My WoW took an unintentional Christmas break i.e. I got busier with stuff than I'd expected.
If you're still out there, the posting will commence immediately.
Thank you for your patience.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 2/19/83 Chitown Complex Sold Out 1890/43/***
We open on a scene that’s labelled as having been taped earlier in the evening. Honest Al is addressing the assembled roster. He’s talking about the wedding of Madame Tiki and Teeny Norman. When we enter the conversation, we hear Al say that there will be “no interruptions” to the ceremony. This is a mandate from Mr. Fantasy and the Committee. The Gargoyle is standing right up front with his crew, and Al points directly at him and asks if he understands. Slashmaster’s status as multiple champion will carry no weight should he involve himself. There will be fines, suspensions, bannings, title vacatings, etc. for those who break this rule. Gargoyle says that they will comply because it suits him to comply. Tiki and Norman were gnats when they crippled them, and are less than that now. Al looks like he’s going to punch Gargoyle, but Skullgore steps up. Al says if it were up to him, this whole crew of freaks would’ve been gone long ago. He makes the assembly repeat one more time that they understand the rule. Even after that, he looks in the camera and says “I still don’t trust half of them.”
1. In a three-way ladies’ match, Gothica beat Auntie Voodoo and Succubus.
2. Chameleon Kid defeated Yuppie VP. After the loss, Yuppie beat the Kid down with his metal briefcase in a savage attack.
3. Mighty Leo and Mynx defeated He-Beast and Aurora in what started out as a civil match. By the end, however, the two ladies were ready to tear into one another. H.B. and Leo worked together to try and separate them.
4. We see Uncle Eros, Cesar Sleeze, and Valley Girl backstage. Eros is telling Val that for his plan to work, she has to at least act like she cares about Sleeze. Today, of all days, with love in the air due to the upcoming wedding, would be perfect. Val says that she can’t fake it. She finds him disgusting. If that’s all Eros can do for her, then she’s done with their partnership. Sleeze pulls out a box of candy and a dozen roses. He tells Val that he’s not acting. He really does have feeling for her. She seems surprised and a little flattered. She didn’t think he could love anyone but himself. Eros seems encouraged by this development. She accepts the roses, and the slaps Sleeze across the face with the dozen. She picks up the box of candy that he’d dropped, and throws it at Eros with a “I think your fat ass needs candy more than I do. That’s it, Unc. I’m out of here.” She struts off, leaving Eros and Sleeze covered in chocolates and rose petals. Eros starts to threaten her, and Sleeze tells him to shut up.
5. In a tag team match, Conquer & Command defeat the American Heroes.
6. The Mad Arab over Bobby Blitzworth. Ryan Regret and Troglo were both at ringside, but Blitz did a great job of thwarting their interference attempts. Cutthroat Carter sneak to ringside and blasts Bobby with a shot from his football helmet while Regret distracts the ref. Arab get the pin. Carter joins Barbaric Nature in a beatdown of Blitz as Regret introduces Carter as his newest client.
7. Jessie Wild successfully retained the Cruiserweight title by defeating Devin Van Winkle. 8. There’s an intermission as the ring crew sets up for the wedding in the ring. Members of the wedding party speak in pre-taped segments about how excited they are for this, and especially how Teeny Norman has recovered to the point that he is able to go through with the ceremony. The officiant is the recently ordained Arizona Chance. Chance comes out and says a few words. Then, the wedding party makes their way to the ring. The Best Man, Dude Brohan, and The Maid of Honor, Lyndi Harker, come down first, followed by He-Beast and Aurora, The Shark and Glam, and Moon Man and Princess Starbright. Norman, still using a walker, joins Brohan at the front. The traditional music hits, and Madame Tiki, in a Polynesian-themed wedding dress, makes her way to the ring. She and Norman join hands at the altar, and the service begins. The service goes smoothly…until…Chance asks the traditional question “is there anyone who would oppose this marriage?” It happens. The lights go out. A semi-familiar voice is heard to say “I do. Why? I’m a miserable, wretched scumbag who doesn’t think anyone should be happy if I can’t be happy”. We hear a thud. The lights come up, and Star Boy is holding a metal pipe in his hand, standing over the fallen Arizona Chance. SB’s costume looks different as well. The groomsmen step forward, but Star Boy runs to Norman and applies a chokehold. He tells everyone to back up. Moon Man pleads with him to let Norman go. Star Boy tells him to shut up, then says he wants to thank him. Without “Moonbeams” insistence that I get help, I would never have met my therapist. A giant in a black and white with a mask comes to the ring. SB says that “this is my therapist; you may call him Dark Invader. By the way, Star Boy is dead. I am Death Star Boy.” With that, DSB grabs Norman’s walker and shoves him over on top of it. He gets in a couple of hard kicks before diving out of the ring to avoid the groomsmen. Simultaneously, Dark Invader charged at Madame Tiki. She looked ready to fight, but Dude Brohan stepped in the way and was blasted with a huge shoulder block. Tiki’s attendants surrounded her as He-Beast turned his attention to Dark Invader. Shark and Moon Man were tending to Norman. Dark Invader grabbed the arch that the wedding party had been standing under, and pulled it down onto He-Beast before leaving the ring himself. He and DSB met halfway up the ramp as security and medical personnel tried to get to the ring. Honest Al came out and got in DSB’s face. He was levelled with a hard right. DSB and DI made their way to the top of the ramp and surveyed the chaos they’d caused. There was another brief tussle as security tried to force them out, and they left on their own. The ring announcer asked people to clear the building as quickly and safely as possible.

St. Valentine’s Day Massacre 2/27/83 Prince Charlie Hall Sold Out 2885/46/***
WoW is in the United Kingdom for the first time!! We open with footage of WoW wrestlers sightseeing around the country. We then cut to Honest Al who is sporting a black eye. He apologizes for having to change the mood so drastically, but says that last week must be addressed. While this show is called the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, last week’s show was more akin to an actual event of that name. They show the video of the wedding. He updates everyone by telling us that all parties involved are going to be ok, long-term. Arizona Chance and Dude Brohan are here for their matches. Of course, the most concern is for Teeny Norman. His recovery from his prior injuries had just reached the point that he could participate in the ceremony. Now, after the assault, there have been several setbacks. The extent of these setbacks has not been released to the public. Al says that in what he considers to be the final travesty in this whole thing, A match between Death Star Boy and The Shark has been added to tonight’s card. The existing roster was threatened with severe discipline if they interfered, yet two guys not currently under contract are being brought even after having engaged in those actions. Al says he doesn’t understand it, and will get to the bottom of it.
1) In the opener, Bobby Blitzworth defeated Cutthroat Carter with Ryan Regret.
2) We’re back in the cemetery with Skullgore, GoblinKnight, and Zombie Punk. We are near the mausoleum again where the blood-bonding ceremony took place between Skullgore and The Gargoyle. Skullgore opens the creaky stone door. He grabs Zombie and Goblin by the backs of their necks and shoves them both in the mausoleum before slamming the door. He chants in an unknown language briefly before exiting.
3) Aurora defeats Mynx. He-Beast and Mighty Leo were at ringside trying to keep the wrestling match from devolving into a catfight. After the match, the two male wrestlers insisted the women shake hands, which they did begrudgingly.
4) Shop of Horrors successfully defend the WoW Tag Team Titles against The Adventurers.
5) The Annihilator defeated Roboelectro in a great match. After the match, a crewman pushed Rex Spectrum’s TV onto the entrance. Rex’ face appeared. He said that obviously Roboelectro was not the answer he was looking for. In fact, it has taken so long to get to this point that he almost forgot he brought Robo in to face Slashmaster. If Robo can’t handle Annihilator any better than he has, then Slash is out of the question. He tells Robo to find somebody else to keep him powered. At that, all the lights on Robo’s body go dark and he very stiffly falls to the ground. It takes several crewman and security guards to carry Roboelectro “body” to the back.
6) The Shark’s music plays, but he doesn’t come out. A minute later, Death Star Boy walks out to no music or fanfare. He has a mic. He says that he couldn’t help but notice that shiner Al was sporting. He guesses Shark saw it too, and that’s why he’s scared to come out. He said the only apology he will make to Al, Tiki, Norman, or anyone else involved last week was that he’s sorry that he and Dark Invader weren’t able to inflict more damage than they did. If Brohan hadn’t interfered, DI was going to cripple Tiki “with malice aforethought. Oh, well, it will be fun to cripple Brohan now. We can take care of Tiki later.” He continues by saying that people shouldn’t worry their little heads about why WoW is letting he and DI fight. “You see, we don’t need your money, and we’re so bound and determind to make everyone miserable SOB like I am that we will do it for free.” At this point, an obviously beaten Shark staggered out from the entrance. DSB acted surprised. He dragged Shark to the ring, threw him in, and called for the bell. The ref refused, but the ring announcer said that he’s received word from the Office that this was official. The bell rang, and DSB pinned Shark. Dark Invader walked out and held DSB’s hand high.
7) Honest Al is with Valedictorian. He calls it a joke that Dicky Thunderbird is getting another title shot tonight. Al says it’s because their match in Japan was so well-received. Val asks who “well-received” it. “If it’s these cretins that pass for WoW fans, what do you expect? They “well-receive” losers like Brohan, Chance, Fireball, and all their little pals. Title shots should be earned, not given because the idiots like a guy.” He says that he will not accept Dicky Thunderbird being champion before he even has a shot, and that it will not happen.
8) Dude Brohan and Lyndi Harker defeat Countess and Dr. B. Brohan is still showing the effects of the attack by Dark Invader last week. He and Harker manage to pull out a win when he pins B after a Big Bro Leg Drop. Brohan asks for a mic. He says that he and Harker don’t care about BASILISK anymore. Right now, their focus is on Dark Invader and Death Star Boy. Brohan says that if they’re willing to fight for free, then they will get a beating for free. He challenges Dark Invader, and Harker says that she wants DSB on behalf of Madame Tiki. DSB and DI come back out. DSB says the name’s Evil Empire. Brohan says to call them the Rebellion then, and it will end the same way.
9) Slashmaster retains the WoW title with a win over Dicky Thunderbird. Once again, Thunderbird’s pure wrestling style takes Slash to the limit. This time, however, The Valedictorian lends a hand. Val comes to ringside, and as Gargoyle distracts the ref, Val smashes Thunderbird in the throat with the ring bell. He rolls Thunderbird into the ring for a Hatchet Chop and pin. As Gargoyle and Slash celebrate the win, Valedictorian climbs the turnbuckle and comes down with the bell across the back of Slash’s head. Slash staggers, slightly, and then turns to a horrified Val, who retreats.

Superstar Saturday 3/5/83 Empire Gardens Great Crowd 1600/47/***
1) Princess Starbright over Valley Girl. Uncle Eros came out and tried to re-recruit her. His distraction gave Starbright a chance to get a quick roll-up. An enraged Val went after Eros, but he got away. 2) Yuppie VP got a win over Chameleon Kid.
3) We get a commercial for the upcoming 3rd Annual March Madness tournament. The video features two-time defending champion Jet Set Strutter, who will face Damon Van Winkle in the first round. They also interview Skullgore, who will take on Arizona Chance, and Dr. B, who will meet the Flawless One. The other first-round match is announced as The Valedictorian versus Dicky Thunderbird.
4) The Blade Blasters defeat The Executors.
5) Soul Daddy over Dungeon Crawler. SD says he wants to speak. He says that he’s sent Johnny K off for more “street smarts”, in the hope that the Gramercy Riffs can be the successful team they should be. In the meantime, he will have to dominate alone.
6) Terry Van Winkle over The Flawless One. 7) Zen over Vladimir the Cruel.
8) Dark Invader over Dude Brohan with a clean pin. Brohan didn’t look so dominated when he took on Slashmaster. DSB came out and Evil Empire worked over the downed Brohan. Lyndi Harker came out and covered Brohan’s body with hers. DI picked her up and held her so that DSB could taunt her. He-Beast and Aurora came out, so DI threw Harker over the top rope and they left.
9) The Evil Empire remained in the ring and ate up the crowd’s hatred. Jessie Wild came out and challenged DSB to a fight right now. DSB agreed, if Wild made it a title match. Wild agreed, and the ring announcer backed up his commitment with word from the office. With the help from the Shark’s distraction, Wild pinned DSB to retain the title. However, DI got hold of Shark, and the masked man took another beating. DSB jumped a distracted Wild and worked him over as well. He grabbed the Cruiserweight title belt and started to leave with it. DI stopped him and told him that “he doesn’t need that trinket.” DSB nodded, an carried the belt back to the ring where he waffled Jessie once more before throwing the belt across his face and spitting on both.

Sunday Night Slam 3/13/83 The Ballroom Sold Out 1350/46/***
1) Dicky Thunderbird comes out for the first match. He acknowledges that he doesn’t do a lot of talking, because he likes to let his wrestling be his talking. He says that he and Valedictorian have been one-upping each other for years, so the WoW fans are seeing the latest chapter in long volume. Lately, though, Val’s actions have gotten more vicious…more psychotic. The look in his eyes is like the look of a wounded animal. Up till recently, no matter how heated their issues got, Val would never have used a ring bell as a weapon. He doesn’t really care what’s going on, though. He’s not trying to fix his rival. He just wants to pin or submit in the middle of the ring. That’s how you slow down the Valedictorian. Val comes out next. He attacks Thunderbird during the ring intros, but Dicky is ready. They put on another fantastic show, but it’s marred by the appearance of the Flawless One. He takes no action, but his presence distracts Thunderbird long enough to allow Val to get the pin. Val grabs a mic and says that the finals of the March Madness tournament are already decided. It will be Val versus the FO in the greatest match of all time.
2) All three Van Winkles defeat Ryan Regret’s team of Barbaric Nature and Cutthroat Carter when Devin submits Carter with the Van Winkle claw.
3) Auntie Voodoo and Gothica over Glam and Princess Starbright.
4) We are back at the mausoleum, this time with Slashmaster and Keith Blood. Slash opens the door to the mausoleum, and a barely-held together Zombie Punk staggers out. Punk and Blood leave while Slash closes the door again. After Slash leaves, as the camera shot fades, a scratching can be faintly heard coming from the other side of the door.
5) Conquer & Command defeat The American Heroes. Countess joins them after the match and demands WoW give them a shot at Shop of Horrors.
6) In his first match back since being injured by Skullgore, Drool takes on Skullgore and again loses.
7) Evil Empire are out to speak when He-Beast interrupts. He says that BASILISK is his main reason for fighting in WoW, but he’s sworn to defend against all threats. Right now, Evil Empire is his most dangerous target. He says that there’s a list of men and women willing to take on Death Star Boy. After seeing what he did to Brohan, people are warier of taking on Dark Invader. He-Beast says he’s not the least bit wary or concerned. He challenges DI to a match anytime, anywhere.
8) The next match up is a rematch between the Shark and Death Star Boy. As He-Beast holds their attention, Shark comes in from the crowd and attacks DSB from behind. He-Beast pulls DI out of the ring, and they begin fighting. DI and He-Beast move away from the ring as the match officially begins. The match is amazing and the audience is blown away. Shark picks up the win with a Great White Strike. As soon as the pin is counted, the announcers say we must cut to the back where DI and He-Beast are still fighting. Just as we find them, Dark Invader throws He-Beast into a metal rolling door. He-Beast hit heads first, and is busted open. He doesn’t get up. DI leaves. Back in the ring, DSB attacks Shark from behind as he’s watching the video screen.
9) In a Ladies’ Title match, Lyndi Harker retains against Gorgon Tokoro.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 3/19/83 Boston Arena Great Crowd 1395/44/***
Before the opening, Honest Al catches up with Big Boss, Jr., who we haven’t seen in several weeks. Al asks him the status of his group. Boss says that nobody has heard from the Mullets since he dropped them off in Memphis, and Pelvis hasn’t returned a call since the day he disappeared into the crowd in Vegas months ago. He doesn’t have a clue what he’s up to. He said the status of his group is non-existent right now. Worst of all, Boss said, he had just come to terms with things last night, and now Al’s gone and brought it back up again. He smacked Al with his 10-gallon hat and stormed off.
1) In the opener, Red Pirate Rogers beat Cutthroat Carter with Ryan Regret.
2) The Flawless One over Dicky Thunderbird. Once again, The Valedictorian provided a timely distraction. Val and TFO exchanged a knowing look as they passed.
3) Barbaric Nature destroyed The Insectoids.
4) In a Ladies’ Three-Way, Sgt. Shipley defeated Glam and Succubus.
5) Cesar Sleeze over Moon Man.
6) Arizona Chance is in the ring. He says that of all the things he’s seen in professional wrestling, what The Evil Empire did was one of the vilest. He doesn’t care what they did to him or to Brohan. They will take care of themselves. What they did to Tiki and Norman was repugnant, and will not stand. He said he’s been thinking a lot about Star Boy, before this bizarre transformation. He knows there’s nothing left of the old Star Boy in that shell. Whatever Dark Invader’s done has destroyed his old friend and replaced him with something very dark and twisted. There won’t be any of this old TV thing where somebody says “Star Boy, we know you’re in there, fight in.” Star Boy’s dead, which means he has no remorse over what he does to this imposter and that monster he runs around with. “The Evil Empire will be short-lived, and I will ensure it.”
7) Howl n’ Roar over Wall Street. After the pin, both Yuppie and Tycoon attack Leo with metal briefcases. By the time, Wolf runs them off with a chair, Leo has sustained some type of injury.
8) The Evil Empire have commandeered a cameraman in the back. Death Star Boy openly mocks Arizona Chance’s comments, but he does agree that Star Boy is dead. Which is for the better. DI helped him expunge that weakness from this vessel. He tells Jessie Wild that he’s going to take the Cruiserweight title, but he’s first going to run The Shark aground so he can’t be a hindrance any more. Shark is the only reason Wild’s still champion. Dark Invader speaks. He can’t believe that Arizona would make threats he can’t possibly back up. “I destroyed the legend of Dude Brohan in one night. Men have been trying for years, and I succeeded. Chance, you will meet the same fate. It’s inevitable. Run, now, or see your career ended. Either of us is capable of doing just that, but I think I’ll save you for me to handle.”
9) Average Guy wins the WoW TV title from Dr. B in a good match.

March Madness 3/26/83 Puro Dome Great Crowd 7560/***/56
We are back at the Puro Dome in Tokyo, Japan for the 3rd edition of our annual singles’ tournament featuring the best of the best in pro wrestling.
1) In the first match of the first round, two-time defending tournament champion Jet Set Strutter defeats Damon Van Winkle in the first of several match-of-the-year candidates.
2) However, the next match is hailed by many as the best match in the three years of WoW’s existence. Valedictorian defeats Dicky Thunderbird. “The Wrestling Overwatch” website called it “*****”.
3) This match was, in turn, followed by a “****” classic which saw Skullgore defeat Arizona Chance.
4) In the final match of the first round, The Flawless One defeated Dr. B with Countess. Whereas TFO did not appear during the Valedictorian’s match earlier in the night, Val definitely played a small part in helping TFO secure this win.
5) Shop of Horrors reign of terror continues as they successfully defend against Barbaric Nature. This puts a temporary stop to BN’s own path of destruction. The announcers made it clear that both sides of the locker room were pulling for Regret’s team whether they would admit it or not.
6) In the second round, JSS continues on his path to a three-peat by defeating The Valedictorian. While this was still a great match, it looked to many like Val had given too much to defeat Thunderbird, and JSS was able to exploit that.
7) Skullgore’s surprising run continues as he advances to the finals with a win over The Flawless One. After the match, the announcers tell us that we have to cut to the back. We see that Keith Blood and Zombie Punk have attacked The Valedictorian. TFO runs to the back upon seeing the footage, but Blood and Punk have already moved on.
8) Slashmaster defeats Fireball to retain the WoW title. After such a series of matches as we’ve seen, this one was a bit of a letdown.
9) The final match saw Skullgore upset Jet Set Strutter to win the tournament all accompanying prizes, including the guaranteed title shot. Neither wrestler had much in the tank for this match, so the tournament itself ended on a weaker note than it began. The Gargoyle, Slashmaster, Keith Blood, and Zombie Punk joined Skullgore. Gargoyle said that with Skullgore controlling this title match contract that’s one less person they will have to deal with. The tag title defense earlier in the night was what Ryan Regret had parlayed The Mad Arab’s Battle Royal win contract into, so that’s behind them. All that’s left is for them to knock back the challenge of Conquer and Command, and they might as well leave WoW with the belts. There’s nobody left.

Superstar Saturday 4/2/83 Chitown Complex Great Crowd 1650/46/***
1) 8-Bit over Wall Street. Tycoon and Yuppie went after their metal briefcases, but they were gone. Chameleon Kid was dancing up the aisle waving them around. They chased him off the arena floor.
2) Ninja Star over El Presidente.
3) Dr. B, Conquer & Command, and Countess are in the ring. Countess talks about how BASILISK doesn’t abide failure. She says she is actually forgiving if people learn from their mistakes, but hates those who repeat mistakes. She asks B how he feels, and he agrees. He asks her who she would like him to take down for making her unhappy. Iron Mask steps up and says that Conquer & Command will deliver the message, but you will be very close by when it happens. Countess says that she’s ready for the delivery to commence. With that, C&C attack and beat down Dr. B. As the attack continues, Countess says that the repeated mistakes were repeated losses. He let Brohan and Harker defeat them, he lost the TV Title, and he didn’t win March Madness. 3 mistakes, 3 strikes, and Dr. B is out of BASILISK. She warns him not to try and come after them for any sort of comical payback. He’s burned too many bridges. He has no friends. His best bet is to slink away under cover of night.
4) Uncle Eros and Cesar Sleeze are backstage. Sleeze is talking about Valley Girl and moping. Eros is telling him that they will find him a girl. He’s says he has a prospect, and he calls in Sgt. Shipley. Shipley says she didn’t know he (Sleeze) would be here. She’s not sure she should be seen talking to Uncle Eros, and she knows from talking to Valley Girl that she doesn’t want anything to do with Sleeze. Eros tries “sweet-talking” Shipley and she slaps him and leaves. He tells Sleeze to chase her down, and Sleeze tells him to “shut up”.
5) Dungeon Crawler over Soul Daddy.
6) In an upset, Zombie Punk pins Arizona Chance. Gargoyle says that you are seeing the new Zombie Punk, the one who survived combat with an enraged, starving goblin in a small building for days. Punk is truly worthy to stand beside Skullgore and Gargoyle.
7) Bobby Blitzworth over Vladimir the Cruel. Ryan Regret comes out with Vlad. A couple of minutes into the match, a techie comes out and hands Regret a note. He reads it, shrugs, and walks off. He drops the note as he does. After losing, Vlad is looking for Regret. A fan points out the note and Vlad reads it. He storms to the back.
8) We see Wall Street still looking for CK and their briefcases. They come across 8-Bit, and the two teams almost comes to blows.
9) Dicky Thunderbird over The Flawless One in another amazing match.
10) Death Star Boy wins the Cruiserweight title from Jessie Wild. Dark Invader’s liberal interference gives an assist. The Evil Empire work over Jessie after the match until Arizona Chance makes the save.
Wall Street are asking other wrestlers if they can borrow an extra bag or two to put their gear in since CK left with their cases. Ck suddenly runs by the open door to the room they are in, and they take chase again. CK runs outside almost immediately. They are behind the arena. A garbage truck is lifting one of the huge metal trash dumpsters preparing to dump the contents into its compaction area. CK throws the cases into the back of the truck just as pounds of trash release from the dumpster and bury it. Tycoon orders Yuppie to jump in and get them, and Yuppie asks if he’s crazy. They stand with their heads in their hands as they watch their cases being crunched by the truck.

Sunday Night Slam 4/10/83 Empire Gardens Sold Out 2210/46/***
The announcers open by letting us know that tonight will feature 2 3-way matches. The two winners meet next week, with the winner of that match challenging Average Guy at Champ Clash.
1) In the first 3-way, The Annihilator defeated Ninja Star and Brit Buckingham.
2) In the second 3-way, Vladimir the Cruel defeated Skullgore and Arizona Chance. The match ended up being mostly Vlad and Chance, as Conquer & Command showed up at ringside and lured Skullgore away from the match. No actual blows were landed, but their taunting proved more than he was willing to tolerate.
3) The Blade Blasters destroyed The Insectoids.
4) In an incredible mixed match, Death Star Boy defeated Lyndi Harker. DSB earned every bit of the win as Harker fought from bell-to-bell. Dark Invader started out at ringside for DSB, but Brohan came down and DI took off.
5) Dark Invader returned to the ring for the next match, in which he defeated He-Beast. Brohan had been ordered to live the building or be suspended. Before the match, a camera crew found Brohan standing in the parking lot where the wrestlers park their vehicles. He says that he will be waiting for Dark Invader when he tries to leave. He can’t stay in the arena forever.
6) Rex Spectrum is upset because he doesn’t know who has called him out here. Roboelectro walks up and Spectrum gets angrier. He says he doesn’t have time to deal with this “worthless bag of nuts n’ bolts”, and demands a technician roll him away. Robo stops the tech and sends him off. Robo says his lack of success in the ring was “operator error”, and since Rex was the operator…Rex throws a tantrum on screen. Robo says that he has upgraded his tech support, and introduces Prof. Gigawatt. The Prof says that it was indeed Spectrum’s fault that Robo had trouble with The Annihilator. He says that he will be taking Robo for a test run in the near future, and they will re-engage The Annihilator.
7) Chameleon Kid over Zen in a cleanly fought contest. After the bell, Wall St. attack both men. Max Attack comes out to make the save, but he in turn is attacked by El Presidente, who is working with Wall St. They focus the attack on CK and appear to injure his arm.
8) Big Boss, Jr. is backstage trying to talk to the Queen of Mean when she asks, “what’s that smell?” The Mullets walks up looking more unwashed than usual. The Queen bolts and Boss wonders why they had to pick right then to show up. He asks what took them so long to get back, and Cletus starts to launch into this long story about getting lost and ending up in Tupelo, MS. Zeke wouldn’t leave when he found out that was Elvis’ hometown. Boss says he really doesn’t care and starts to leave. Cletus asks him when they are going to get the gang back together, and Boss says that “there’s no gang because you two disgust me”. Cletus gets mad at Zeke and says he thought this would happen. He’s going back to the Hills and apologize to the menfolk. Hopefully, they will let them back. Zeke grabs Cletus and says that he’s not going. He wants to fight in WoW. Cletus says that they will fight one more time, but if they lose then they go home. Zeke says they won’t lose.
9) In the main event, Shop of Horrors defend the WoW Tag Team Titles against Conquer & Command. Gargoyle, Skullgore, and Zombie Punk are at ringside for SoH, and Countess for C&C. The end of the match sees Skullgore on the apron, seemingly with the intent to distract the ref. However, Skullgore grabs Keith Blood’s face and light flashes from his palm. Blood drops instantly to the mat, and Iron Mask pins him to win the titles. C&C, Countess, and Skullgore celebrate the win as Gargoyle looks on shocked. Skullgore tells him to wipe that stupid look off his face. Gargoyle says that the blood-bonding ceremony should have created a link that would enable to sense Skullgore’s emotions. A betrayal like this shouldn’t be possible. Skullgore says that’s true if the ceremony is done correctly. He says he sabotaged it from the outset. He went through the fake ceremony to give Gargoyle a false sense of security. The BASILISK crew begin chanting their name. Slashmaster threatens them, but Skullgore says that he knows the giants secrets, and warns him to stay away.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 4/16/83 Golden Plaza Great Crowd 1242/42/***
The Mullets are backstage. Cletus tells Zeke that he’s going to find out today who their opponents will be for their “Do or Die” match to see if they stay in WoW or quit. The Blade Blasters walk up and say that we volunteer. We’ve wanted to run you two out of here for a while anyhow. This is a good opportunity. Cletus says that we will let the office tell us. Zeke says that they accept the challenge. Cletus asks what he’s doing, and Zeke slugs Lazer. He goes down hard, but Buzzsaw then attacks both Mullets. Lazer gets up and joins in the attack. After the Mullets leave, The Blasters say that they don’t have anything to prove in WoW, but the office seems to enjoy making them proves themselves over and over. Anybody the office can throw out them will be knocked back, starting with those Hillbillies.
1) In the first match, Barbaric Nature, with Ryan Regret, over Devin and Damon Van Winkle.
2) In the match to determine who will challenge Average Guy at the P4V for the TV Title, The Annihilator defeats Vladimir the Cruel. After the match, Honest Al asks Vlad what happened two weeks ago when Ryan Regret was at ringside, but then left after getting a note. People saw Vlad reading that note. He asked what it said. Vlad glared at Al and walked off.
3) The Queen of Mean over Glam.
4) Brit Buckingham over Danger Zone.
5) The Gargoyle is out with Slashmaster, Keith Blood, and Zombie Punk. He announces that they have not decided not to pursue Conquer & Command for the tag titles any more. Slash wants to focus on retaining the World title, and Keith would like to return to the singles’ titles scene. He says he’s not going to talk about Skullgore and BASILISK because long, drawn-out threats are irrelevant. There will be retribution, and it will be swift and merciless.
6) Cesar Sleeze and Uncle Eros are backstage. Cesar says that he’s not real comfortable being scene with a guy like Eros unless there’s a lady involved, and Eros destroyed that scenario. Eros is about making couples, and Sleeze is very much alone with a guy dressed like a giant baby much of the time. Eros says he’s here to do something about that, and help Sleeze forget Valley Girl. They go into the next room, and Mother Russia, Chaka Crass, and a local indie wrestler names Helga Schmidt are in the room. Eros pitches the idea of Cesar Sleeze and his harem. The harem will, of course, feature these lovely ladies to begin, and then inevitably grow as other ladies become jealous of both their success and proximity to Sleeze. Crass and Mother look at each other and say they need to discuss it. Eros says fine, but he knows they will come to the right choice. They leave, but Helga stays. She says she’s already on board and loves the idea…and loves Cesar Sleeze. She tries to kiss Sleeze and he runs off. Eros tells Helga that he didn’t even know she was in the room, and really wasn’t including her. It’s obvious that she and Sleeze have chemistry, though, so he welcomes her to Sleeze’s Harem.
7) Evil Empire over 8-Bit.
8) In an incredible main event, Aurora defeats Countess. Countess drags herself to her feet after the match and asks for the mic. She asks Aurora “what’s changed? You won one match. Are your people magically back? We can fight forever, but the past is what it is. BASILISK won. Cimmeternia lost. If you pin me 100 times in row, it will change nothing. Abandon your foolish quest for vengeance, and tell your brother to do the same. Go help defend Tiki’s honor or something. Anything that will end this pointless crusade.”

Champ Clash 4/24/83 Silver Stadium 15565/53/***
1) Average Guy retained the TV title with a win over The Annihilator.
2) Dude Brohan is with Honest Al. Brohan said that he was waiting in the parking lot for Dark Invader after a show a few weeks back. His family called and asked him to come home. He wanted to wait and destroy DI right there, but decided to do the right thing. Evil Empire will be dealt with. Invader and Death Star Boy are the worst kind of scum. People are still asking him how DI manhandled him so easily. Brohan says that DI may be scum, but he’s a tough scumbag. He admits he underestimated him. It won’t happen again. He will look DI right in the face and break him into pieces, then DSB is next.
3) Conquer & Command over the Blade Blasters to retain the WoW Tag Team Title.
4) Death Star Boy, with Dark Invader, defeats The Shark to retain the WoW Cruiserweight Title.
5) Lyndi Harker defeats The Queen of Mean to retain the Ladies’ Championship. As the Queen exits the ring after the loss, Big Boss Jr. is seen waiting for her. She does not appear to feel comfortable with his attempts to speak with her.
6) Skullgore cashes in his contract gained from winning March Madness to challenge Slashmaster. It’s a tough challenge, but Slash retains. Gargoyle tells Skullgore that he thought he knew all the giant’s secrets. Skullgore offers no response.

Superstar Saturday 5/7/83 The Ballroom Sold Out 1620/46/***
1) Soul Daddy over Jessie Wild.
2) BASILISK is out with Countess, Skullgore, Succubus, Gorgon Tokoro, and Conquer & Command, the WoW Tag Champs. Countess congratulates her team on solving the mystery of Shop of Horrors, and knows that Skullgore will put down Slashmaster very soon. Skullgore says that it takes a monster to defeat a monster. He adds that he found Countess’ words to Aurora at the end of last week to be “stirring and poignant”, and he hopes that the enemies of BASILISK heed them. He compares their actions to screaming at a storm to go away. BASILISK is a storm and will not be opposed. Even if they lose a battle from time to time, the war is already over and their hand’s been already raised.
3) Wall Street over 8-Bit.
4) Next up is a 10-woman battle royal to find Harker’s next contender. The participants are: Sgt. Shipley/Mother Russia/Auntie Voodoo/Countess/Aurora/Glam/Valley Girl/Gothica/Princess Starbright/Eventual winner…The Queen of Mean. Before the match, Succubus came to the ring with Countess. She seemed to think she was in the match until being informed otherwise. She was not happy with her exclusion and returned to the back.
5) Cesar Sleeze, with Uncle Eros and Helga Schmidt, defeats Crash despite being constantly distracted by his own “valet”. The distractions come in the form of Helga constantly trying to get Sleeze’s attention. After the match, Eros calls out Chaka Crass and Mother Russia. He says he knows they’ve been busy prepping for the battle royal, but he would like their answer regarding participation in Sleeze’s harem.
6) Death Star Boy over Moon Man.
7) Drool over Vladimir the Cruel.
8) Chaka Crass over Mynx. After the match, Crass says that she and Mother are still pondering his offer. They will let him know soon. She admits the offer is very tempting, and the only reason they are taking so long is because they aren’t sure they’re worthy of the honor.
9) In a three-way match to determine Slashmasters’ challenger at Monster Mayhem, Valedictorian defeats Jet Set Strutter and Dicky Thunderbird.

Sunday Night Slam 5/15/83 Empire Gardens Sold Out 1385/42/**
1) In the opening match, The Blade Blasters destroy The Mullets. Cletus tells Zeke that’s it. They promised to leave if they lost. Zeke says he wants to fight in WoW, but Cletus tells them that a deal is a deal. Zeke says that Cletus made the deal, he didn’t want to make the deal. Zeke won’t leave. Finally, Cletus says that if he goes back home alone, then he’s going to have to talk to Little Elmer. Zeke tells him “no”, but Cletus says that Elmer thinks you should come home. Zeke agrees.
2) Dark Invader over Jessie Wild.
3) Wall Street and El Presidente over 8-Bit and Crash in a Trios Match. Chameleon Kid was their scheduled partner, but he had not significantly recovered from his injuries suffered at the hands of Tycoon and Yuppie. Zen challenged them to another Trios next week.
4) We see a video heralding the arrival of Magnus Muscle.
5) The Executors over The Insectoids.
6) Iron Mask over Warhawk by DQ when Shop of Horrors interfered. Mask got away. SoH then attacked Hawk.
7) Reptile Ranger, whom we haven’t seen in a while, is out. He acknowledges his absence, and says that some lingering health issues and other things have kept him out of the ring. He’s back and looking to pick a fight. He sees this Annihilator running around and slowly climbing the ladder in WoW. RR says that he’s going to take Annihilator’s place on that ladder by beating him. Annihilator comes out and points at RR. He points at himself, nods, and walks off.
8) Honest Al announces that Valedictorian was injured in last week’s three-way, so he will not be able to challenge Slashmaster next week. This week, Jet Set Strutter and Dicky Thunderbird, the other 2 participants in the three-will wrestle to see who gets the match. Valedictorian will get a shot upon recovery. However, in this week’s match, JSS and Thunderbird wrestle to a 60-min. time-limit draw, so the challenger’s spot remains empty.
9) Lyndi Harker retains the WoW Ladies’ Title by defeating The Queen of Mean.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 5/21/83 Golden Plaza 1230/41/**
1) Roboelectro, with Prof. Gigawatt, defeated Cesar Sleeze, with Helga Schmidt. An indignant Helga enters the ring and slaps Robo for “hurting her little Sleezy-Weezy”. She hurt her own hand with the slap. The Prof had to stop Robo from retaliating against Helga.
2) Barbaric Nature and Cutthroat Carter defeated all three Van Winkles. Honest Al approaches Ryan Regret after the match and asked him what happened with Vladimir the Cruel. Regret laughs it off and says he got his feeling hurt. He warns Vlad that if he tries to get payback, then more will be hurt than his little feelings.
3) Jessie Wild approaches Al as he’s sending back to the ring. Wild says that he wants Evil Empire in a tag match. He will find a partner, even if he has to “look to the sky”.
4) Wall Street and El Presidente over 8-Bit and Drool. Zen challenges them to one more Trios match at the P4V. Tycoon says that wrestling these two and any of their lame partners is like a night off. They accept for one more Trios match.
5) Brit Buckingham over Moon Man.
6) The announcers say that we are going to a live remote from the hospital for an interview with Madame Tiki and Teeny Norman. The person handling the interview locally will be the returning O’ Hooligan. We cut to the physical therapy room at a medical center. Some PTs are helping Norman exercise. O’Hooligan and Madame Tiki are watching. O’Hooligan asks about his status. Tiki says that what happened at the wedding definitely caused some setbacks, but nothing he can’t defeat a second time. It’s just a slow recovery. Norman makes his way to the interview. They talk about his rehabilitation. He says there’s no timetable. O’Hooligan says he has to ask about the wedding. Tiki says that they are still getting married, but it will be a small ceremony with a JotP. It was foolish to try a wrestling wedding. They never go well, but she thought this time things might be different. O’ Hooligan asks about Evil Empire. Both Tiki and Norman refuse to talk of them. They appreciate all their friends in the business taking up for them, but they have nothing to say. Their focus is on getting Norman better and them married.
7) Zeke Mullet is sitting outside the arena in the rain. Cletus pulls up in a pick-up and asks what he’s doing here. Zeke says he wants to fight more in WoW. Cletus reminds him that they agreed that they were done, and if Zeke tries to break the agreement then Cletus tells Little Elmer. Zeke says that he wants to see Little Elmer, and Cletus says to get in the truck so they can go home. Zeke complies.
8) Evil Empire over Dude Brohan and Arizona Chance. 9) Gothica over Succubus in a No-Holds-Barred match. Countess and Gorgon come out with Succubus, but then leave her alone. She seems confused and irritated by their actions.

Monster Mayhem 5/28/83 Olympus Colosseum 9919/48/**
1) In the opening ladies’ title match, Lyndi Harker defeats Gothica to retain.
2) O’Hooligan comes out. He says that he bets people were surprised to see him do that interview last week. He says he wanted to do his first Pub outside the usual set so people would look at through a different eye. Based on the feedback he’s gotten, things seemed to have gone well. He says he’s back to fight as well as interview, and he might as well start with the scum who ruined the wedding. He says that Dark Invader is impressive, but nothing that can’t be felled like a big tree. DSB is just Star Boy but weirder, so he’s no concern. He admitted to doing a lot of weird things in his life, but ruining the wedding of two good people is a line even he’d not cross.
3) 8-Bit’s mystery partner is the returning Ace Arcadium. They call themselves High Score. HS defeat Wall Street and El Presidente.
4) Dark Invader suffers his first big loss when he fails to take the TV title from Average Guy.
5) Jessie Wild is out hyping up the crowd. They are chanting “Neon, Neon”. He shrugs and says he can’t promise anything, but the people need to “look to the sky.” As he’s signing an autograph, DSB attacks him. The two fight all over the arena and out onto the concourse before being stopped by security.
6) Conquer & Command over Howl n’ Roar to retain the tag team titles.
7) Reptile Ranger pins The Annihilator.'
8) With no clear contender found from amongst the preceding matches, the office puts Skullgore in the world title match. This match, which sees Slash retain, is a far cry quality-wise than their first encounter.
