohan. He mentioned that he thought Brohan had gotten soft, and didn’t do much Wrestling— or working out these days. Rick said he was a better wrestler and had a better body. Brohan charged the ring, called for a ref, and then beat Rick in three minutes with the Big Bro Leg Drop.
4. Magnifico over Zen in qualifier number 3.
5. Average Guy retains the TV Title over Chicano via the Average Elbow. Big Rig comes to ringside after the match and says he wants the next TV Title shot, since his friend couldn’t hack it. Chicano glared at Big Rig, but the two hugged it out to end the show.

Sep 1990 Sports Entertainment
Mr. Tycoon was backstage with the Neon Express. “Chet, Jessie, you guys have been an inseparable team for over a decade. I want to give you a chance to get on the same page now, so talk it out. You guys have a tag title opportunity tonight.”
Chet and Jessie looked at each other, and the tension seemed to disappear. The two smiled, high-fived, and got ready to try to win their 6th ABCW Tag championship.
1. In qualifier number 4, Kannibal Keith with Gothica over the debuting Jobber Joe. Joe actually tripped entering the ring, and his nose broke and he was cut over his eye when he smashed face first into the ring steps. Joe attempted a dropkick to start the match, but the blood pouring from above his eye obscured his vision, and he kicked the ref instead. That only meant that Keith could do anything he wanted, and Joe was brutalized until the ref came to. When he saw Joe’s clothes ripped to shreds and Keith pummeling Joe’s face from a mounted position, he declared the match a TKO.
2. Vegas with Ezekiel over 2-Zap with Notorious BB in qualifier number 5. BB picked 2-Zap up off the mat and tried to console his partner, but 2-Zap was having none of it. As they walked to the back, Zap could be heard saying to BB, “When’s your insurance policy going to show up? You said he’d be here by now.”
3. Backstage, Hunk and Ace were brawling. Tycoon jumped into the melee with security, and caught a fist from The Hunk for his trouble. The two men were separated. Tycoon screamed at Hunk “You can’t come backstage and start a fight, and you can’t lay your hands on me. You’re suspended until after the Cruiserweight Cup with no pay!”
4. In qualifier number 6, Dicky Thunderbird defeated Dizzy Lixx in a pedestrian match.
5. Howl and Roar defended the tag titles against Neon Express. Chet and Jessie hit a double Torpedo Dropkick on Wolf, but they both went for the cover because Wild forgot Skye was the legal man. The confusion allowed Leo to make the save, and Leo then hit a Thunderstrike on Skye, eliminate Wild, then roll Wolf onto Skye for the pin.
After the match, a frustrated Jessie Wild grabbed a chair from ringside and started bashing Skye across his back, screaming that Skye was always the weak link, and that Jessie would shock him and the world by winning the Cruiserweight Cup in two weeks.

Sep 1990 Weekend Attitude
A cameraman caught Chet Skye backstage on a rampage. “WHERE IS HE?! WHERE’S JESSIE?!?” He grabbed a stagehand— “WHERE IS JESSIE WILD?” The stagehand shook his head that he didn’t know, and Skye threw him onto the catering table. Food and drink flew everywhere. A hand clasped Skye’s shoulder. Skye reared back a punch— and stopped short as he almost clocked the acting GM, Mr Tycoon.
Tycoon calmly said, “Chet, if I was in your boots after what Jessie did last week, I’d be tearing the place up too. You can get your hands on him next week in the first round of the Cruiserweight Cup. I’m not even going to make him qualify. I’m even going to give you some mic time to air your grievances. But if you assault another member of our crew or destroy any more property, you’re suspended. Understand?” Skye seemed satisfied and nodded his assent.
Tycoon walked into an office, with the cameraman following him. As he opened the door, the camera caught Mr. Fantasy and Yuppie VP across the desk from each other, papers strewn everywhere. Fantasy was in mid sentence. “bad, very bad. If he finds out about this, we could lose everything. He may be 50% own—“ Fantasy spied the camera. “GET THAT THING OUTTA HERE, DAMMIT! CUT THE FEED! CUT IT NOW! IF YOU DONT CUT THE FEED RIGHT NOW YOU’RE FI—“
1. O’Hooligan’s Pub was open for business with Average Guy at the bar. “Hey, O’Hooligan, pour me another. Today is the one year anniversary of me winning this here TV Title. I done beat everybody that come my way, and Imma gonna keep on keepin’ on, good Lord willing and the creek don’t rise.” Arizona Chance sidled up next to AG. “That’s a mighty long run you’ve had. You’ve faced some of the best in that time. But you’ve never faced me. And since I’m ineligible for this year’s Cruiserweight Cup because I won last year, I’ve got nothing to do this week or next. Sure would be kind of you to give me a title shot in two weeks.” Guy looked at Chance, and said, “Old friend, you got it. See you in two weeks.” The two shook hands and Arizona walked away. As he was leaving, he looked back over his shoulder and said, “Hey Guy— just remember— nobody hunts for gold better than Arizona Chance.”
2. Lazer was backstage with Tycoon. “Look boss, it’s not that I won’t do it, I CAN’T do it. He can tag with me tonight, but the fans are still going to hate him because he’s lame and his one-liners are stupid.” Tycoon responded, “We both know that, but Fantasy wants someone to carry the patriotism thing since we’re probably headed to war, and this is the guy he wants to run with it.”
“Wouldn’t Freedom Fighter be a better choice? Anyone but... him?” The camera panned over to Nuclear Warhawk, who said “I’m as American as apple pie, baseball, and your mom, who I visited last night. Hey-ooo!” Lazer looked at Tycoon with a “see what I mean” look. Tycoon just shook his head and said, “Just go to the ring.”
Laser teamed with Nuclear Warhawk against Exotic Rick and Chicano. Rick and Lazer started off and had great chemistry. Lazer tagged in NW, and the match went to hell. Dan Mixer later reported that everything NW agreed to before the match was abandoned, and he no-sold all of the heels’ offense in an effort to look strong. Finally, Chicano hit NW with an actual punch, and he crumpled because he was legit KO’ed. Lazer tried to save the match by cleaning house, but NW was unable to continue, and Rick and Chicano were declared the winners in this debacle.
3. O’Hooligan over Power Racer in the final Cruiserweight Cup qualifier. The field is now set: Chet Skye, Jessie Wild, Vegas, Magnifico, Dicky Thunderbird, O’Hooligan, Kannibal Keith, and Dirk Dungeon.
4. Chet Skye walked out, microphone in hand. “Well, it’s been over ten years since the Neon Express were the inaugural Tag Team Champs, and it feels like I’ve spent my entire life at the side of Jessie Wild. After he turned on me last week, it feels like I’ve lost a brother.” At these words, Jessie came out from the back. He also had a mic, and Skye was fuming. Wild started, “Chet, I want to apologize to you. 1990 hasn’t been a good year for me, and you know my struggles. Fans, what you don’t know, is that I’ve been struggling with many demons. After what happened last week, I decided to get help.” Jessie held up a token. “This is my one week sobriety token. I’ve earned it. This change I’m trying to make is the hardest thing I’m ever going to do. Chet, what I did last week was inexcusable. All I can say is that I know two things: first, that it was out of frustration and the downward spiral my life was in, not because I hate you. I take back everything I said, and I am sorry. Second, I don’t know if I can stay sober without the encouragement of you, my best friend— no, my brother. Will you please forgive me and help me be a better man?”
Jessie had a tear in his eye as he said those things. Chet seemed to soften, and he called Jessie into the ring. The two men stared at each other for a moment, then embraced. The fans were genuinely moved, and several audience members were crying. However, their tears turned to shock when Skye clicked Wild out of nowhere, and Wild fell back into the ropes with his arms caught between the top and middle ropes. Wild stared up at Skye and asked “Why?”, and Skye caught Wild with a superkick. Skye stepped back, and did a second superkick, and a third, and a fourth, pausing between to berate Wild for his failings. The fifth kick rendered Wild unconscious. The sixth brought out a team of referees, who Skye cleared from the ring to deliver a seventh superkick. Tycoon and a security team then escorted Skye out of the building while medical staff attended to Wild.
5. Dragonfly retains the Cruiserweight Title over Zen. Nobody cared after what they just saw.

I’m basically writing a recap column at this point so let’s see...
First, I’m kind of hoping the corporate intrigue leads to a brand split of some sort.
Second, “No one hunts for gold... like Arizona Chance” is such a good catchphrase it should be on the back of his in game card. Or at least his merch
Next, the Skye/Wild was a shocking double turn after the last show. Well done. Makes me want to buy 90s Jesse Wild and I had no plans to do that
Finally... (takes deep breathe) you used a ‘kayfabe’ backstage segment to build a story about a push for a completely inappropriate (but hilarious) character, then used a fictional dirt sheet to build a reason for an in game mechanic (I’m assuming it was a low rated match) . So now you have a story about a reluctant push for a patriotic character (which somewhat mirrors the Monday Night Wara Era push for The Patriot on Raw) AND a character who is going into business for themselves which will set up for a bigger rivalry down the road. What can I say? *chef kiss* Brilliant.

Sep 1990 Cruiserweight Cup
Average Guy and Arizona Chance were backstage chatting about their upcoming TV Title match when a stagehand informed them that the GM wanted to see them. Mr. Tycoon was standing in front of his desk with a high-backed chair facing the other direction. Already in the room were Lazer, Dr. B, Star Boy, Freedom Fighter, and the Van Winkles, who had not been seen since they lost their belts at the infamous Valentine’s Massacre mass screwjob. Lazer spoke up first. “Alright Tycoon, we’re all here. What’s this about?”
Tycoon had a huge smile on his face. “Lazer... gentlemen... I’d like to present to you our new commissioner... who happens to be our old commissioner.” The chair spin around slowly, and Mr. Codger was sitting in it. The reaction of the guys in the room were the same as the crowd— a moment of stunned silence, followed by one of the biggest pops in ABCW history. Codger spoke to the guys in the room, and to the fans. “Hello folks. It’s good to be back! A little birdie told me that there was a bit of a glitch in Mr. Fantasy’s hostile takeover at the end of last year. A big, big glitch. Fantasy’s lawyers left a big loophole, and as of today, I am 50% owner of ABCW!”
Fantasy barged into the office to ruin the party. “YOU! You old geezer, you has been, how dare you come in and sit at my desk, talk to my wrestlers, and try to run my company!”
Codger held up a contract. “OUR company, you mean. Our desk, our wrestlers, OUR company! You’re going to have to live with the fact that you’re not as smart as you thought, and sometimes people connections are more important than business!”
Fantasy turned to Tycoon. “You ingrate! I gave you another job, power, and this is how you repay me?!? YOU’RE FI—“
“NO, he’s not!” Codger got up in Fantasy’s face. “You want to fire somebody, it goes through me!”
Fantasy stormed out, screaming “This isn’t the end of this, Codger!”
1. Jessie Wild showed up for match one of the Cruiserweight Cup wearing a Phamtom if the Opera style mask, as he had a fractured orbit, but insisted on having his match with Chet Skye. It was over quickly, as Skye repeatedly attacked the face of Wild, ripped off the mask, and delivered a superkick for the win. Skye spit on the fallen frame of his former partner as he left the ring.
2. Dicky Thunderbird over Vegas w/ Ezekiel in a round one match via the Thunderbird Chop.
3. In a huge upset, Dirk Dungeon hit a Boomkick out of nowhere to defeat O’Hooligan.
4. Kannibal Keith w/Gothica obliterated Magnifico. Mag was about get his mask eaten off his face when Gothica was able to calm Keith down, and they left quietly.
5. Hunk came to the ring. “Now that the Hunk’s suspension is over, Average Guy, come on down so the Hunk can show you some appreciation for your help against Ace.” Average Guy came down, entered the ring, shook Hunk’s hand, and Hunk pulled him into the Hunka Dunk. As Guy laid supine on the mat, Hunk continued. “This is what happens when the Hunk gets upset at you. If you suck, like this big fat fattie here, you get dunked. If you SMEELLLL, what the Hunk is smellin’!”
6. In the match of the night, Chet Skye over Dicky Thunderbird with the Torpedo Dropkick.
7. Dirk Dungeon managed upset number two as Kannibal Keith got himself counted out. Keith and Dirk tumbled outside and fought. At 9, Dirk rolled in, but Keith caught Gothica’s eye and hesitated, allowing the count to reach ten. Dirk then got out of dodge and booked it to the back as fast as he could.
8. Dr. B and Tycoon spoke backstage. Dr. B asked if he tipped off Codger. Tycoon replied, “It wasn’t me, but I’d like to thank whoever did.”
9. In another stunning upset, Dirk Dungeon took home the Cup by defeating Chet Skye. Of course Jessie Wild cost Skye the match. Wild ran in after a ref bump, nailed a Torpedo Dropkick, and then Dirk hit the Boomkick.

Oct 1990 Monday Night Live
Mr. Tycoon was mediating a “discussion” between Fantasy and Codger over who would get to sit in the owner’s suite tonight and who would sit in the slightly inferior VIP suite. Codger argued that he should get the owner’s suite because he hired back the Van Winkles from Texas. Fantasy argued back that he hired a new guy as well, who would be making his debut tonight. The two started arguing over who got to make matches. Tycoon proposed the solution that with three shows per month and a PPV, Tycoon runs Monday Night Live, Fantasy runs Sports Entertainment, and Codger runs Weekend Attitude. They would then collaborate on the PPV, with Tycoon having the final say since he was impartial in their dispute. They agreed to the compromise... for now.
Tycoon then welcomed the audience to Monday Night Live and announced that a certain wrestler from out east would be making his ABCW debut against Dragonfly later that night. He also announced the main event for the evening— the TV Title match between Average Guy and Arizona Chance.
1. Chet Skye squared off with Ezekiel, and Dan Mixer commented in the Wrestling Viewer that it was basically impossible at this point for these two to have a bad match. Ezekiel locked in Jacob’s Ladder, and while Skye managed to escape, it appeared some damage was done to his knee and hip. Skye created some space and signaled for his Torpedo Dropkick, but the injury prevented him from ascending the turnbuckle. Jessie Wild ran out to interfere, but Vegas cut him off, stating “Ezekiel thought you might come, and said to say this: Isaiah 32:7– as for the scoundrel, his devices are evil; he makes wicked plans. Don’t be a scoundrel.” Ezekiel are a superkick from Skye and Skye earned the victory. He stared at Wild menacingly, but limped to the back.
2. Freedom Fighter defeated Masakari with the Haymaker of Justice. FF played up the patriotism angle, but didn’t overdo it, as Japan wasn’t actually an enemy.
3. Ronny Believer defeated Beer Can Man in the latest chapter of their ongoing feud. Fans didn’t pop quite as much for this match, as several of their spots were repeated from previous encounters.
4. Dragonfly came to the ring and awaited his debuting opponent. From the curtain walked a man who was dressed like a cross between Big Thuggee and a member of the Neon Express, with scars over his arms and chest, and a crazed look in his eye. He was announced as Suicide, and the match was announced as No-DQ. Dragonfly looked genuinely shocked and slightly panicked. The two put on a dazzling array of aerial beauty and intense violence, and Dragonfly emerged victorious after a Dragonstar Splash from a ladder outside the ring through a table inside the ring. The match received a standing ovation.
5. Average Guy successfully defended his TV Title when Arizona unfortunately sustained a knee injury and was unable to continue. AC grabbed a microphone as he was being carted off and apologized to the fans, saying they deserve to see this match after he heals up. AG walked out next to the stretcher to close the show.

Oct 1990 Sports Entertainment
Mr. Fantasy opened the show from behind his desk and addressed the fans over the big screen. “ABCW fans, I am indeed sorry for what has transpired. It has been my goal to provide you with the best sports entertainment available, and due to a loophole left in by some now fired attorneys, I can guarantee that 50% of this product will be inferior. Well, slightly less than 50% starting next month, as I am please to announce that I have used some of my vast personal wealth to provide an extra segment, only on my show, Sports Entertainment. Enjoy the show.”
1. The show opened with a highlight clip of the most recent edition of Teeny’s Playhouse, which was a topical lesson on patriotism. Freedom Fighter told the children about growing up in the USSR, where people would be thrown in prison just because they had a different opinion, and how he came to appreciate the freedom the USA offered. A newcomer, Beastheart, talked about the challenges of growing up under a king, and how he had to learn to fight for his freedom. Then Nuclear Warhawk started talking about being a soldier, but got carried away and talked about “bombing the sand rats back to the Stone Age, and then showing their women what a real man feels like.” The kids were understandably concerned, and Teeny scolded NW for speaking that way in front of the kids. NW challenges Teeny to a match to settle their differences “in the ring, then in your girlfriend’s bedroom. Hey-oooo!”
2. Command and Conquer, w/ The Gargoyle, defeat Def Row with 2-Zap submitting to the Cobra Clutch. BB comforted his partner, saying “Don’t worry man. We’ll get you off this slide. The insurance policy will be here next time.”
3. Dizzy Lixx over Bobby Blitzworth. Fantasy was backstage watching on the screen and cheered when Lixx hit the Antichrist Superplex. He explained to Tycoon that the gimmick change for Lixx was his idea. Chet Skye walked by the two and Fantasy stopped him. “Skye, I see star potential in you. Now, tonight, you go out there and beat the champ, and we’ll get you a world title shot.”
4. Dude Brohan was backstage for an interview with Honest Al. “Well, you know somethin’ Honest Al, I respect the Lazer more than anybody out here, and after the last PPV, I respect Ace as well. He pushed Lazer to the limit, and yeah, he was a sore loser, but I am too. Now that Lazer’s moving on from Ace, he has to face the next chall—“ Dude’s promo was cut off by a quick kick to the gut and an Ace Crusher. Ace grabbed Honest Al’s mic. “I think what this pile of crap was trying to say is, Ace is done with you when Ace says he’s done. And that’s the bottom dollar, cause Ace said so.”
5. Lazer squared off with Chet Skye in the main event, with Skye earning a world title shot with a victory. Lazer controlled the early going, but Skye battled back. The two went very evenly until the match’s finish, when Jessie Wild distracted Skye while Lazer was down. Skye belted Wild off the apron to the floor, but it allowed Lazer to do a double leg pickup and apply the Lazerlock. Skye was already injured from his match last week with Ezekiel, and the hold proved too much as he tapped out. Skye could not walk after the match. Wild did not attack, but laughed and taunted Skye all the way back as he was carried by medical staff.

Oct 1990 Weekend Attitude
Mr. Codger was backstage with Mr. Tycoon. “You know, it sure does feel good to get back in the game. I knew that when Fantasy decided to poison the boys to force them out, I had to get back in to protect them.” Tycoon responded, “That’s something you and I share. I have had differences with some of these guys, but I respect them too much to let that happen again.”
Codger continued— “However, I’m about giving new guys chances too. So, tonight Lazer will be tagging with Dude Brohan against Ace of Spades and Exotic Rick. If Rick and Ace win, whoever gets the pinfall gets a title match next week, since Fantasy’s new protegé Chet Skye failed last week.”
1. Ezekiel with Vegas defeated Jessie Wild by Divine Intervention. Ezekiel quoted Scripture again after the match: “Psalm 37:38– the transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off, declares the Lord.” He and Vegas began a post-match beatdown of Wild, and in to make the save came... Nuclear Warhawk. Warhawk smashed Vegas with a forearm and then tried to kick Ezekiel, but Ezekiel caught the leg and turned it into Jacob’s Ladder. Warhawk squealed like a little girl, and Ezekiel released the hold. Warhawk rolled out of the ring holding his knee as if it had been shot despite only being in the hold for about three seconds. Ezekiel stared at Warhawk, confused, and then resumed the beatdown on Wild.
2. Dr. B addressed the fans with a sincerity in his voice, with no yelling or screaming. “In my time here in ABCW, I’m a 6-time World Champ, and a 5-time Tag Champ. I’ve done it all here—except win the TV Title. I know that Dr. B’s time is coming soon, because all of us eventually get defeated by Father Time. However, I’m going to ask one of my oldest adversaries to come out here and give me a chance to complete my resume. Average Guy, can I have a shot at the TV Title?”
Average Guy came out to the ramp. He looked to the ring, tapped his belt and gave a thumbs up.
3. Arizona Chance announces he was ready to roll after his injury, and wanted to face the winner of Average Guy v Dr. B.
4. Femme Fatale and Gothica bring the house down with the best ladies match in ABCW history. FF manages to win via countout when Gothica gets her foot tangled in TV cable. Codger announces afterwards that FF would be the next challenger for the Ladies Title.
5. Lazer and Dude Brohan came to the ring. Ace came down first for his team, and before Exotic Rick came down, Brohan attacked Ace in retribution for Ace interrupting Brohan’s interview. Rick ran to the ring and started brawling with Lazer, and the match suddenly became a Tornado Tag match as the ref lost all control immediately. The four men brawled all over the arena, and the environment was used to everyone’s advantage. Brohan took the worst when he was clocked by Ace with a fire extinguisher and thrown off the entrance ramp to the floor. Rick and Ace then double teamed Lazer and got him back to the ring.
Rick hit the Exotic Awakening on Lazer and went for the pin, which was broken up by Ace. Ace and Rick argues until Lazer recovered and rolled up Rick, and that pinfall attempt was also broken up by Ace. Ace shoved Rick out of the ring, and Brohan finally woke up and attacked Rick. Ace and Lazer tumbled outside, while Rick and Brohan battled back inside. Rick hit Brohan with Exotic Awakening as Ace hit the Ace Crusher on Lazer outside the ring. Rick immediately covered, and the ref counted three before Ace could get in and break it up. Rick started celebrating, but ate a Crusher for his trouble to end the show.

Oct 1990 Halloween Hellraiser (my first ever 4* PPV!)
1. The show started off with a recent clip of The Hunk on the Len Jayo show. Len asked Hunk about the recent managerial change. “Well Len, The Hunk says this: IT DOESNT MATTER WHO’S IN CHARGE! I don’t care if it’s Mr Fantasy, Mr Codger, Mr Tycoon, Mr Magoo, or Mr Pie Eating Jabroni in charge, the Hunk is still the most electrifying guy in wrestling. Let’s just get one thing clear— the Hunk will win titles sooner rather than later, if you SMEEEEELLLLL what the Hunk is smellin’!”
2. Average Guy and Dr. B met for their match for the TV Title. Dr. B took advantage of the flash of one of the ringside cameras in Guy’s face to gain an early pinfall attempt, but Guy powered out. The two told a great story of Dr. B throwing everything he could at the resilient AG, who managed to just barely hang on. Guy made his comeback and attempted the Average Elbow, but missed, which allowed Dr B to hit the Clubber... which Guy kicked out of at 2 7/8. The frustrated Dr B grabbed a chair from ringside and brought it into the ring, which Average Guy stole and was about to use on Dr B when the ref intervened. While the ref had his hands on the chair, Dr. B hit a second Clubber and got the pinfall to become TV Champ.
3. Princess Starbright defeated Femme Fatale the match for the Ladies Title.
4. Ace of Spades took out his frustrations on Magnifico in a one sided match, ending with Ace hitting the Ace Crusher off the top turnbuckle. Soon afterwards, a mysterious masked man in a suit came from the audience and started beating on the unconscious Magnifico. He grabbed a chair, placed it across Mag’s throat, and jumped onto the chair from the top rope. He the grabbed a mic. “I am El Presidente. Wherever Magnifico goes, I will be there to haunt him for what he did to me in Mexico. He will now be out for a long time. And when he returns, so will I.” He then walked out of the arena while medical staff tended to Magnifico.
5. The strange tag team of Ezekiel and Teeny Norman squared off with the equally strange team of Jessie Wild and Nuclear Warhawk. Warhawk got on the mic and stated he had a special surprise for everyone, and told the timekeeper to put a 10 minute timer on the screen. The match started, and Ezekiel dominated the action as the timer ticked down. He tagged in Norman, who managed to get in some offense on Warhawk to a huge pop from the crowd. Wild got the tag and turned the tide, but only until Norman tagged in Ezekiel. Wild tagged in Warhawk as 10 seconds were left on the timer. At 3 seconds, NW cowered in the middle of the ring. As the timer hit 0, a loud explosion was heard, and suddenly Norman and Wild were screaming in pain from burns due to the explosion that they were not prepared for. Ezekiel saw what happened, and in a rage put NW in Jacob’s Ladder, which resulted in an immediate submission.
6. Orion Northstar and Dark Mauler meet again in a Lightsword on a Pole Match. The announcers explain that the lightsword has been blunted to make it less than deadly, but the shock and pain will be tougher than anything seen before in ABCW. After several teases, Orion grabbed the lightsword, swung and missed, and Mauler wrestled the object away from Northstar and turned it on him. Northstar’s skin turned red where it struck him, and he was almost instantly knocked out, allowing Mauler to get the pin.
7. Dude Brohan came to the ring to cut a promo. Since this was basically the same promo he’s cut for about two months straight, the fans actually turned on Brohan a little bit. He won them back by telling them he would do less talking and more fighting in the near future.
8. Howl and Roar successfully defended the Tag Titles against Command and Conquer. Mr Fantasy came out and said this would be their last chance at the title for a while. Mr Codger interrupted him and said he wouldn’t rule them out yet. The two got into a huge argument that led backstage, with Tycoon intervening to try to calm the hostilities.
9. Lazer and Exotic Rick made their way to the ring for the World Title match. Lazer and Rick had a brutal, hard hitting match. In the end, Lazer went for the Lazer Splash, put Rick pulled the ref in front to protect himself. With the ref knocked out, shenanigans ensued. Undermaster ran out to help his friend Rick. As he hit the ring, Dude Brohan ran in to help his friend Lazer even the odds. Ace of Spades ran down and attacked Brohan, and then the Hunk ran down and attacked Ace. In the ensuing melee, Lazer managed to connect on a Lazer Death Drop as the ref came to, and Lazer retained the title via pinfall. The brawl continued, and Fantasy and Codger both came down with security and most of the locker room to break things up.
Fantasy and Codger held a quick sidebar, then made an announcement— jointly. Fantasy started— “Next month, we’ve got the Survival of the Fittest. We’ve already got our double main event: an elimination tag match with Ace, Rick, and a partner of their choice versus Brohan, Hunk, and a partner of their choice...” Codger finished the statement. “And, a world title match between Lazer and Undermaster.” The six combatants stared at each other, with mostly looks affirming the decision. “Fantasy, we might make this work.” Fantasy and Codger shook hands as the show faded to black.

Nov 1990 Monday Night Live
A smiling— SMILING!— Mr Fantasy was walking backstage with Mr Codger. “I just wanted to tell you how much I apologize for all the cracks about your age. I can actually learn a lot from someone with your... wisdom.” Codger replies, “Fantasy, you’re all right. I forgive you. I’m willing to bet that with my wisdom, and your crazy ideas, we might make this work after all.” The two walked past Lazer and Average Guy, who stood with mouth agape in shock that Fantasy and Codger would so easily forgive each other.
1. Mr Tycoon came to ringside to announce a couple of the matches he lined up, including the opener between Ezekiel with Vegas and Skelescreem. Ezekiel mopped the floor with Skelescreem, hitting Divine Intervention and quickly ending a mediocre match. Vegas jumped on the apron with a mic after the match, and said to Ezekiel, “I don’t begrudge you anything you’ve earned— because you’re earning victories and fame for yourself. But I’m more than a cheerleader. Let’s make a serious push for the tag titles— together.” Ezekiel grabbed the mic from Vegas, and said, “Ecclesiastes 4:9– Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their work.” The two embraced and headed to the back talking about how to take out Howl and Roar.
2. The returning Chicano defeats Arizona Chance in a hotly contested match. Afterwards, Chicano feigned an attack on Chance, then slicked his hair back and flicked the oil onto Chance.
3. Nuclear Warhawk came to the ring and issued a challenge. “After exploding onto the map last week— get it? Exploding? Hey-oooo! After exploding onto the map last week, I was thinking the best way to put more talent on their knees in front of me would be to issue an open challenge. Come on down if you want a piece of the action!”
2-Zap came down to answer the challenge, mentioning that he enjoyed being on Teeny Norman’s show and that he was fighting for the little guy. NW’s offense proved too much for the much smaller 2-Zap... until Notorious BB lumbered down to ringside with their insurance policy. Standing over 6’ tall, and as muscular as most men, Valkyrie caught NW’s attention. This allowed 2-Zap to roll up Warhawk for his first ever ABCW victory in 14 tries. NW didn’t even seem to care, as he was mesmerized by Valkyrie. He invited her into the ring. “Babe, I hope you don’t take this the wrong way, but I wouldn’t mind you riding the Warhawk Express all night long.” Valkyrie states back menacingly while NW dug Himself an even bigger Grave. “I mean, I love women of all shapes and sizes, and baby, you’re one big bi—“ and Valkyrie slapped the taste out of his mouth. The two struggled, and ended up with Valkyrie in a mount, pummeling NW in the face. BB and 2-Zap pulled Valkyrie off Warhawk, who was bloodied but smiling as he passed out.
4. Undermaster defeated the Ace of Spades by DQ when Exotic Rick came down to ringside, saw that Ace was in control, then hit Undermaster to cause the DQ victory for him. Ace delivered a Crusher to Rick, and Undermaster escapes further harm.
5. Average Guy regained the TV Title from Dr. B. Dr. B stormed out after realizing that he fulfilled his dream to win the title, but also goes down as having the shortest TV Title reign in ABCW history.

Nov 1990 Sports Entertainment
Mr. Fantasy opened the show with a monologue. “Wrestling is a business that thrives off competition. So, in order to increase the level of competition, Codger and I have come up with a stipulation for the big elimination tag match at Survival of the Fittest. Each surviving member of the winning team will, at some point before next year’s show, be entitled to a title match of their choosing at a PPV of their choosing. So, Ace, Rick, Dude, Hunk... the ball is in your court.”
1. Vegas with Ezekiel defeated Skelescreem with the Heartbreaker. Ezekiel jumped up on the apron and yelled at Vegas, “I knew he would t give you trouble! I knew if I could beat him, you would too! Let’s go get those tag titles!” Vegas stared at Ezekiel with a confused look. Ezekiel read his mind, and said “There’s not a Bible verse for everything.”
2. Ace of Spades delivered a promo back stage with Exotic Rick by his side. “Oh, heck yeah!! Y’all just heard the winner of the elimination match gets a title shot. What I just heard is that Ace is going to be your next world champ! After Rick and I get done stomping mud puddles in The Hunk and Brohan, we’ll all be champs... including our partner, Dr. B!” Dr. B stepped into the camera shot. “When we win, I’m taking back that TV Title from Average Guy. My legacy will not be that I was the shortest reigning TV Title holder in history! I’m going to win that belt and then keep it forever!”
3. Howl and Roar over the Mullet Cousins in a squash. The Smooth Criminals sit at ringside to scout the competition. After the pinfall, Howl and Roar get into a shouting match with the Criminals, but nothing physical occurs.
4. Masakari over Arizona Chance to become the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Title.
5. The Hunk and Dude Brohan are standing backstage to reveal their partner. Dude began, “Well, ya know somethin’ Hunkster, we’ve got a lot of good people to choose from to be our partner and this was a tough decision. But it comes down to one thing for us— passion. Who is as passionate about what they believe in as we are? Who is going to give it their all? Who is going to—“
Hunk cut off Brohan. “Stop. Just stop. You’re embarrassing the Hunk. Why don’t you just try to find out where the hair on the top of your head ran off to. I heard it left because your face scared it away. For The Hunk, this decision came down to one thing: who is going to kick Ace’s candy butt? It just happened to be the same guy Baldy here wanted.”
The camera panned past Brohan to their partner, Freedom Fighter.
6. Mr. Fantasy entered the ring. “Welcome to the inaugural 6th segment of Sports Entertainment! And guess what— I’m giving you a treat. You guys don’t have to wait for the PPV for your world title match! Lazer! Undermaster! Come on out now for a title match!”
Lazer was in street clothes, obviously unprepared to wrestle. Undermaster was at least in his ring gear, but was missing his gloves. Fantasy remained at ringside. The two professionals were still able to put on a very good match despite being unprepared.
Late in the contest, Undermaster missed a leg drop and Lazer took advantage to apply the Lazerlock. At that moment, Mr Codger came out to argue with Fantasy about not giving the PPV matches away for free just because he wanted to book one more match at the PPV. The referee was distracted by the argument and tried to break up the co-commissioners. Undermaster tapped, and Lazer released the hold thinking he won. Undermaster took advantage and hit Lazer with a low blow, followed by the Grave Digger to get the pinfall and become World Champion for the first time.

Nov 1990 Weekend Attitude (order of segments changed for dramatic effect)
Mr. Codger visited the ring to address the elephant in the room. “Firstly, I’d like to congratulate Undermaster on his historic first World Title win. You fans all know that Lazer is no pushover, and that Undermaster earned that victory by doing what no one else has been able to do since 1988, and that is to pin Lazer in a one on one match. The title match for next week’s PPV has not changed. However, the elimination match has changed.
Exotic Rick came to me and asked to captain his own team in a second 3v3 elimination match, because he wanted no part of helping anyone get a title shot against his good friend Undermaster. So, Ace will be selecting a new partner tonight.
Finally, Mr. Fantasy, Mr. Tycoon and myself have discussed what happened. No more title matches will be arranged last minute, and beginning next month, both Monday Night Live and Weekend Attitude will also have a 6th segment. As for now, let’s start the show!
1. The Smooth Criminals looked great together in victory over the New Metalheads, Cesar Sleeze and the more gothic Dizzy Lixx. Vegas jumped on a mic and asked for a tag title chance at the PPV. Codger emerged and said he would have an answer for them after he consulted with Mr. Fantasy per their agreement.
2. Teeny Norman returned from his injury with a victory over Jobber Joe. He got a huge pop from the crowd, and after the match, Def Row, Beastheart and Freedom Fighter, who have all been guests on his show, picked him up on their shoulders and carried him to the back.
3. Dragonfly grabbed a mic and went into the audience. “Yoooo, people, how is everybody? Everybody chill? Good stuff. So, I was in the back hanging with Magnifico— and my Cruiserweight Title— and I heard rumors that there was this dude from Japan coming for me next week. I think his name was Make A Sharky or something like that. Anyway, after I got done smoking my... I mean, making my preparations to come out here, I thought to myself, does he like ladders? Cause I think it would be awesome if me and Make A Sorry would have a ladder match. What do you guys think?”
4. Def Row and their insurance policy, Valkyrie, faced off against The Adventurers. Red Pirate Rogers got a nice ovation, and a “You still got it” chant as he hit his signature offense. However, after Arizona Chance hit The Last Crusade on 2-Zap, Valkyrie distracted the ref long enough for BB to break up the pin with a top rope splash onto Chance’s leg, which he previously injured against Average Guy. Chance, clearly injured again, rolled over and tagged in Rogers, who ended up eating a double team move and 2-Zap got the pin. BB jumped on the mic and claimed the new move was called the Def Jam, and they would use it to win the tag titles.
5. Dude Brohan, The Hunk, Freedom Fighter, and Lazer grabbed mics. It was a typical “we’re all going to win” promo until The Hunk mentioned that after he wins, he’s coming after Lazer’s World Title. The two stared each other down, and Brohan intervened— “Let’s just take care of business this Sunday— brothers.” Suddenly Ace appeared on the big screen and announced his partner for the main event: Beer Can Man. The two chugged a beer together and charged the ring with Dr. B and Undermaster. A huge brawl broke out, with all 8 men beating each other all over the arena to close the show.
