Weekend Wrasslin’ 10/17/81 Chitown Complex Decent Crowd 287/34/**
1. Soul Daddy gets a clean win over Dungeon Crawler with the Soul Glow. 2. The Gladiators, with Ryan Regret, over The Neon Express.
3. Teeny Norman over The Schmuck.
4. Crash defeated Reptile Ranger, in his comeback match, and Devin Van Winkle.
5. Max Attack over GoblinKnight. Zombie Punk attacked after the match and Zen made the save.
6. Rex Spectrum is with The Mullet Cousins. Cletus is trying to thank Rex for helping them set up Lazer for the attack, and Rex is trying to shut him up. Cletus says that once Lazer tells Buzzsaw what we’re all about, they will be handing over those titles to avoid further embarrassment.
7. Cesar Sleeze is backstage with his framed note from Mr. Fantasy promising him a shot at the title of his choosing at the time and place of his choosing. He is admiring the letter, and occasionally uses his breath and his sleeve to polish the glass and metal frame. Ninja Shadow, Vladimir the Cruel, and The Mad Arab approach him and ask to see it. He declines and tries to exit. They box him in and get the letter. They start playing “keep-away” with it, tossing it back and forth as Sleeze tries to get it. After realizing what it looks like, Sleeze stops and grab Vlad who had it last. Vlad slips it to Ninja behind his back, and Ninja and The Arab leave. Vlad shows he doesn’t have it, and Sleeze takes off after the others.
8. American Heroes over The Anti-Americans with Mother Russia.
9. In a Steel Cage Match, Countess defeats Aurora and her “mole” is apparently revealed. Despite Aurora’s win streak against her rival, all of their matches have been competitive and this one is no exception. As is the case, there comes a point where Aurora starts to take over. This time, Iron Mask comes to cageside. He starts to climb the cage and as the ref tries to order him down, he slips something threw the cage which Countess retrieves. She uses it to put Aurora down for the three-count. Mask gets the key and enters the cage. He holds Aurora up and allows Countess to administer a beating. She blasts the ref with a shot from the object and he’s out. Mask finally drops Aurora. Countess stands over her downed rival and says that this is how it must have felt while her people were razing Cimmeternia. Watching the blood flow off Aurora’s face makes her own blood stir. She turns and kisses Iron Mask on his mask. Iron Mask says it’s good to be in the presence of one worthy of his presence, and says that some in the Coalition will be faced with a choice…join or die. Countess tells him that she’s changed her mind. Nobody in the Coalition has been deemed worthy. IM says that with that being the case, the choice is made for them. “Join” is no longer an option.

Halloween Hellraiser 10/24/18 Empire Gardens Great Crowd 2790/40/**
Countess and Iron Mask are entering the arena when we hear a female voice yelling “traitor”, “scum”, and other such epithets. Countess and IM eventually stop and look, then starting laughing. Mother Russia storms up alone. IM comments on how he’s surprised she had the guts to confront them without being surrounded by her sad little coalition. Mother says that she’s not the least bit concerned about either of them touching her as “the fury of a 1,000 Hells would be brought down on them”. Countess says that her people run Hell, and she spent her last vacation there. Mother brings nothing to the table that concerns her or Iron Mask in the slightest. Before Mother can say another word, Countess says “and yes, before you waste your breath, I accept the feeble challenge you’re about to make for a match, and Iron Mask will wrestle anyone on your pathetic little team. Now, out of our way.” Countess and IM walk leaving a seething Mother Russia behind.
1. We open with a TV title match in which El Presidente once again successfully defends the title against Average Guy. EP says the number of challenges that Guy gets is beyond ludicrous. He’s shown Guy to be unworthy time and time again.
2. In a non-title match, Auntie Hex defeats Madame Tiki. Hex reminds everyone that she earned a title match months ago, but, once again, WoW refuses to respect the ladies’ division.
3. Arizona Chance over Keith Blood.
4. The Blade Blasters have little trouble with the Mullet Cousins.
5. Cesar Sleeze over Vladimir the Cruel. The crowd is firmly behind Sleeze. After pinning Vlad, Cesar demands that Vlad return his document. The Mad Arab appears at the top of the ramp with the document. Cesar takes off after him, and Arab runs away.
6. Aurora is with Honest Al. She admits that she lost the cage match to Countess, but says that everyone saw what it took for Countess to get the win. She understands that beating Countess doesn’t bring back Cimmeternia, but hurting her feels good. Every time she delivers a punch, a stomp, or locks in a hold, she thinks of a specific Cimmeternian, and imagines they are the ones doing it. Now, Countess has gone and done exactly what Aurora thought, and made an enemy of Mother Russia. She’s going to find fighting a two-front war to be quite difficult. This will give her a chance to get her hands on Mother Russia as well, whom she finds almost as deplorable as Countess. Al asks her about other Cimmeternians who might be allies. Aurora gave a small smile and said that “Countess and Iron Mask sure hope there aren’t any. I’m going to let them believe that for now.”
7. The Anti-Americans successfully defend the WoW tag team titles against The American Heroes. Mother Russia gets in the ring with Ninja Shadow and tells Jet Set Strutter that he will be the next to fall as the Coalition defy the odds and win Mr. Fantasy’s challenge, thus insuring their domination for a very, very long time.
8. Ninja Shadow defeats Jet Set Strutter to win the WoW championship. Vladimir the Cruel’s interference allowed her to get a cheap shot in with her flag pole which allowed Ninja to get the pinfall. He is in the ring with Anti-Americans and El Presidente. Mother Russia shows off the hardware. She says that Mr. Fantasy tried to stack the deck, and there were times when even she had small doubts, not because she doubted her team’s ability, but because she doubted Fantasy’s integrity. She still doubts his integrity, but her Coalition has risen above all the diversity. They are one win away from total domination. Johnny Kobra, your days are numbered.

Superstar Saturday 11/7/81 Golden Plaza Sold Out 1130/39/**
1. Mother Russia is in the ring alone. She says that many have asked her why she didn’t mention Iron Mask’s betrayal at the end of Halloween Hellraiser. She says that was The Coalition’s time and she didn’t want to dirty the air with the cretin’s name. He was not worthy to be mentioned, even in scorn, at such a momentous occasion. Countess interrupted. She told Mother not to be bitter just because Iron Mask used and manipulated her for all those months. Mother says that Mask was always the weak link and was going to be eliminated soon. She just wanted to find out what his play was. Countess replied that any team with Vlad on it has a built-in weak link. She then added, “aside from you.” Mother asked Countess if she wanted to go at it right now, and Countess replied, “I never thought you’d ask.” A ref made the match official and it was on. Countess wins the match with the Great Oppression.
2. The Mad Arab over Fireball in a **** No-Holds-Barred match. Both men needed medical attention afterwards. 3. Reptile Ranger over The Schmuck.
4. The Anti-Americans comes out by themselves. They threaten Iron Mask and Countess, and say that Vlad will make Iron Mask regret Countess’ words. They reiterate Mother’s comments from the last show that Johnny Kobra is the only thing between The Coalition and total control. This brings out Mr. Fantasy. Fantasy says he wanted to say this to Mother, but she’s still licking her wounds from the beating Countess gave her. He hopes they will deliver the message. Fantasy quickly runs down The Coalition’s roster. He points out that Ninja Shadow, who won the WoW title last week, was the only cruiserweight on the team. They just screwed themselves. Brit laughs and says that he hates Fantasy’s smugness most of the time, but he loves it when that smugness ends up making Fantasy look like an idiot. Brit introduces the newest member of the Coalition, and the man challenging for the cruiserweight title in tonight’s main event, Keith Blood!! Fantasy is livid. As Blood comes down the aisle, Succubus is with him. Gothica comes charging out of the dressing room and begins yelling at him. Succubus levels her with one punch. Blood and Succubus join The A-As in the ring. Blood is very formal as usual, and only acknowledges his new teammates with a subtle nod.
5. Pat Cabbage over Zeke Mullet.
6. Vladimir the Cruel over Iron Mask with Countess.
7. Ruffian defeated Red Pirate Rogers by disqualification. RPR was disqualified when he got holding the chair that he had just taken from Ruffian.
8. Dr. B, with Dude Brohan, over Mr. Tycoon, with Yuppie VP. Pierre attacked after the ring and Big Money beat down the A-List. O’ Hooligan tried to make the save, but was laid out as well.
9. Keith Blood, with Succubus, defeated Johnny Kobra, with Ruffian, to win the Cruiserweight Championship. Ruffian was on the apron. Succubus jumped on his back. Kobra tried to help him extricate her, but Blood hit the Crucifix for the win and the title. Ruffian threw himself off the apron to knock her off. She was stunned. Blood jumped on Ruffian and laid into him. The Coalition all came out and got Blood to join the celebration. The title holders held their belts high as the rest of the group celebrated. Mother said they were invincible. They were here to stay, and there’s nothing anyone could do about it. She called Mr. Fantasy a miserable old wretch and said that he would be out of power within days. The crowd was whipped into a frenzy of rage. Mother said that their fear and anger was like food to the Coalition. She will enjoy rubbing their stupid, vapid faces into the Coalition’s success. If you aren’t Coalition, you are inferior, and the USA leads the world in inferiority. Mr. Fantasy’s music hit. He came out and ordered them to stop the celebration until they actually earned it. He said that if you don’t like my smugness then you haven’t seen anything yet. Mother says that the Coalition won his challenge. There’s nothing that he can do. Fantasy laughs and says that my challenge was worded thusly-a video clip plays- “If, at any point between right now and the minute that show ends, The Coalition hold all the WoW belts simultaneously, then they have Carte Blanche to do whatever they want in the company going forward.” Mother points to her group, and asks what more does he need. Fantasy can’t believe she’s so oblivious. He says there’s a title the Coalition doesn’t hold, and it’s up to you to win it.” Madame Tiki walks out and Mother looks stupefied. Fantasy repeats that he said “all titles.” Tiki says that if this belt means so little to you that you don’t even consider it important, then you’re a long way from getting a title shot. She says that she can kill the Coalition single-handedly by refusing to defend the title against Mother until next year. She says it’s up to Mother to give her a good reason why she shouldn’t do just that.

Sunday Night Slam 11/15/81 Boston Arena Great Crowd 1515/40/***
1. We open with Dude Brohan in the ring. He says that Dr. B isn’t here tonight, and he wants to thank him for his help these past few weeks against Big Money. He thinks that Money’s finally figuring out that they aren’t ready for the A-Listers. He does feel bad for O’ Hooligan, the way he made a promise he couldn’t back up in challenging Big Money, but he and the Doc don’t trust O’ Hooligan enough to team with him. Pierre’s music plays and the Giant comes out. He calls Brohan a fraud in everything he’s ever done. Pierre says he was a legend before Dude was out of primary school. Brohan knows Pierre is superior. Mr. Fantasy comes out and says let’s see about that. He orders a Brohan-Pierre match…. right now!! As is usually the case when these two meet, Brohan gets the win.
2. Yuppie VP and O’ Hooligan are in the ring for the next match. Yuppie tells O’ Hooligan that Big Money are ready for the Briefcase-On-A-Pole match that he was so excited about a couple of weeks ago. He figures O’ Hooligan wants to call it off since his “partners” said no. They knew he was a coward. O’ Hooligan replies that the match is on and he wants it next week. It will be a handicap match if that’s what it takes. Yuppie says that O’ Hooligan will have a permanent handicap when that match is over. In this match, O’ Hooligan picks up the win with Barroom Brawl.
3. The Executors make their return with a win over The Insectoids.
4. In the first ever Ladies’ Three-Way match, Mother Russia defeats Countess and Aurora with the Soviet Slam on Aurora. At one point, Countess suggests an alliance against her rival. Mother agrees, and then blindsides Countess as soon as she turns her back. 5. Iron Mask over Danger Zone.
6. Jet Set Strutter is in the ring with The Thinker. He says that people have been asking why Thinker doesn’t second him in matches against the Coalition. JSS says that’s their business, and way above the 9-to-5 schlub’s pay grade. He then addresses Average Guy and reminds him that he doesn’t want or need his help, period. Guy’s reasons and excuses are irrelevant…Stay away!! Finally, whoever has the belt, whether it’s the Ninja or anyone else, JSS is coming and he will take it back.
7. Bobby Blitzworth over Pelvis Presley with Big Boss, Jr.
8. We see a video package with Johnny Kobra. He’s going through some martial arts training, and speaking in voiceover. He says he will regain the cruiserweight title. He talks about renewing his friendship with Soul Daddy and how SD’s leadership has turned his career around. He tells a story about his and SD’s favorite movie, The Warriors. He and SD always identified with the top gang in that movie, The Gramercy Riffs, and said that’s what he and SD are calling themselves in WoW. One person who won’t be a Riff is Ruffian. He said that he and SD sent that loser packing after his total lack of anything resembling skill or intelligence. Don’t look for him in WoW again.
9. In a tag title rematch, The Anti-Americans retain against The Blade Blasters with help from the Coalition.

Weekend Wrasslin’ 11/21/81 Canada Centre Great Crowd 1023/40/**
1. Arizona Chance is about to address the crowd when Slashmaster comes out alone. He steps onto the ring apron and stares at Chance. After few long seconds, he points at Chance and enters the ring. Chance says that he assumes he wants a fight right now and Slash nods. Chance says to get a ref down here because the Slashmaster and I are about to fight and we might as well make it official. A ref runs down and calls for the bell. Chance fights hard, but Slash just overpowers him and finishes him off with the Hatchet Chop.
2. The Gladiators, with Ryan Regret, over Nerd Alert. Afterwards, Regret says that he’s heard The Executors are back and looking for his Gladiators. That’s fine with them, because the Gladiators are angry that they didn’t finish the job the first time.
3. Auntie Hex over Sgt. Shipley.
4. Next up is the Briefcase-On-A-Pole match. Big Money are in the ring, but O’ Hooligan comes out alone. He said that he never backs down from a challenge, even if things didn’t turn out like he thought. He says that if Brohan and the Doc change their mind between now and when these three guys beat the Hell out of me, they are still welcome. He does tell Big Money that despite the odds, they will know they’ve been in a fight when it’s over. When the bell rings, Tycoon tells Pierre to step out of the match. He’s feeling merciful tonight. In the early part of the match, O’ Hooligan controls the action against both his opponents, and the Wall Street pair are quickly frustrated. O’ Hooligan comes close to getting the briefcase several times. Finally, an angry Tycoon tells Pierre to get in the match. Pierre takes over and beats up O’ Hooligan. As he goes for the briefcase, Brohan’s music hits and he and Dr. B come out. The ref tries to tell them to leave, but Mr. Fantasy comes out and allows it. The match continues with Brohan/B/O’ Hooligan taking over. The end comes when O’ Hooligan gets the briefcase, but drops it after a cheap shot from Pierre. Dr. B picks it up. O’ Hooligan asks for it, but Dr. B waffles Yuppie VP for the pin. Brohan and B congratulate each other. They finally turn to O’ Hooligan and offer their hands. He reaches out to shake Dr. B’s, but then does a fake out and runs his hands through his hair. He tells Dr. B, “sorry, Doc, but I don’t trust you” before leaving. 5. Big Thuggee over Zap. This is Zap’s first match back after returning from an injury at the hands of Soul Daddy. He told the crowd that the doctor’s say he’s not ready, but he can’t sit by and watch Soul Daddy do whatever he wants.
6. Iron Mask comes out and challenges anyone from the Coalition to a match. Vladimir the Cruel comes out and accepts. As Vladimir is talking to Mask, he is jumped by Cesar Sleeze who keeps yelling at him about wanting his “letter” back. Mask comes in to join in the attack, but Sleeze grabs him and throws him off the platform.
7. We go to a commercial for the Survival Series P4V. The Blade Blasters, Average Guy, and Bobby Blitzworth talk about their upcoming matches on that show. Guy will team with the Blade Blasters to take on El Presidente, The Mad Arab, and The Great Ginzu. Blitzworth will team with The American Heroes against the Anti-Americans and Vladimir the Cruel.
8. Back live, Cesar Sleeze is still working over Vladimir as the medics try to assist the beaten man. He finally gets disgusted and leaves. The announcers say that for anyone wondering why the Coalition didn’t help their teammate, this was going on backstage. We cut to the outside of a dressing room with “Coalition” plate on the door. A large forklift has been backed up and parked against the door. The Coalition can be heard yelling from inside while crew members are running around looking for the keys.
9. In a non-title match, Mother Russia, who was not trapped in the locker room with the rest of the team, defeats Madame Tiki. She announces that this insures that WoW will screw her out of her title shot since they know she can win. Tiki says that she will make sure Mother does get a shot. She earned it, and while Mother may have no sense of honor, Tiki does.

Survival of the Fittest 11/27/81 Chitown Complex Great Crowd 4070/40/***
Before the first match, Mr. Fantasy came out. He said that due to circumstances beyond WoW’s control, namely, a rash of injuries, there would be extensive changes to the card. He apologized profusely and said that he hopes the fans will find the new show to their satisfaction.
1. In the opening Cruiserweight title match, Keith Blood, with Succubus, defeated Crash to retain the title.
2. The Blade Blasters and Average Guy came out first for the initial Trios match of the night. El Presidente came out alone. He said that Ginzu and The Mad Arab were among those unable to compete, but he’s hired the perfect set of partners. Proving that capitalism isn’t always a bad thing, he introduces Big Money, Pierre and Mr. Tycoon. Tycoon said that he and Pierre may not see eye-to-eye with EP on many things, but they both know the value of a cold, hard cash. Tonight, they work for El Presidente!! The Blasters/Guy team pick up the win when Lazer hit the Lazer Blade Splash on Tycoon. EP isn’t happy and he and Tycoon almost come to blows. EP and Big Money act like they’re leaving, but they attack the Blasters and Guy. Lazer and Guy are taken out quickly, so they focus on Buzzsaw. Pierre splashes him and drops several big elbows on Buzzsaw before they are finally run off. Buzzsaw looks to be injured by the attack.
3. In an All-Ladies Trios Match, Aurora, Princess Starbright, and Madame Tiki defeat Mother Russia, Valley Girl, and Auntie Hex.
4. We’re in Gothica’s favorite graveyard. It’s her and Slashmaster. Gothica looks sad. She says that everyone expects her to swear an unholy vengeance on Keith Blood and Succubus for leaving her. She’s not, though, because she doesn’t care. In fact, she’s glad they left her just like she’s glad Skullgore left and Ghoul n’ Goblin left all those months ago. Every time somebody she feels responsible for leaves, the load gets a little lighter. She realizes now that she needs to focus on her career instead of advising others, so she needs to completely free herself. She looks at Slashmaster and says “we’re done. I release you from all bonds that we might share.” With that, she walked off. Slashmaster stood there for a few seconds, then turned and ripped a tombstone out of the ground. With an unearthly wail, he shattered the tombstone with his bare hands.
5. The Anti-Americans and Vladimir the Cruel come out for the next Trios match. Mother Russia is with them, but is showing the effects of her prior match. Brit wants everyone to notice that the core of the Coalition is present and accounted for. Mother discourages him from continuing this direction in his promo. Hammerhead continues by saying that he knows the “Big American Heroes” are not all present as Blitzworth is out. The American Heroes interrupt him as they make their way to the ring. The Coalition try to mockingly guess who they got as a partner…Teeny Norman, The Schmuck, one of the Nerds? Then, a new voice was heard, “you guys forgot me already? Let me reintroduce myself!!” With that, The Shark returns to WoW for the first time since suffering a potentially career-ending injury at the hands of the Coalition in April. He charges the ring and the match is on immediately. The Heroes and The Shark dominate the first part of the match until Mother’s interference causes a momentum swing. When it looks like the Coalition might put the match away, The Shark takes back over and carries his team the rest of the way until pinning Vladimir after a Great White Strike. The Coalition took off as the rest of their opposition joined The Heroes and The Shark in the ring to celebrate. The ring finally cleared and we are ready for the main event.
6. Jet Set Strutter comes out first. Average Guy is waiting by the entrance. JSS tells him to stay away no matter what happens. Guy says that he won’t allow a piece of talent like JSS to be put on the shelf by a bunch of thugs, period. In the match, a WoW title defense, Ninja Shadow retains against JSS. The Coalition show up and threaten JSS. Guy comes out but doesn’t approach the ring. JSS, once again, says stay away. The Coalition turns and attacks Guy. JSS watches and then leaves. Guy’s allies make the save.

Superstar Saturday 12/1/81 Chitown Complex Great Crowd 1131/42/**
1. Glam and Mynx defeated Chaka Crass and Valley Girl.
2. Cesar Sleeze is in Mr. Fantasy’s office. He is demanding the return of his letter, claiming that Vladimir the Cruel has it. Fantasy says that Sleeze tricked him, and that’s the only reason that letter even exists. Sleeze says that he just did what Fantasy said. He just did it better than the other two guys. Fantasy says that possession is 9/10ths of the law, and there was no name on it. Sleeze says there was and he can prove it. You get Vlad in here with the letter and I can prove it. Vlad walks in, and Fantasy says that he’d already called for him. Sleeze asks for the letter and Vlad says that he doesn’t have it...on him. Fantasy says that I’m booking you in a match ASAP. Winner gets the letter and the issue is closed, now get out of my office. After they leave and shut the door, Fantasy goes back to looking at his computer briefly and then stops and looks around. “I know you’re there,” he says, “come on out.” Slashmaster steps out from a corner of the room that was in darkness. Fantasy says that he understands that Slash and Gothica have parted company. He says that he wants to keep doing business with Slash, but he’s hard to communicate with. He tells Slash that he thinks he has a solution.
3. The Gladiators, with Ryan Regret, over The Executors. Regret tells the Executors that he can’t believe that he let them drag down his career like they did. 4. O’ Hooligan’s Pub is open with Dr. B. B asks O’ Hooligan why he wasn’t more grateful to him and Brohan for saving him when they didn’t have to. O’ Hooligan says that the way you guys did it, I would just as soon you let me get stomped. He accused them of waiting, on purpose, so they could pull a grandstand move and show up like the saviors of humanity they wish they were. O’ Hooligan called them two over-hyped guys with an inflated sense of self-worth who don’t really care about anybody but themselves. They’re fakes, frauds, phonies, and hypocrites. B says we should’ve let you get broken in two. O’ Hooligan says it would’ve been preferable to watching you two preening, self-congratulatory jackasses out there. This angered B and he jumped up. O’ Hooligan got right in his face and said let’s go. The place flooded with security and wrestlers who broke the situation up.
5. Zeke Mullet over Dungeon Crawler.
6. Reptile Ranger and Big Thuggee went to a double-disqualification.
7. Warhawk and Iron Mask fought to a double countout.
8. Gothica used the Halloween Dreams to defeat Almighty Dolla.
9. In a three-way match to determine Ninja Shadow’s next challenger, Arizona Chance beat Average Guy and Dude Brohan. Chance appeared to be injured during the match, however.

Sunday Night Slam 12/7/81 Empire Gardens Sold Out 1960/45/***
Jet Set Strutter is coming in the arena. He is quickly surrounded by Coalition members taunting him about the WoW title that Ninja Shadow is shoving in his face. JSS takes it for a second and then slugs Ninja. The Coalition attack. Within seconds, Average Guy is there swinging a chair and they run off. He offers the downed Strutter a hand up, and it is accepted. JSS straightens his suit and tells Guy not to expect a thank-you. Guy shrugs and says that’s not why I did it. He turns to leave, and JSS rams his rolling suitcase into Guy’s leg, knocking him down. He then grabs the chair and gives Guy several shots with it. JSS yells “when I left you to get your butt kicked last week by those guys, didn’t that tell you something. Are you stupid or stubborn? This is my final message, Guy.” JSS smacked him again before grabbing his case and walking off.
1. O’ Hooligan over Dr. B with the Barroom Brawl. After the pin, O’ Hooligan asked B where his good buddy Brohan was. He told B that Brohan was back in the title picture, where B should be, and didn’t need to use B for back-up any more.
2. Devin Van Winkle, with Franz Van Winkle, over Pelvis Presley with Big Boss, Jr.
3. The Gladiators, with Ryan Regret, over The American Heroes. Mother Russia came to the ring and told The Gladiators that she admired their work. She asked Ryan if he would be interested in talking about he and the Gladiators joining the Coalition. Regret asked why he would want to join a group that despises everything about the very country that made his incredible lifestyle possible. She then asks the Gladiators if they would like to dump Regret. Massacre laughs and asks her why they would want to be part of a group that they consider future victims, not future allies.
4. Valley Girl over Princess Starbright and Gothica in a three-way match.
5. We are in the graveyard. Slashmaster enters and looks off-screen. Mr. Fantasy, looking quite frightened, enters and stands next to him. He won’t stop looking around. He asks Slash why they had to do this here. Slash just looks at him. Fantasy says that he wants to get this over with. He says that he’s found somebody he thinks Slash will like to serve as a liaison. Slash just looks at him. Fantasy yells “Get in here!”. A gnarled, hunched-over man in monk’s robes enters. He is rubbing his hands together and muttering “yes, yes”. Fantasy says “Slashmaster, meet Gargoyle…Gargoyle, Slashmaster…Bye.” Just then a wolf howls and Fantasy shouts and runs off.
6. Big Money give The Blade Blasters a rare, clean loss. There is extra tension when Buzzsaw and Pierre face off, and ‘Saw ends up taking the pin from a Pierre Giant Elbow.
7. Bobby Blitzworth over Iron Mask.
8. Mother Russia is with The Anti-Americans, Vladimir, and Keith Blood. She proclaims that adding Keith was a master stroke of genius on her part. To anyone asking if adding Blood compromises the integrity of the Coalition, she answers this way. “When it comes to expanding my power base, there are very few compromises that I wouldn’t make. In this case, I’m not having to do that. Keith and Succubus hate everyone, including the Coalition. They just understand it was the smart play.”
9. Mr. Fantasy comes out. The crowd chants “you were scared” at him. He says that they would’ve been too. That place was the stuff of nightmares. He isn’t here to talk about that video. He’s here to make a new main event. After what happened in the show’s opening, Average Guy has had enough. Tonight’s main event, starting right now, is Average Guy versus Jet Set Strutter!! In a very good match, Guy defeats Strutter despite the interference of The Thinker (who is on the receiving end of an Average Elbow of his own).

Weekend Wrasslin’ 12/13/81 Golden Plaza Great Crowd 1066/42/**
1. In the opening match, Cesar Sleeze takes on Vladimir the Cruel. The announcers tell the fans that this match will determine ownership of the letter granting the holder a shot at the title of his choosing at the time and place of his choosing. Sleeze complains about having to wrestle for his own property, but Vlad currently holds possession. Vlad leaves the framed letter at ringside with the announcers. Sleeze tries to get it to prove it’s his, but isn’t allowed to touch it. However, Sleeze wins the match and regains possession of the object. He shows the camera the back of the frame, and the word “SLEEZE” has indeed been cut into the metal. He says it was his all along. He says the next time we see it will be at the match the letter allows him to take.
2. Average Guy and The Blade Blasters defeat Big Money when Guy pins Yuppie. After the match, Buzzsaw challenges Pierre to a one-on-one match.
3. Star Boy, with Mr. Bonsai, over GoblinKnight.
4. Countess over Mother Russia. Countess tells Mother that the Coalition will soon be dead, and that her organization will fill the void.
5. Slashmaster and The Gargoyle are with Rex Spectrum. Rex tries to ask Slash direct questions, but gets no answer, of course. The Gargoyle tells Rex to address him with questions. Rex starts to ask Gargoyle a question about how well he and Slash are working together when Gargoyle interrupts by cackling loudly and wringing his hands. Gargoyle tells Slash to “show the…talking box… what he wants to know.” Without looking, Slash punches his fist through Rex’ screen. There are sparks and small explosions. Gargoyle cackles, “you see Talking Box...wait, he’s gone. Oh, well. Guess he wasn’t that interested.” Gargoyle walks off and Slash follows, taking a second to punch the cameraman. The camera falls to the ground on its side, but stays running. Honest Al steps into frame, looks at Rex’ TV and then back at the grounded camera. “I’m damn sure glad that I didn’t call the call for that promo.”
6. Howl n’ Roar over The Slave Drivers.
7. Warhawk over Iron Mask.
8. The Mullet Cousins are outside the arena standing next to a dilapidated RV. Cletus says that this is our home because we still aren’t allowed back in Tennessee. Granny’s still making rap albums in Cali-fornia, The Blade Blasters are still making our women folk feel all funny inside, and well, we cain’t do anything about it. Big Boss, Jr. and Pelvis Presley walk up, but it’s obvious that Presley wants nothing to do with the Mullets. They are in awe of Presley like he’s the real thing. Boss gets between them. Presley throws a scarf over Zeke’s head and acts like he’s thrilled. Boss says that I can get you back in Tennessee, but you have to do something for me. Cletus says anything we can do. Boss asks them if they’ve heard about them Van Winkle boys from Texas. Cletus says he hates Texas ‘cause they think they’re so great. Boss says that Tennessee beats Texas every which-aways, and the Mullets are going to prove it by whuppin’ the Van Winkles. Cletus starts singing “Rocky Top”. Zeke just fondles the scarf, and Pelvis Presley tells Boss that he will “be in the limo” before walking off.
9. In our main event Cruiserweight title match, Keith Blood, with Succubus, and Devin Van Winkle, with his father Franz, go to a double countout.

WoW Awards Banquet 12/20/81 Main Banquet Hall Silver Stadium
The second annual WoW awards dinner was held in a beautifully decorated hall within Silver Stadium, the site of the final event of the year. Mr. Fantasy makes a few remarks, and then introduces tonight’s host, Haka Tonga. Haka says that the doctors think he might be able to return someday, and he’s working with that goal in mind. After a short keynote speech, Haka says that it’s time for the awards.
First up is “Most Hated”. This year they are doing something different with this award. The fan-submitted votes were all for various members of the Coalition. The voting was spread out fairly equally amongst the roster of the group, including Mother Russia. The committee made the decision to give the award to one person representing the entire Coalition, Mother Russia. Neither Mother nor anyone from the Coalition was present to receive it.
Next up is “Most Popular”, also a fan-voted award.
The Nominees are: Arizona Chance Dude Brohan Dr. B Average Guy Bobby Blitzworth
In a landslide, the winner was Average Guy. In his speech, Guy shared the award with everyone who helped him battle the Coalition all year long…The Blitz, Fireball, Warhawk and Danger Zone, and The Shark. Guy brought the Shark onstage with him to a standing ovation.
Next up is Tag Team of the Year.
The Nominees are: The Anti-Americans The American Heroes Blade Blasters The B-Boys Howl n’ Roar
In another landslide, the winners are The Blade Blasters. Lazer and Buzzsaw accept the awards but decline to make a speech.
Finally, it’s time for Wrestler of the Tear
The Nominees are: Jet Set Strutter Average Guy El Presidente Dude Brohan Ninja Shadow
In a close race, Average Guy barely edges out the second-place wrestler, Jet Set Strutter, to win his second award of the night. He offers a quick thank-you and tells everybody it’s time to get “funky like a monkey.”

Tournament of Queens 12/21/81 Silver Stadium Sold Out 10335/39/**
Mr. Fantasy introduced a surprise entrant in the ToQ, Japanese legend Gorgon Tokoro.
1. In the first bout in the tournament, Lyndi Harker defeats Gorgon Tokoro in a surprise upset.
2. Almighty Dolla over Aurora. During the match, the announcers refer to an “ongoing investigation” of Dolla. To this point in time, there isn’t enough information to say anymore.
3. Princess Starbright over Valley Girl to the delight of the crowd.
4. In the final first-round match, The Queen of Mean defeated Gothica.
5. In a match for the WoW Tag Team titles, The Anti-Americans defeated the Neon Express.
6. In a ToQ semi-final, Almighty Dolla defeated Lyndi Harker. Throughout the match, Dolla taunted Harker about not having “evidence”. She claims that Harker can’t beat her in the ring so she’s trying to discredit her in the boardroom.
7. The Queen of Mean over Princess Starbright with a little help from Valley Girl.
8. In a Wow World title match, Ninja Shadow defeated Average Guy. Arizona Chance, the rightful holder of this spot, was injured. He personally picked Guy to take the match in his stead. Mother Russia said that ToQ finals winner, Dolla of the Queen, would be wrestling her for the title, not Tiki. She was beating Tiki in just a few minutes for the Ladies’ title, thus winning Mr. Fantasy’s challenge, and The Coalition will rule wrestling. She knows Fantasy is in the back right now more scared of the Coalition than he ever was in that graveyard. He’s terrified right now of how WoW will look under Coalition control. He just thinks he will remain in charge.
9. In the ToQ final, Almighty Dolla defeats The Queen of Mean to win the tournament. She takes home all the associated prizes as well as a future title shot. Dolla says she’s not worried who she will be winning the title from, Tiki or Mother Russia. Neither is much of a threat to the legend.
10. In tonight’s main event, the future of WoW comes down, potentially, to this match. The Coalition comes out first carrying Mother Russia over their heads on a sedan chair. She entered the ring wearing a robe covered in Soviet symbolism. Madame Tiki came out accompanied by Mr. Fantasy, Teeny Norman, Average Guy, The Shark, Bobby Blitzworth, and the American Heroes. Mother told Fantasy that he’s not supposed to take sides. Fantasy replied that, in this situation, of course he’s taking sides. Norman said that tonight’s going to have two things to celebrate tonight. After Tiki wins, they have a special announcement. Fantasy said that to keep this fair, everybody is going to the back, period, no arguments. Show up at ringside before this match is over and you’re fired. The Coalition grumbled, but Mother said she could handle it. After the two groups nearly came to blows, the ref ordered them to leave or he was calling off the match. He asked Mother if she really wanted that. She told him that when she takes over, he’s fired. Eventually, everybody leaves and the match begins. The announcers comment that Mother looks like a different wrestler when the stakes are high. It looks early on like WoW is in trouble. Tiki comes back to even things out, but the damage has been done. At one point, Mother goes under the ring and pulls out what id shown to be the plaque she won as the “Most Hated” wrestler of 1981. She takes the plaque in the ring and breaks it over Tiki’s head for a 2-9/10ths count. She is bleeding. Norman comes to the top of the entrance, but Guy stops him from going to the ring. Mother takes the time to taunt Norman. This allows Tiki time to get up and she levels Mother with a clothesline. The announcers point out that Fantasy’s proclamation said that anyone at ringside would be fired. Norman never made it that far. Was his word choice intentional? Also, Mother chose to give Norman her attention. He was not truly distracting her. The match continued Mother tried cutting Tiki more with one corner of the broken plaque, but Tiki fights her off and shoves the piece of wood into Mother’s eye. This is the turning point. Mother is badly injured at this point with her vision severely impaired. With what she’s got left, Tiki crushes Mother in the corner and then follows it up with the South Pacific Splash for the pin. The crowd roars and Tiki’s supporters, led by Norman, rush the ring. No Coalition member comes out, and Mother is tended to by physicians at ringside before being helped to the back. Tiki receives a quick look by the doctor, and her head in bandaged. Warhawk says that Tiki did what they weren’t ever able to do with finality and that’s end the Coalition. Fantasy says that the reason you didn’t see any Coalition members out here to support Mother in her loss was because they all jumped in their vehicles and left the second she lost. So much for support. He actually feels sorry for her right now. Everything gets quiet when people realize that Norman and Tiki are kissing in the middle of the ring. He drops to a knee and pulls a box out of his pocket. Teeny Norman proposes to Madame Tiki right then and there. She says “yes” without hesitation. After he puts the ring on, she picks him up in a hug that looks like it’s going to crush him. Several lady wrestlers come out to congratulate Tiki. The crowd is chanting and loving the whole spectacle. Suddenly, music which sounds like a Barry White love song comes over the speaker. An obese, very red-faced man with long, flowing blonde hair and wearing a cherub costume comes out. It’s a short, Greek-style tunic with fake angel wings attached to the back. He’s carrying a bow and a quiver of arrows. Everybody gets quiet at this odd sight. “My name is Uncle Eros, and they are in looooooooove. It’s all thanks to little ol’ me.” Fantasy finally takes a mic and says that he thinks that’s enough celebrating for one night, and tells the crowd thank you. The wrestlers make their way up the aisle, giving Eros an odd look as the go by. Norman and Tiki are last. When they pass Eros, he drops in behind them and starts whispering in their ears. Both give him a long, hard look and then Tiki picks up Norman and runs away from Eros carrying her new fiancée. Eros gives the crowd another coy wave before stepping through the curtain.

1981 is done. For those of you following, I thank you again for reading and I hope you still find my version of WoW to be enjoyable.
For anyone who might have noticed the discrepancy, the ladies title match isn't on the official format for Tournament of Queens. I added the match as I had to finish my year-long Coalition storyline. I would've used the screwjob card to make sure Tiki won if the match had actually been on the real card, so the ending would've been the same.
I know Ladies wrestling wasn't as big in the 80s as it would later become, but if you're going to offer championships then they really need more defenses of the ladies title. After July, there was 1 ladies' title defense in August and none after that. Anyhow, that's one of my very few issues with this game.
On to 1982, I hope will stick around for the ride.
