Quick July recap: The Van Winkles move on to bigger things after the hilarious Mullets are dealt with. Pop King is on a roll. Slashmaster is pretty much unstoppable. The Insectoids are the best bad tag team. Star Boy is insane. Gorgon Takoro and Lyndi Harker are very, very tired. Great stuff Cotguy!! Thank you, AC. I love this idea. Regarding the last one, I laugh when I think about Wendi Richter and Bull Nakano going an hour. I doubt either went an hour in a month's worth of matches. The Mullets have been the most fun to write for in the 2-1/2 years of game time that I've run. Between the B-Boyz and Van Winkles feud, there have been some moments that I've seen in my mind like a RAW skit (hopefully a good one). There's a denouement to the story still to come because they still aren't allowed back in East Tennessee by the male kinfolk. The Pop King win over Troglo was an actual result from the game itself. It was the first "Dud" match other than the time I repeated a match two shows in a row. The win over O' Hooligan was a "screwjob". Finally, the end result in the "something's wrong with Star Boy" saga might be something you can anticipate.

Superstar Saturday 8/7/82 Canada Centre Great Crowd 1586/46/**
1. We open with Moon Man in the ring. He shows video clips of Star Boy’s recent erratic behavior. He reminds everyone that SB had a phase like this a few months ago that he apologized for. Mr. Bonsai agrees that something is wrong. SB comes out. At first, he’s angry, then he breaks down into this self-pity. He acts like he’s going to punch MM, then he tries to hug him. MM slaps him across the face and tells him to calm down. Now, SB acts like MM hurt his feelings. MM tells SB that he needs help. SB admits it, and says that part of him wants to get help but another part says this is just a phase that will pass. He finally says that he will not leave, even temporarily. MM says that’s fine because I’m going to force you out. MM challenges SB to a loser-leave-WoW match, specifying 90 days. MM says that he’s going to force SB to get help. SB replies that he’s going to win the match, and when MM comes back that he will be three months poorer and have to accept SB for the way he is. They shake hands, but then SB shoves MM to the mat and runs off.
2. In a non-title match, The Blade Blasters defeat The Gladiators. A video of Ryan Regret pops up warning the Gladiators that their ending is near.
3. Mother Russia defeats O’ Hooligan in a mixed-tag match. She did have help from a distraction from Fireball. Fireball disavows having anything to do with Mother, but admits it was fun watching O’ Hooligan get humiliated. Mother yells at Fireball, “Do you want some of this, too?”. Fireball just walks off with a “Don’t even start.”
4. In a Trios tag match, Dude Brohan and Howl n’ Roar defeat Command & Conquer and Dr. B with Countess.
5. Jessie Wild over Brit Buckingham.
6. Jet Set Strutter over Terry Van Winkle by Countout. The Thinker, who did not come to the ring with JSS, shows up and slugs Terry with a loaded fist while JSS distracts the ref.
7. Zen over Vladimir the Cruel.
8. In a non-title match, Slashmaster defeats Dungeon Crawler. Keith Blood joins him in a post-match beating. The Blade Blasters make the save and Buzzsaw and Slash go toe-to-toe again with neither man coming out on top.
9. In the main event, Keith Blood reclaims the Cruiserweight title from The Shark with help from Slash and The Gargoyle. This time, Buzzsaw comes out alone to protest, but the ref’s decision stands. Gargoyle tells Buzzsaw to stay out of Shop of Horror’s business.

Sunday Night Slam 8/15/82 Chitown Complex 1660/44/**
We open with a video clip from earlier today. The entire roster is in and around the ring, good guys and bad guys separated by security, of course. Honest Al is standing in the main entrance aisle and is addressing the assembled group. He is telling them that Mr. Fantasy is still recuperating from the injuries inflicted by the Mad Slave Drivers. He isn’t ready to return to duty, but he will address the crowd to open the Summer Smash P4V in two weeks. He will give the final disposition of the MSDs, and will address a couple of other things. As the crowd was breaking up in a relatively orderly fashion, Gargoyle shouted out that he wonders how Fantasy feels about the Tag Team champions getting involved in the world champion’s business. Buzzsaw replies that he needs to keep his two dolts on a shorter leash and stop giving them reason to get involved. Gargoyle says that the Blade Blasters are angry because they are just paper champions, and he’s going to ask for a rematch when Fantasy returns. This time, they want the titles. Buzzsaw says that he is ready to take on Slashmaster any time, and suggests they open the show with a one-on-one. Honest Al tries to interject saying the show’s been laid out, and Buzzsaw tells him to remember the phrase “card subject to change.” Gargoyle says that Slashmaster will see you in the ring at 8p.
1. We go live, and Slashmaster is in the ring. Buzzsaw charges in. It isn’t much of a wrestling match, as the two men just pound each other. The bell never rings. Refs are trying to pull them apart and are getting tossed around. Finally, Keith Blood trips Buzzsaw and Gargoyle counts a 1-2-3. Lazer is quickly in the ring to protect his partner. Security finally gets some separation and Gargoyle calls his team off.
2. In a rematch, The Shark defeats The Valedictorian again.
3. Dude Brohan is backstage headed to the ring when he’s jumped by members of BASILISK. Again, Dr. B chokes him with his gold chain. Howl n’ Roar, who were waiting for him by the entrance, get word and rush back to help. BASILISK take off, but Brohan is hurt. H n’ R go back to the entrance and head down the aisle for their Trios rematch from last week, this time with elimination rules. As the announcers say that it looks like it will now be a handicap match, Bobby Blitzworth joins them in the ring. H n’R and Blitzworth win the Trios Elimination match with Leo being the sole survivor. Brohan comes out after the match, still shook from the attack. He tells Dr. B that since he like to use chains so much, he’s brought one of his own. His chain is a lot more dangerous than that jewelry around B’s neck, though. He holds up a steel chain. He asks B if he’s willing to be chained to the guy he stabbed in the back for a match. Countess says no, but B accepts.
4. We cut to a video of the latest WoW wrestler appearance on its traditional late-night talk show partner. The guest this week is Almighty Dolla. She starts to talk about her achievements when the host stops her. He asks her about rumors and accusations that have been floating around for over a year now about Dolla’s involvement in some malfeasance in business transactions specifically related to her chain of wrestling schools for women. In addition to questions about her business ethics, there are also questions about her treatment of some of her students. Dolla tries to laugh it off despite being flustered. She calls them a hoax dreamt up by Lyndi Harker to discredit her since she can’t beat her. The host says that Lyndi was supposed to be here tonight, but is ill, so WoW sent somebody else to help me with what has to be done tonight. He introduces Princess Starbright. She enters carrying a folder of papers. Dolla protests loudly and the host tells her to be quiet as the Princess has something official to say. Starbright reads from a piece of paper. “For the duration of this evening, I, Princess Starbright, am an official officer of the company known as Wrestle World. I hold all rights inferred by that title. Almighty Dolla, after over a year’s worth of investigation by the FBI, with WoW assisting, there is now enough evidence to prove that you engaged in illegal and unethical personal and financial wrongdoing associated with your business known as “Dolla’s Wrestling School for Women.” It is not necessary to recount those things at this time. Suffice it to say, WoW has determined that you are no longer a good representative of the company and your contract is terminated effective immediately.” Starbright walked off and Dolla tried to chase her. The Princess turned and slapped Dolla across the face with the folder. Dolla then tried to go after the host, screaming “You set me up”. A security detail which had been quietly moving into place during Starbright’s recitation cut her off. The host told Dolla that she is a terrible person, and he was glad to assist WoW on occasion. He told security to take her to the main lobby…where the FBI was waiting.
5. Back live, The Gramercy Riffs defeat 8-Bit.
6. Red Pirate Rogers defeats Massacre of the Gladiators. Brute attacks, and Arizona Chance makes the save. 7. Mother Russia is with Rex Spectrum. He starts to ask her a question about her win over O’ Hooligan and her challenge to Fireball. She says that she enjoyed beating the chauvinist pig O’ Hooligan. She hopes her learned from it, but she doubts it. She says her challenge to Fireball was something that just came out in the heat of the moment, but she’s not really interested in wrestling him. Rex reminds her that Fireball’s distraction helped her get the win. She changes the subject and asks Rex if he’s heard the news about her and Gargoyle. Rex asks if they are having a double-wedding with Tiki and Norman. She says that she would cut him off, but she wants him to hear this. Gargoyle is giving her The Annihilator. “In effect, my man will be beating up you, Rex. He’s out getting upgraded right now, or I would have him come out here and dismantle you.” Roboelectro walks out and Mother runs off.
8. In a steel cage match with a Loser-Leaves-WoW for 90 days’ stipulation, Moon Man defeats Star Boy. Surprisingly, the match is wrestled very cleanly, with Star Boy not falling into any of his recent unusual behavior. The cage never came into play at all. After the pin, SB pleads with MM not too force him to leave, saying that he just wrestled an entire match inside a cage and nothing happened. He insisted he was fine. MM says that “the deal was for you to get help. I can’t make you do that, but you need time away. I promise you this. If you come back in 90 days and are acting the same…I will run you out of the company permanently.” MM walks out of the cage leaving a despondent looking Star Boy staring after him.
9. In the main event Ladies’ Title match, Lyndi Harker successfully retains against Auntie Voodoo. After the match, Harker calls out Princess Starbright. She thanks The Princess for filling in for her on the talk-show. She got to watch it, and thought the whole thing was wonderful. She said that she’d been reading some of the follow-up to Dolla’s arrest in the paper, and it looked like she would be going away for a long time. She was personally going to set-up a program to help Dolla’s former students who were financially and personally harmed by Dolla’s actions. Suddenly, the entire ladies’ roster, except the BASILISK contingent, came out and stood on the entrance way. The Queen of Mean took the mic. “There are a lot of women in this group who don’t like each other. However, none of us liked or respected Dolla. All of her years in the business and all of her accomplishments were overshadowed by her unconscionable behavior outside the squared circle. She was a blight on women’s wrestling, and the future is brighter because she won’t be a part of it. All of us, some more begrudgingly than others, thank you.” The assembled group and the live crowd gave her a standing ovation.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 8/21/82 Empire Gardens Sold Out/45/***
1. We open with an interview with Ninja Star. He talks first about Slashmaster, and says he’s the toughest man in the business, period. He doesn’t know what it’s going to take to dethrone him, but Ninja will figure it out. He then says that he wants to talk about his reason for being away for a while. He was researching BASILISK. He’s found out that the cell run by Countess and Iron Mask, the one active in WoW, is actually a splinter group. While BASILISK at higher levels doesn’t disavow them, they aren’t considered an active cell. They do not have the financial or logistical backing of the greater organization. He doesn’t want to say much more, but there are ways this info can be leveraged to the advantage of WoW.
2. Jet Set Strutter defeats Damon Van Winkle. He tells Damon that the Van Winkles are 0-for-Strutter. Terry comes out and says that you beat me because The Thinker cold-cocked me from behind. Strutter says to get the match signed and he will be there. Can he say the same for Terry Van Winkle?
3. Mighty Leo defeated Dr. B.
4. Next up is a 20-man battle royal for a $20,000 cash bonus. The participants are: Troglo/Roboelectro/O’ Hooligan/Valedictorian/War Hawk/Zen/Max Attack/Johnny Kobra/Reptile Ranger/Soul Daddy/He-Beast/Dungeon Crawler/Mr. Tycoon/Pop King/and eventual winner…Fireball. He-Beast had said in a pre-match interview that if he won that he was going to donate his winnings to a relief fund for displaced Cimmeternians. The final two were He-Beast and Fireball. After the win, Fireball announced that he was donating $10,000 to the Cimmeternians relief fund.
5. Honest Al is walking backstage with a cameraman when he holds up his hand for the cameraman to stop and be quiet. He motions around a corner. The Cameraman slowly edges around a corner and hides behind a storage rack. We see Uncle Eros with Cesar Sleeze and Valley Girl. Sleeze is telling Eros that none of the promises he made have come to reality. He still hasn’t received a TV title rematch, and Valley Girl hasn’t had a Ladies’ title shot in ages. Eros admits the politics have changed since Fantasy left, but he’s getting a handle on it and is ready to make his big move. Sleeze says that “we aren’t giving you 45% for nothing in return.” Al’s voice can be heard whispering over the cameraman’s shoulder, “45%!!!”. Eros replies that he’s not taking nearly half of their combined incomes without giving something back.” Both Sleeze and Val say, “That is almost half...hey!!”. Eros says that he has a plan. At that point, the cameraman sneezes. You can hear Al say “run” and the camera cuts off.
6. The Adventurers defeat The Gladiators.
7. The Shark over Pelvis Presley. Presley is by himself.
8. The Neon Express are in the ring. Chet tells Jessie that he has something he needs to tell him. Jessie says the same thing, but that Chet should go first. Chet says Jessie should go first. They go back and forth for a second, and then they blurt out at the same time, “I entered the cruiserweight cup.” Then together, “why didn’t you tell me?” Then, “I am telling you now.” They both started laughing and fist bumped. Chet said that he thought Jessie would be upset if he wanted to do something outside the team. Jessie said that he felt the same way when he decided to do it, but obviously they are both fine with it. Chet says that he guarantees that one of the Neons will be in the final. Jessie asks if he’s kidding. “We’re going to be the final match…and I’ll be the winner.” Chet shows mock anger, and then the two meet dive into the crowd.
9. Keith Blood, with Gargoyle, retains the Cruiserweight Championship against Devin Van Winkle.

Summer Smash 8/28/82 Golden Plaza 4255/48/***
The show begins with a video statement from Mr. Fantasy. He apologizes for not being there live, but he a setback in his physical therapy caused the doctors to keep him from travelling. He opens by saying that this is the last time you will see him on WoW TV. Some of his colleagues had warned him that by becoming a TV personality, like the wrestlers, he was opening himself up to exactly what happened. They knew there were wrestlers out there who had no respect for his position and would lash out just like the Mad Slave Drivers did. Fantasy admitted that he was naïve, and assumed that his wrestlers had enough respect not only for him but for themselves, and would act appropriately. He was wrong. So, he’s removing himself from TV. Honest Al will continue to be his voice even after he returns. However, before he goes, there’s one bit of business he wants to handle himself. People ask me what I’m going to do with the MSD. Are you going to fire them, or let wrestlers get revenge for you in the ring? Of course, I’m firing them. Any wrestler who steps in the ring as my proxy has a chance of losing, no matter who you are, and making me look worse. Big Thuggee was the mastermind behind all this, so he and the mini thug are gone. They’ve already been informed. Since this was a “for cause” termination, we will be invoking all non-competes to the fullest extent. He says that he could, by all rights, file criminal assault charges, but he is choosing not to do so. By acting as a TV personality instead of sticking to his actual job, he put himself in that risk. It’s the only concession that he will make. As for The Mad Arab, Fantasy says that he’s just an idiot follower. Right before all this went down, Fireball had challenged The Mad Arab. Well, that match is on, but it will be for The Arab’s contract. If Fireball wins, Arab’s gone and Fireball gets a hefty bonus. That match will be scheduled ASAP. He thanks everyone for their time, and says he hopes they enjoy the matches.
1. In the opening match, Keith Blood retains the Cruiserweight Championship with a win over The Shark.
2. In a dog-collar chain match, Dude Brohan defeats Dr. B with Countess.
3. The Adventurers are in the ring. Arizona says that while he and the Pirate don’t make a lot of noise about things, there are things they want. They have goals. Chance says that he’s been World champ. It feels great and he wants it again. Right now, he’s focused on the Adventurers, and he and Pirate have proven they’re ready to step up. They challenge the winners of the Blade Blasters versus Howl n’ Roar match later in the show.
4. El Presidente defeats Moon Man to retain the TV Title.
5. Jet Set Strutter over Terry Van Winkle. JSS calls out Devin Van Winkle and asks if he’s ready to be embarrassed like his brothers.
6. Howl n’ Roar become 5-time WoW Tag Team Champions with a big win over The Blade Blasters.
7. A commercial airs for the Cruiserweight Cup Tournament in 4 weeks. Chet Skye, Jessie Wild, Zen, and the debuting Dicky Thunderbird all offer their opinions on the tournament. The field is rounded out by Devin Van Winkle, Max Attack, Chameleon Kid, and defending tournament champion, Keith Blood.
8. We get another title change as Mother Russia wins the Ladies’ Championship from Lyndi Harker.
9. Slashmaster retain the WoW World Title with a successful defense against Ninja Star. As Star is returning to the back, he is attacked by Dr. B, Iron Mask, and Copper Commander. Dude Brohan and He-Beast make the save.

Superstar Saturday 9/4/82 The Ballroom Sold Out 1052/40/**
1. In the first match of the night, Gothica gets a win over Auntie Voodoo.
2. In a tag team match, Gramercy Riffs defeat the American Heroes.
3. Countess, Succubus, Iron Mask, and Copper Commander are out. Countess says that she has two corrections for Ninja Star’s little “revelation” last week. Anything an outsider reveals about BASILISK is a lie. No one finds out anything about BASILISK that they don’t want them to know. Whoever gave Star this information knows nothing. Second, Star referred to BASILISK WoW as being run by Countess and Iron Mask. She says that everyone should understand one thing…she runs BASILISK, period. Iron Mask is aware of, and comfortable with, his position in the organization.
4. Troglo gets a measure of revenge with a win over Pop King.
5. Max Attack over Cesar Sleeze with Valley Girl. Val tries flirting with Max to distract him, but he tells her that she’s not his type. He prefers his women to have a brain.
6. In a lumberjack match, The Mad Arab defeats Fireball to keep his WoW contract. Fireball’s lumberjacks were Arizona Chance, Red Pirate Rogers, Reptile Ranger, and He-Beast. The Arab’s ‘jacks were GoblinKnight, Zombie Punk, The Annihilator, and Troglo. The announcers revealed that nobody volunteered to be at ringside with the Arab, so Troglo, The Zombie, and The Goblin had to be coerced, and Mother Russia had to be given a bonus to allow Annihilator to be used. However, it appeared after the finish that Troglo’s reluctance was an act, as his distraction allowed The Arab to get the win. The team of Barbaric Nature seems to have been reborn. Fireball, his crew, and The Annihilator left the area. BN attacked Ghoul & Goblin who were hanging around not sure what to do next.
7. The Shark and Vladimir the Cruel went to a 20-minute time-limit draw.
8. Valley Girl, with Uncle Eros, defeated Princess Starbright.
9. In a three-way match, Dr. B, with Countess, defeated Ninja Star and Slashmaster by pinning Star. Countess immediately challenged Slashmaster to a title match, and Gargoyle accepted.

Sunday Night Slam 9/12/82 Boston Arena Sold Out 1595/41/***
1. Our opener is mixed-tag which sees Aurora and He-Beast defeat Countess and Copper Commander.
2. Mr. Tycoon defeated Jessie Wild.
3. Mynx defeated Chaka Crass. In a surprise development, Mynx was seconded by Mighty Leo.
4. Average Guy over Troglo.
5. Chet Skye over Yuppie VP. Mr. Tycoon hit the ring afterwards, and Jessie Wild made the save.
6. Dude Brohan is up for an interview. He shows footage of him beating Dr. B in the dog-collar chain match, and then wonders how B got put in a match which gave him a title shot. Brohan asks what’s wrong with that picture? He speculates that BASILISK must have some people intimidated. He’s not intimidated by anything or anyone, and B is going down and then Slashmaster’s going down.
7. Ghoul n’ Goblin over The Insectoids.
8. The Gramercy Riffs are out. Soul Daddy launches into an odd tirade about phonies who talk about soldiers and their sacrifices, but then ignore the plight of the people from the street. He calls “street tough” more dangerous than “soldier tough”, and says they proved that the way they handled the so-called “American Heroes.” He and Johnny K are the real heroes in this story. They pulled themselves up from the gutter to become a top tag team in pro wrestling. Hawk and Zone are two guys living off public opinion from idiots who believe a lie. He says the Heroes Are Zeroes, and the Riffs will run them out if the Zeroes decide to get all “Gung Ho”. The announcers follow this up by saying that the views of Soul Daddy do not reflect the views of WoW.
9. In a World title match, Slashmaster, with The Gargoyle, defeats Dr. B with Countess. Dude Brohan comes out and challenges them both to a three-way match.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 9/18/82 Canada Centre Sold Out 1830/43/**
1. The opening match is scheduled to be Aurora vs. Countess. Dr. B is with Countess and refuses to leave. He-Beast comes out to join his sister. Of course, Countess and B protest his presence. The ref is about to send the guys to the back or call off the match when the ring announcer says that he’s received word from the office that it’s now a mixed-tag match. The siblings defeat BASILISK when He-Beast pins Dr. B. After the match, Succubus comes down to attack Aurora as Countess and B keep He-Beast occupied. Lyndi Harker comes down to make the save and she and Succubus start fighting.
2. The ring announcer interrupts again and says the office is making Harker vs. Succubus right now! With the Countess’ help, Succubus defeats Lyndi Harker. Aurora tries to help her friend, but Dr. B grabs her. He-Beast tries to help, but is attacked by Command & Conquer. B holds down Harker and Aurora while Countess and Succubus put the boots to them. Dude Brohan comes out. He grabs Copper Commander and throws him over the guard rail. He-Beast takes off after him. Brohan goes after B, but he and the BASILISK ladies flee.
3. The ring announcer jumps in again and says that the office has decided throw the format out the window. They are making Dude Brohan vs. Iron Mask right now!! Mask surprises everyone by getting a win over Brohan. The distractions caused by a returning Dr. B and Copper Commander helped him get the win. Honest Al came out and said that anyone affiliated with BASILISK had 10 minutes to get out of the building. If they were spotted again tonight, they would be heavily fined and suspended.
4. In the first scheduled match of the show, Shop of Horrors, with Gargoyle, defeat The Blade Blasters once again.
5. Cesar Sleeze, with Valley Girl, over Crash. Uncle Eros comes out afterwards to congratulate his charge. He tries to get Val to hug her teammate as a show of support, but she looks like she’d rather be sick. Sleeze is all for it, but to no avail.
6. A video shows a big white limo driving through the streets of a city. It pulls up in front of Graceland. The driver gets out and goes to the trunk. He opens the trunk, and both Mullets, bound and blindfolded, are uncomfortably curled up in the trunk. The driver cuts the ropes so they can crawl out. They are still blindfolded. The driver leads them to a side door. The window comes down and Big Boss Jr. is in there with Pelvis Presley and an unknown woman in the facing seat. Boss tells them that despite being huge failures, he kept his promise and got them into Tennessee. Cletus says he can smell that Smoky Mountain air just as a car drives by and blows black smoke all over them. Boss says he thinks the mountains are that ways, and tells the driver to go. Cletus and Zeke stand there for a few seconds blindfolded as a crowd gathers. Cletus peeks over the blindfold and then rips it off in disgust. He pulls Zeke’s off. Zeke sees Graceland and starts jumping up and down like a kid with a new toy. Cletus says that “Boss promised to get us into Tennessee.” A passerby says that Memphis is in Tennessee. Cletus replies, “Lady, we’re so gol darn fur away from where we need to be that we might as well be in Arkansas!!”
7. The Executors over The Gladiators in a No-Holds-Barred Match. Ryan Regret comes on the video screen. He tells both teams that “the wait is almost over, and all four of your ungrateful ingrates will regret the day you crossed Ryan…Regret.” Brute tells him that they’re tired of waiting and tired of his threats. Regret says that’s fine, it’s time to turn threats into reality. The Mad Arab and Troglo, Barbaric Nature, come out from beneath the ring behind both teams. They lay into all four with chairs, Troglo’s club, and assorted plunder. Spazz and Massacre are both bleeding badly. Regret comes on to the entrance area ad calls his team to join him.
8. The American Heroes have something to say. Hawk says that he actually understands where Soul Daddy is coming from, but he can’t be allowed to talk about America’s military so disrespectfully. There’s a way to make your point without sounding like a thug, but SD doesn’t understand that. Zone says that he and Hawk have a discipline that the Riffs don’t, and this will be the difference.
9. El Presidente retains the TV Title over the Shark.

He tells her “you’re welcome.” He knows beating him was what charged her up and enabled her to win the title. He grabs a bottle off the shelf behind the bar and takes a huge pull. Superstar Saturday 10/2/82 Chitown Complex Great Crowd 1413/44/**
Honest Al opened the show by announcing that, after their actions last week where they attempted to hi-jack the show, BASILISK were banned from the building for tonight’s show.
1. The Adventurers, continuing their climb to a WoW Tag Team title match, get a countout win over Wall Street. Tycoon and VP declare The Adventurers “not worthy of their time”, and walk off.
2. The Queen of Mean over Gothica.
. Next up is a three-way between Valedictorian, Dicky Thunderbird, and Fireball. Before the match, El Presidente came out. He reminded everyone of Fireball’s challenge last week. He never answered, but it wasn’t because he was concerned about losing to Fireball but because he felt Fireball didn’t deserve it in the first place. He’s decided to let Fireball, or anyone else in the ring right now, prove their worthiness. The winner gets a TV title match. Fireball goes on to win the match and earn the title shot.
4. Barbaric Nature, with Ryan Regret, destroy Nerd Alert. This was scheduled to be the Executors, but Spazz hadn’t been cleared to wrestle after the attack by BN last week.
5. Moon Man over Brit Buckingham.
6. Slashmaster defeats Blade Blaster Buzzsaw in a non-title match. Keith Blood attacks after the match. Lazer comes out and the two teams brawl for a while before being broken up.
7. He-Beast over Vladimir the Cruel. Vlad was subbing for Dr. B who was out due to the BASILISK ban.
8. Devin Van Winkle thrills the crowd with an upset win over Jet Set Strutter. JSS demands a rematch ASAP. He accuses the ref of showing bias, and having a fast count on the winning pinfall.
9. Jessie Wild wins the Cruiserweight Championship from Keith Blood. Slashmaster tries to attack, but his Neon Express partner, Chet Skye, helps him escape.

1. Auntie Voodoo over Gothica.
2. Average Guy over Zombie Punk in a surprisingly good match.
3. Next is a 10-Man Battle Royal for the participants were: Bobby Blitzworth/Cesar Sleeze/Terry Van Winkle/Moon Man/Valedictorian/Dicky Thunderbird/Ninja Star/Pop King/The Shark/And eventual winner…Reptile Ranger. Valley Girl came to ringside with Cesar Sleeze. During the match, Sleeze saw Blitzworth, who had previously been eliminated, talking to Val. He jumped over the top rope, eliminating himself, to attack Blitz. Val called him an idiot for costing himself the match. Dicky Thunderbird and The Valedictorian spent a lot of time battling one another.
4. The Adventurers, Arizona Chance and Red Pirate Rogers, are backstage. They are talking about their countout win over Wall Street, and how they don’t like winning that way. They mocked Tycoon’s excuse making about how they weren’t worth Wall Street’s time. Chance said they would get another match soon, and they would beat Wall Street before they even think to walk out.
5. Barbaric Nature, with Ryan Regret, over The Executors. 6. He-Beast over Iron Mask.
7. We come in during a conversation with the Blade Blasters and Howl n’ Roar. Both team are talking about how tough Shop of Horrors is, specifically Slashmaster. Lazer tries to offer advice, but Michael T. Wolf cuts him off and asks him why he thinks they should take advice from a team that can’t beat SoH. Lazer says he's sorry for just trying to help. Wolf says they should worry about helping themselves. Lazer doesn’t understand where all this hostility is coming from. Leo says it’s not hostility, it’s honesty. Howl n Roar are 5-time champions, but people still sell them short. He reminds them that Howl n’ Roar won the title off the Blasters, so who’s the better team right now. An agitated Buzzsaw starts to get in Leo’s face, but Lazer tells him that they will go. H n’ R are obviously worried about their title defense against SoH next week, and it’s affecting their judgement. They are about to pick a fight they won’t win. Wolf says they already have.
8. In a steel cage match, The Annihilator defeated Roboelectro.
9. In a TV title match, Fireball wins the title from El Presidente in a match of the year candidate.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 10/16/82 The Ballroom Great Crowd 1260/43/***
1. Chet Skye and Jessie Wild are in the ring. Chet jokes about wanting a cruiserweight title match. Jessie jokes back and Chet isn’t happy. Jessie asks if he was serious, and Chet replies “why wouldn’t I be?” Jessie says that Chet won’t even let him enjoy the moment before getting in his face. Chet replies that he can’t believe that he even had to bring it up. If the roles were reversed, he would’ve offered Jess a title shot ASAP. Jessie offers to let Chet hold the belt if it will make him feel better. Chet smiles and says he was just joking all along. Jessie seems relieved and says that you have a title shot coming.
2. Dr. B over He-Beast.
3. Barbaric Nature, with Ryan Regret, over The Gladiators. Ryan Regret says that revenge was easier than he thought. Two weeks, two enemies vanquished.
4. Danger Zone, with War Hawk, over Johnny Kobra, with Soul Daddy.
5. Rex Spectrum is with Roboelectro. Rex says he’s disappointed in Robo’s performance. Of course, being upset at Robo is almost like being upset at himself since he is partially Robo. However, he’s the brains of the operation, and it’s the brawns that aren’t getting the job done. He tells Robo not to let him down against Annihilator, and once that distractions out of the way, he will be refocused on Slashmaster. Rex isn’t satisfied at the amount of payback Slash’s received for smashing the TV.
6. We are in the secret cemetery that we’ve seen many times before. The fog is especially thick. We see a shape in the fog. A familiar voice says that he’s returned, and he has a mission in mind. The people will discover that mission when the time is right. All they can do know is wait and watch…the figure steps into the open…while Skullgore schemes.
7. The Adventurers over Wall Street. Honest Al comes out and says that The Adventurers will get a tag title shot next week at Halloween Hellraiser against the winner of the Shop of Horrors versus Howl n’ Roar match in the main event.
8. Succubus, with Countess, over Gothica.
9. Slashmaster becomes the first person to hold two titles simultaneously when Shop of Horrors defeat Howl n’ Roar to win the WoW Tag Team Titles. As the show closes, the announcers say that Slash will have to wrestle twice next week at Halloween Hellraiser. If he walks away with both titles next week, it will signal a dominance that WoW has never, nor will ever, see again.

Halloween Hellraiser 10/24/82 Silver Stadium Sold Out 15160/48/***
1. Cesar Sleeze is sitting by himself. Average Guy walks up and asks what’s wrong. He then says that he knows what’s wrong, because he’s seen Sleeze trying to get with Valley Girl and she won’t go for him. Guy says that Sleeze’s come to the right place. Uncle Eros don’t know nothing about the ladies. Guy says he will give him some tips on how to wow the sweet young things. He promises that he will get a kiss from the next lady to come around the corner. The next lady is Succubus. She bares her fangs and hisses at Guy. Guy says she’s “too bitey”. He makes the promise again and The Queen of Scream comes by. She screams in his face. Guy says she’s “too loud.” Guy says he will get it right this time, and Gorgon Tokoro walks by. She goes for the kiss, but Guy says “hell no” and runs off. Sleeze looks at the camera, shrugs, and starts kissing Tokoro as the camera quickly cuts.
2. Fireball successfully defends the TV title against El Presidente.
3. In a No-Holds-Barred match, Countess defeats Aurora. Succubus and Tokoro come out to join in the attack. Harker and Gothica make the save. Aurora needs medical attention before heading to the back with help.
4. Shop of Horrors successfully defend the WoW Tag Team Titles against The Adventurers.
5. Jet Set Strutter gives an interview about the Van Winkles. He says that he admires their work against The Mullets and Pelvis, but they need to know their place. Their place is not running with the big dogs like JSS. It’s killing time with the other small fish till the real stars arrive. He reiterates that a fast count cost him the match against Devin Van Winkle, and demands a chance to prove his actual superiority.
6. Slashmaster successfully defends the WoW World title against Ninja Star. After the match, Slash appears to be moving more gingerly than in the past, and the announcers wonder if he’s bitten of more than even he can chew, or, as they said last week, is this the future of WoW? Not BASILISK, not the Cimmeternians, not the Van Winkles, but Slashmaster!!

Superstar Saturday 11/6/82 Golden Plaza Great Crowd 1016/47/**
1. In an opening three-way match, Blade Blaster Lazer defeated Keith Blood and Mighty Leo. When the match began, it seemed that Leo and Lazer had patched up the differences that we saw between their teams a few weeks ago. However, Keith Blood pulled Leo in the way of a Lazer Blade Splash which resulted in the pinfall. The competitors had no one at ringside during the match, but Michael T. Wolf quickly showed up and got in Lazer’s face. Leo tried to separate them, but Lazer in the confusion Lazer hit Leo. Buzzsaw arrived the two teams squared up. They were separated before any further altercations occurred.
2. Succubus, with Countess, over Princess Starbright.
3. As soon as the preceding match is over, He-Beast, Dude Brohan, Lyndi Harker, and Gothica come to the ring. Gothica and Succubus look like they are about to go at it, but Countess holds her back. He-Beast says that his sister should be out here leading this group, but she’s recovering from injuries that the BASILISK cowards caused. Brohan follows up by saying that he’s not one to get caught up in the whole international clandestine spy stuff that BASILISK is supposed to be about, but he knows bad dudes and bad women when he sees them. He’s here to help Aurora, He-Beast, and the rest run BASILISK out of town. Harker calls Aurora her “sister-in-spirit”, and says that while they might not have too much in common with Gothica, she wants to get her hands on Succubus in the worst way. Gothica just nods. He-Beast says that Ninja Star is onboard as well, and thanks him for being an invaluable source of info on BASILISK. He says he won’t make any promises on when and where, but he does promise that BASILISK will go down.
4. After commercial break, members of BASILISK are in the ring, Countess, Dr. B, Gorgon Tokoro, and Command & Conquer. Countess says that every word out of the mouths of those disgusting wanna-be heroes was a joke. She tells He-Beast and Aurora to accept the fact that the battles over. Cimmeternia’s not coming back…BASILISK has already won the battles and the war. All victories going forward are just more evidence of their natural superiority. Iron Mask then says that “when they talk about ending BASILISK, they prove their ignorance. You can no more end BASILISK than you can end a mountain. Our core runs to the center of the Earth. We are everywhere. Like an iceberg, the most dangerous parts aren’t even visible. We run society from the shadows, but not out of any fear of reprisal. BASILISK can see in the dark, but the sheep, the mindless zombies that comprise society, never see it coming until the damage is done. Unlike that ridiculous Coalition from last year, BASILISK would never accept any stipulations requiring it to end. That would be as ridiculous as a stipulation not allowing the tides to come in and out. You can’t regulate a force of nature. As Countess has said numerous times, WoW accept your fate.”
5. Chet Skye defeats Cesar Sleeze.
6. Dicky Thunderbird over The Valedictorian in what might be the best match of 1982.
7. Roboelectro over Pelvis Presley, with Big Boss, Jr. Robo (speaking as Rex Spectrum) says that this unit’s undergone some upgrades that need testing before facing the Annihilator again.
8. Once again, Devin Van Winkle defeats Jet Set Strutter. This time, in an obviously planned ambush, Wall Street attack Devin and his brothers. JSS puts the 6-Figure Leglock on Devin and holds it while WS work over the Van Winkles. The three men leave together celebrating their assault.
9. Fireball retains the TV title with a win over The Annihilator.

The host shows a clip from O’ Hooligan’s promo from the Pub segment a few weeks ago. The host tells O’ Hooligan that WoW wants to give him a forum away from the ring to talk about what’s going on with him. He’s barely been in contact with the office since that event. O’ Hooligan seems to gather himself some, and starts talking about his time in WoW. After a few minutes, the narrative seems to be rambling again. The host tries to focus him by asking about Mother Russia. As soon as the host says her name, O’ Hooligan jumps from his across the host’s desk and takes a swing. The host falls backward out of his chair and tries to crawl away. O’ Hooligan’s about to jump on him again when studio security mob him. He begins fighting them as they fade to commercial.
